I ordered them size xl. Size larger than I usually do. Happy I did so.

The extra cushion goes a long way for the higher distance hikes. I think the shorter distances are great for the ultra light, but I wouldnt risk it for longer distances because the material is so thin that you risk rubbing, which risks blisters. I think the high performance is the go to, you wont get blisters because the socks still form well enough to your feet to prevent them!

These are my go-to summer socks. They fit the foot perfectly and provide significant cushioning. I always walk on trails in large public parks. The quarter crew keeps leaves and trail debris off my skin and out of my sneakers, and the pure white color makes it easy to check for ticks.I love them.

Seem like well-made socks, but they don't work for me. Too slippery! Might be good for someone with sweaty clammy feet, but my dry feet slide around in them, making them rather uncomfortable to wear.

Overall, I think these socks are well made--although I don't think I'd buy them again for 2 reasons: 1) even though they're supposed to be seamless, I can still feel the area where the seams are, and 2) the price. However, they're comfortable and seem durable.

I have purchased features in the past at my favorite running shoe store. I am 71 years young and have competed in triathlons and trained year round for 19 years. Socks and shoes are very important and features fit the job! They cushion my feet in the right places and provide support and make running more enjoyable (if it can be, not my favorite part of triathlons!) Just last Saturday February 17th I did a 5k with my 5 year old beagle Gracie in 16 degrees!!

I am a runner and have tried so many different socks to get rid of blisters and these are the absolute best. I used to get horrible blisters on the inside of my foot between my arch and big toe and haven't got any with these. I bought one pair to try out but will be going back to buy a pack they are so amazing.
