Bought these for my grandson's 9th birthday in beginning of April 2017, and it is now only the beginning of May and 1 shoe no longer lights. He has only worn the shoes 4-6 times, and was saving them for special times. Especially at this price, and for an item specifically directed toward children, I believe that the shoe lights should have held up better.

Bought these for my son's birthday and 1 shoe quit working after 3 days. Won't light up and won't charge. Exchanged them and the same thing happened again. Will be taking them back again.

First our order was delayed without notification due to website issues. Only once I called was I told of the delay. This was a birthday present for my 9yr old daughter. She wanted these more than anything. We followed the directions and charged the shoes. One shoe wouldn't charge. We thought perhaps it was already charged as the lights worked. An hour after wearing the shoes with the light on, that one shoe quit working! When we tried to charge it, it again did not work. This shoe arrived broken!!!

I am on the phone again with Customer Care, second pair of these shoes, both sets the right shoe does not charge. My daughter wore this pair 2 times. Since they are so popular I have had to have both pairs shipped to me by going into a store and having that store call another store in another state to have them shipped to me. 2 pairs of shoes 3 times worn. Several hours of my time and had to go buy another pair of shoes to wear while we are returning and waiting on shoes. Also don't bother emailing customer service, I sent them an email on 4/3/17 and still have not received a response other than the standard do not reply response that said they got my message.

Bought these in black for my son is loved it he loved it when time to charge after a week he wore them I plugged it in one was charging and the other was not so I was highly upset because these sneakers not cheap. My experience may not be your but I'm not trying to discourage any one from buying and get their own experience. I took it back to the store and get a refund. I would like them to look into the manufacturer and it's warranty.

I bought one pair & the left shoe kept shorting out with the LEDs. I returned these shoes & ordered another pair of the same kind. I am having the same problem with these shoes. I do not want to go through the hassle of returning these for a second time.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter, after 1use the left shoe wouldn't light up anymore. Instructions are to only charge the shoes for 6 hours, so we would set a timer to avoid over-charging. Even so, we only got 1 wear out of the left shoe before it stopped working.

I bought these shoes for my son's 5th birthday, this was the only gift he wanted. The instructions were easy enough and I charged both shoes prior to him wearing them. No problem. We went out a few times and the shoes worked fine and lit up from the one charge. When I proceeded to charge the shoes a second time, only one shoe blinked red. I did everything from switch chargers to look for wire disconnections, nothing. Then the shoe that WAS charging, stopped blinking red after about 25 minutes. Neither shoe will now turn on or light up. I paid a lot of money for these shoes and I have a very disappointed 5 year old. These shoes cost too much to be such duds. I am very upset.

I bought a pair of energy light shoes for my 6 year old. They didn't even last a week before the lights quit working. I then emailed Skechers to see about a refund and never got a response. Bad quality and bad customer service. NEVER AGAIN!

I bought these for my son's 5th birthday as he has been begging for them for months. He has only worn them a handful of times in the month that we've had them. One of the shoes will no longer charge or light up. We've tried switching USB in hopes of getting it to charge, but no luck. HUGE disappointment!

My son loved these shoes but they have been a nightmare since i bought them at the store. They wont charge at all and i look and one of the charging ports on the left sneaker is completely broken. They are very hard to clean. They light witout you having to push the button it is not good quality at all.

Not good at all. These shoes are faulty!!! Lights turn on and off sometimes on their own. The charging adaptors are hard to plug in. Do not recommend at all.

My son got a pair for Christmas. His light has been out since January. I need to exchange but now I'm hearing you won't honor an return after 45 days? You know these shoes have issues and I need to be able to exchange these.

I brought these shoes for my 7 year old son. We received the the shoes about a week and a half ago. My son was thrilled to get the shoes because it was a surprise for him to receive the shoes. He had wore the shoes several timedays and treasure them. He really think they are cool. Now here where I am not happy. I woke up this morning (Sunday March 12, 2017) to a sad little boy with weeping eyes because the shoes sole lights stop llightin up. We have charged the shoe and still not working. He has been very careful not to walk in water, so it is hard to understand why the shoes stop working, but it does not make no sense that the kind of money we paid for the shoes and they only worked for a week and a half. Sad that I can not make my son smile because I can not fix his shoes.

I'm about to return my 2nd pair in less than a month. On both pair, the lights malfunctioned within a week of purchase. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. Too bad because we love the look of them.

Purchased 3 different pair. 1 pair a retailer and 2 pair directly from Skechers.com and all were a bust. 1 show wouldn't charge on first pair received so returned. 2nd and 3rd pair 1 shoe stopped working in 2 and 1 week respectively. Don't waste your money or your time. They will break your kids heart.

The shoes stopped charging after 2 weeks. Emailed Skechers a week ago about it and have not heard from them yet. I would not buy these shoes again and would not recommend them to anybody.
