Okay, first of all, I am a 6 1/2 and I ordered down to a 6, based on some of the reviews, since these only come in full sizes. This was the right call, so if you're a half-size, order down. Secondly, I originally bought the Hunter ankle boots, and they were a TOTAL JOKE to put on. It was seriously almost impossible to pull them on, AND they don't have the yummy faux shearling lining. These are super cute, and super comfy. They could actually be easier to put on - perhaps Tretorn could add a pull tab in front, in addition to the current one on the back; and also make the elastic a bit more pliable. But still - night and day compared to the Hunter. Another thing I don't LOVE about these, but it's totally not a deal breaker based on all the other great attributes (comfort, styling, usefulness) is how the shearling at the bottom kind of makes your foot slide forward and backward within the boot. Ugg has this figured out, so maybe Tretorn could learn something from them, by studying how they're doing their shearling foot beds?

Super cute, and the fluff inside feels great. However they are a bit clunky, they fit on the inside (true to size), but there is a lot of shoe on the outside, kind of heavy and boxy. I have small feet, and it feels like I have a giant shoe on! Also, right at the ankle where the stretchy band is, a flap on the inside rubs my ankle uncomfortably. Hopefully, I get used to them as I where them more. They look cute and appear to be very weather proof, which is what I wanted.

Adorable, well-made, and the cozy interior is delightful. Unlike other reviews, I found them true to size and the lining did not slip. Sadly the toe box is too narrow for me so I had to return them.

These boots are super comfy and I really liked them overall. However, they were so loud and squeaky on the floor of my house! My baby is very noise sensitive while she naps, so they had to go back. If you have carpet or don't care about the noise, these are great.

I LOVE the look of these boots. The pewter is a nice and subtle change from regular old black. And they seem like they'd be comfy. However, they felt a little large, so hopefully the next size down will work for me. No half sizes, so we'll see...

Tooooooo big has to return

Cute but hard to get on. Also, they run large so order a size down unless you plan to be wearing really thick socks.

These fit true to size and were comfortable on the inside, but the rubber outer shell does make the boots feel large. I had the same sliding insole issue as other reviewers. The elastic Chelsea boot style is cute, but it lets a little cold air trickle in around the top of the foot and heel as you walk. So close to being a winning stylish and practical winter boot, but not quite there!

I liked that these boots have an insulated lining. They fit pretty decently as well. The bad part is that they squeak really loudly. Like, very very loud. I couldn’t see myself walking around like that. So they went back!

1) the side of one of the shoes came dirty..? 2) rubs on the back of my leg- I now have a cut there that is on its 2nd week of healing. Very disappointed. I thought I had found my perfect winter snow/rain boot, but unfortunately it physically pains me to wear them. :(

The boots have a nice warm lining. But, they are extremely hard to get your foot into. They were very wide and overall too big. Had to return them.

I loved these boots- they were warm! I often wore them without socks due to the soft/cozy lining. They looked great with leggings or my skinny jeans. Last night though, I wore them during a rainstorm/thunderstorm and I walked through a few puddles (not crazy deep either- only an inch or two) and my socks got wet. Today I wanted to wear them because the rain has turned to snow. But, the lining is still wet. I'm so bummed. I know Zappos customer service will make it right, but now I need to spend time searching (again!) for a good boot for the wet weather in MO.

I really wanted to like these but the back of them were too stiff for my legs. The highest part of the shoe would hit right above my ankle and caused my skin to become irritated and I started to bleed. Other than that they were very comfortable and warm but just walking in them for a few minutes hurt. I don't think these are for everyone.

Lining inside boot makes your foot slide around. The top of the boot is too high and rubs against your calves uncomfortably.

It was okay but too heavy for me.
