Color is off—-listing says Grey, the only option is Grey, the picture above is a yellowish/tan and what showed up at my hour is a yellowish/tan color. I would have preferred the grey. The jury is still out as to whether I will keep them. I like that they have a style to them and that they aren’t a pair of boring, plain leather booties like so many pairs are.

I wear a 7.5 so I ordered a 37 and 38 to see which was better. I kept the 38 because I like my booties to have a little wiggle room. I will say that I think the ankle area with the Zipper is going to rub a little so I am planning on getting some of those padded strips to line the inside to prevent rubbing and blistering.

Too much space in ankle and top of arch. Not for skinny feet. Would like straps better if they were on an angle over the toe. Looked like rubber bands or an ace bandage.

Love these shoes. They're comfortable. There's one strip that doesn't fall just right so I do have to adjust on occasion, but overall it's a great shoe

the shoe is cayute and comfy

I love these. I bought size 38 and they fit great. I normally wear size 8 and 8.5. The only thing is that I ordered the gray color but the tan color came, I decided to keep them because they’re also very cute. The shipping is super fast!

These shoes are extremely cute and go with so many things (dresses, skirts, crops, jeans)...I really like them, but I will say the toe area is more pointed than I realized and although I'm a steady 39 in Free People shoes, these seem much tighter/smaller (but the 40's were too big). I kept the 39's and wear them a lot but not if I'm doing a lot of walking around.

3rd pair is charm! My first pair, as soon as I put them on, the zipper bent...ugh. Sent them back , speedy fast, my second pair was the same size but felt 1/2 size too big....sent those back with the intention of giving up if the 3rd pair (1/2 size smaller..) didn’t work. I had all three pairs in and out within 4 days...gosh I love Zappos!! Needless to say...wearing them now...and love them so much! It was such a great deal...I wanted them to work...probably wouldn’t have ever done two returns with any others...

Comfortable toe but because all the structure is in the front of the shoe, hard on a high arch.

WOW! Less than 24 hours for delivery. I love Zappos. Lost Valley Ankle Boot, size 39, in Grey color. Kind of cute, not high-end. You get what you pay for I suppose. I am returning for two reasons, one being that it is NOT grey. It has heavy brown tones and more taupe if anything.The sizing is a little off. It was hard to know which to order and I was reading reviews for a while. The Left shoe was MUCH loser than the right. I know about dominant foot being larger and all that but it usually isnt this prominent. I wouldn't pay full price. Order half size up( this is not an option at Zappos) if you have a normal, not narrow foot shape, toe area is snug.

Great style and color

These are beautiful boots and I love the style. I decided to return the grey because it was more brown than I had hoped. Zappos as always is wonderful about returns. I wear a solid 9 and these felt a half size large. European sizes can be difficult. I ended up getting another pair a half size smaller in a different color.

They were super cute but HUGE! I'm a 7 in everything and that's what I ordered and they were still to big. Fortunately it's easy to return items. ??

I wear between an 8.5 and a 9 so I ordered the 39 in these boots. They fit a little bit lose but with a liner sock they are perfect. The grey color is as pictured, but there is a lot of variance throughout the shoe, so the front/tip of the shoe and the heel are dark grey/brownish, and the top/straps are more of a taupe. But it's a great look overall because if you scuff them or get them dirty it just looks like the style of the boot.

Not very comfortable. Have moderately wide feet. Leather wasn't very soft so didn't think it would stretch very much. Top looked interesting but was too bulky when received. Returning

Very cool shoe that breathes well. Eurpoean shoe so it was a bit narrow for me.

Love the style, narrow at the toes, slight rubbing on the inside of my ankle so I need to wear thin socks with the shoes.

I fell in love with these shoes when I saw them in person. I thought about them for days then decided to buy them. Once I received them I was very excited..however when I wear the shoes the back zipper keeps catching my skin. These shoes are meant to wear with liner socks.I am very disappointed and very sad, I have to return them. If you've never worn Free People shoes/ boots they are great quality and stiff at first and usually break in after a few wears. I don't want to discourage you to buy them as they are adorable.... They simply didn't work for my feet.

Not worth the price. I wear this a lot. Its comfy and the style is cute, but it does not feel like a nearly $200 shoe.

It's a unique and cute style, but the straps across the top rubbed my foot in an odd way, and the shoe became too uncomfortable to keep. Sadly, I will be returning the shoe soon.

These shoes are well made and really beautiful. Unfortunately, the toe is very pointed and narrow, not comfortable so I'll have to return them.

I LOVE zappos service! But unfortunately this was a light taupe color (I ordered the grey) and I really wanted a grey. I don't know how to assign a star rating to this. Otherwise shoe feels good...just wish it was the right color.

wore twice and stitching started to come apart

The whole center section of this shoe is not leather. They were way too big and not well made at all. I can’t say whether they were comfortable or not because they were too big to try out.
