I'm about to return my 2nd pair in less than a month. On both pair, the lights malfunctioned within a week of purchase. This is clearly a manufacturing defect. Too bad because we love the look of them.

Purchased 3 different pair. 1 pair a retailer and 2 pair directly from Skechers.com and all were a bust. 1 show wouldn't charge on first pair received so returned. 2nd and 3rd pair 1 shoe stopped working in 2 and 1 week respectively. Don't waste your money or your time. They will break your kids heart.

The shoes stopped charging after 2 weeks. Emailed Skechers a week ago about it and have not heard from them yet. I would not buy these shoes again and would not recommend them to anybody.

I purchased three pair of these shoes. One pair has a shoe that does not light up anymore after three days. I hope this does not happen to the other two pair. Now I have a sad child with only one shoe that lights up. That's a lot of money for something that would stop working that soon. I thought they could at least get lights through the summer.

I bought 2 pair of the Energy Lights for my daughter. On the SECOND day, the pair I'm reviewing had one that wouldn't come on when charging, it turns red when charging. I assumed it must still be charged but the next day she turned them on and the one didn't stay on for 10 minutes. We've had them two weeks and NONE of them come on when charging and half the time we can't even get them to come on at all!!! I am looking into returning BOTH pair as we speak. It was ridiculous how fast TWO PAIR started messing up. I don't recommend buying a pair.

I don't recommend buying a pair at all and I love Skecher's normally but NOT the Energy Lights!

I ordered THREE pair of these "light up" shoes. (My last pair being from Zappos). All three were defective. First pair was missing lights in the front. Second pair was "lost" in the mail. Third pair (from zappos) went crazy after one charge and wouldn't turn off. I do not recommend these shoes to anyone. Still have a lot of kinks to work out for the type of $$. Kuddos to Zappos customer service though. They were top notch and handled the problem with the last pair very promptly and effectively. Thank you.

MY 6 YEARS OLD SON LOVE THEM, BUT FROM ONE MOMENT TO ANOTHER ONE OF THE SHOES DO NOT TURN ON THE LIGHTS AND DO NOT ACCEPT THE LOAD, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO RETURN THEM BECAUSE WE ARE OUTSIDE THE USA ,HE ONLY USED THEM FOR NO LAST THEN A MONTH THE SHOES WERE NOT CHEAP.
ANYTHING I CAN DO? WE BOUGHT IT ON THE LINCOLN ROAD STORE.

I purchased shoes and to get them and one shoe did not light up. Contacted Skechers via email and it didn't resolve anything. I have to send shoes bk at my own cost. Guess they don't check shoes to see if that work or not. Then I'm not sure if they r gonna refund my money after I send them back. My daughter is very sad Bc the shoes that she really wanted from Santa didn't work out not once but twice.

The S Light Energy Light sneakers in black appear cool and stylish but unfortunately when my order arrived, the right sneaker was damaged. It won't light up or accept a charge. I'm assuming there is a faulty wire within the shoe.

After the second day that my son wore the shoes the lights stopped working. We charged them and nothing. I would like to know if there is anything I can do to either get my money back, credit or exchange them. Or who can i contact to see what can be done. The whole point was that they would light up, but they don't.

My children never had an opportunity to wear the product. I was so disgusted with the customer service received on the date of purchase that I instantly returned the shoes upon receipt. I will NEVER shop at Sketchers or purchase a Sketchers product again.

Do not buy these! They are popular with the kids and I got my son a pair. They fit great and he loved them. He got them right before Thanksgiving. One week before Christmas the soles had separated from the shoes underneath, same pattern on both feet. Then they would not charge anymore. He is disappointed and they were expensive for shoes that last three weeks.
