Inov is an amazing brand. They are all I buy. The toe box gives a lot of splay room.

This is my boyfriend's go to shoe so I bought it in another color. He has wide feet and this shoe is offered in W, and also has plenty of room in the toe box for when he feet slightly swell from exercising. Finding a good fit is a challenge and combined with inov-8 quality, it was an easy decision to get a second pair for him.

Best functional fitness shoe I've used in a decade. Version 2 of Inov-8 f-lite 235 seems to have hit the sweet spot between minimalist and sufficient protection/stability for a wide range of movements, from olympic lifting to shuttle sprints. The design of the first version of 235 just looked silly, like clown shoes or bowling shoes. These have a more traditional design and look great. I hope Inov-8 never changes this version. But of course they will. That is the way of things. In the meantime, stock up. These are great shoes. Slightly wider in the toe box than standard, but for me that is a good thing. I've noted a spot for possible early fraying on the upper, on the outside of each shoe right where the shoe creases with bent toes. I'll keep an eye on it and update if necessary.

Great shoes! Third pair of ions-8's and they continue to impress. Great for short runs, crossfit, and day to day wear. Would recommend to anyone who like a 0 drop and a minimal feel.

I got these for my husband for XFit. Flat shoe that runs true to size. They are not the best for running, but great for cross training.

Awesome almost barefoot shoe. They're not comfortable by design. Being able to train "almost barefoot" without walking around the gym with shoes? Priceless :)

The INOV-8 company makes great products and one can feel the quality instantly when the shoes are worn.

Incredible shoes, I loved the V1s and the V2s are a great improvement. All the things you need in a shoe, nothing extraneous. Provide a great platform for lifting, I rarely put on my lifters now. I have to stop my self from wearing them all day outside of the gym but they look so clean.

The f-lite 235 is my all-time favorite shoe for Crossfit and almost everything else. So, naturally, I got the V2. My only disappointment about the V2 is they run half a size bigger, but Zappos made the exchange easy. The shoe feels like an extension of your foot, but with better security and grip. I recommended them to anybody who like a minimal feel.

I have had several pairs of inov-8s for Crossfit training and like the 235 V2s the best. They have a dense, stable sole that isn't bulky, a wide toe box, and great grip. They are more comfortable for running that other models I've had, and I've found them to be a great balance of minimal yet stable and grippy. I did order a half-size larger than my last pair(235 V1s), and they fit perfectly. I also think they look really cool! I look forward to many more workouts in these shoes.

These seem like great shoes. They definitely fit a half size too large.

These shoes are very comfortable. My only gripe is that they do not last. Both sides on both shoes starting tearing within 3 months of light wear. They need to improve their materials for durability.

Ordered 12 and everything was fine. Unfortunately not quite wide enough mid foot to support my orthotic (hard style).

Well, I don't really like these. Not enough substance to them, and it feels as if the outside of my right foot is a bit off the bed.

Ordered 9 1/2 like my Adidas Boost. They felt at least a full size large. Felt like I has “clown feet”.

Really cheap feeling shoe. Definitely not a $140 shoe. Front of shoe looks weird. Not sure what the company is but if this is their version of a high end shoe, Nike doesn't have to worry.

I've owned many pair of Inov8's and after a few wears the left shoe began to split on the outside. Later on the other shoe split in the same place. These shoes are comfy but the material doesn't hold up as well as the other pairs I've owned. I do like these shoes even with the ripping issue.

Love these shoes but the outside of both shoes have split in the same place. I've had many pair of Inov8's and this is the first pair to rip. Seems they're made of a different material.

This is my sixth or seventh pair of inov-8's. Obviously, I'm a huge fan of the brand and how they make shoes, but these just aren't as good. The left and right arch feel totally different, and the back of the heel feels wrong. I'm hoping that they just need to be broken in as I've only had them for a few weeks now. I love the look, but the feel doesn't live up to the brand.

I couldn’t tell you how these fit because I have been sent the wrong sizes 5 times !! I used to have the older version, would love to try the new ones. Not sure why the correct sizes are online but when they are sent to me I get two sets with the wrong size

Rarely are we bummed with our order, but we were really bummed this time. We searched for shoes to fit a width of 6E. Although the number of choices were limited (we're used to that part), this shoe came up as a 'hit' in our search criteria. Yea! Super excited dude was looking forward to having these for PE class. When they arrived, they were uber narrow for his mega wide feet. There is NO WAY this should have been a hit with the search criteria we entered. So...buyers beware, it is NOT for a really wide foot. And Zappos, can you fix it so that no one else has this kind of experience with a shoe width reflecting that it will accommodate a search criteria when there is no way it will? Thanks!

Spoiling a perfectly good shoe. I've trained CrossFit in 3 successive pairs of Inov-8s, in truth because the Reebok, Nike and NOBULL world of "everyone has fat feet" never fit into my world. And now, unfortunately for me, it seems inov-8 has joined that crowd. While perhaps a wide, WIDE shoe "with room for your toes to spread out" is OK for those that need it or prefer it, this shoe is unusable in training for me. From day 1 felt uncomfortable, big, and long. Little toe rubs, and I mean RUBS the outside edge as it's nowhere near to being up in the toebox. Within a couple of workouts since starting with them I clipped the box on my first box jumps in a WOD, which I haven't done in...months, a year? and only at the end of a workout. Worn about 8-12 times -- I tried, and tried -- and finally had enough. Went back to my older pair. Will try to re-order a 1/2 size smaller (than the previous 3 pairs) to see if the fit is any better but if not will have to return those and eat the other $130 I used on a pair of shoes I'll never wear again. Disappointing that the company would join the crowd.

I've bought several pairs of Ino-v8s in the past. They have always had an issue with durability, but I was hoping their newer WOD specific shoes would be a bit more durable. Unlike the F-lite 195s, etc which tend to rip around the toe, the F-lite 235s began to fall apart at the sole. The sole began to peel after the second time wearing them. As I was traveling with the brand new shoes, I'd hoped that they would last more than a few months with moderate use. The shoes fell about within weeks. Sadly, I've given up on the brand. The shoes are just not designed for heavy use or have quality control issues. This is really unacceptable for shoes that cost $120. One is probably better with a pair of Nike Metcons or Reebok Nanos.
