Stitching fell apart after 2 weeks do not buy this boot

Already falling apart and only been a few months

I LIKE BOOTS, THEY ARE COMFORTABLE FOR WORK... THE ONLY THING THEY ARE NOT AS SLIP-RESISTANT AS I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE. ALMOST SLIPPED UH FEW TIMES, LOL! NOT A COMPLAINT JUST A FACT... GRATEFUL TO HAVE BOOTS NONETHELESS!

It's only been 4 days since I got the boots in but I practically haven't taken them off since I got them (trying to break them in). These boots feel super sturdy. I don't believe I'll have any issues with twisting my ankle in them or having anything puncture the material. The clasps are all metal too so I don't have to worry about any plastic ones snapping. I got this boot for doing conservation work and besides the weight of the steel toe (I wish they had a comp toe version of this), I think they'll do just fine. For any ladies out there researching this boot, I got a 7M (I'm an 8.5 in women's) and it has about a half inch of free space. Men's boots are wider than women's for sure. I put a heel-half insole to soak up some of the space and that made it cozy enough that my feet don't slide all over inside the boot.

The fit and size was as expected. The boots have a nice thick sole and good tractions. My ankle always feels sturdy and with inserts you can have great arch support. My complaints with these boots after having them for 3 months now is that seams are coming apart. I hike about 6-10 miles a day just 4 days a week through woods and dunes doing conservation work and they've been doing alright until this past week when I noticed them coming undone on one side. I don't know how much longer they'll last and am looking for newer, better boots since these ones couldn't even last 3 months without some repair. Decent otherwise but can't take a beating.

Side came apart right at first. Soles wore through within months. I Like 2nd shift much better.

It is the most uncomfortable I got these as a substitute for my favorite pair and these I would only wear maybe once a week

The shoes felt ok however it was larger then what I usually wear, so put inserts that I got from Zappos. I wore to work and by mid day I was hurting on the sides of my feet. I had to walk gingerly to get through the rest of the day. I would like to return and get a different pair of shoes. Please.
