I LOVED the Transcends when they first came out. Wore holes in the bottom of 2 pairs. These are a totally different ride and fit; not in a good way. Gave them 2 runs and got a blister both times. Unfortunate.

So I am a group fitness instructor and personal trainer. I also have flat feet, pronate and wear custom orthotics. This shoe is super cute. It's very stable and would be good for any type of lateral movements. However, it does not have enough cushion and it does not fit my custom orthotics at all. If you are looking for a stability shoe for high impact activities, (step aerobics or plyometrics) this is not the shoe for you. It also feels a little narrower than marked. I wear a women's size 5. I ordered a size 6 hoping the size up would fit my orthotics. Sadly, it did not. Too bad, because it is really cute!

I have always liked Brooks for running but it seems that the can't get the arch support right at times. These really hurt my right foot arch and I had to return. I love my Transcend 2's but these are a no-go for me. (ps...I have normal feet...nothing special..so they should fit just fine : (
