I've been looking for a flat shoe with arch and metatarsal support for running errands and the occasional short walk. I especially liked this style of slip-on sneaker but haven't been able to find anything with enough support (I've had problems with my feet since turning 60 and I've recently found out that I have arthritis in my kneecap, which can be aggravated by walking). I have recently gotten some Hoka One Ones which have substantial cushioning and stabilizing soles for longer walks and hikes and love them, but they are not a shoe you want to wear all day as they are too clunky. Since my feet are somewhat wider than average, I took the suggestion of several reviewers and went 1/2 size up to 8.5 and I'm glad I did. The 8.5s are perfect. Not too long and the toe box is comfortably wide enough. Arch and metatarsal support are great, especially in this cute flat shoe. While these aren't the cushiest shoes, the removable inserts do have some cushioning in addition to the arch support and metatarsal pad. I'm glad that the Taos inserts work well for me because they do take up a lot of room inside the shoe and I'm not sure my usual orthotic inserts would fit correctly if I substituted them. I walked around the office in them first to make sure I wanted to keep them, and then put them to the test: my lunchtime walk around town without socks, since I didn't have any with me. No blisters, no sore spots, no heel issues and enough cushioning and support that my feet feel just fine. Keepers!

Finally!! As a flat-footed gal, it is next to impossible for me to find cute slip-ons like these that have great arch support. BUY THEM. BUY THEM NOW. I normally wear a size 8.5, and these ran true-to-size.

These are great. I got the khaki color and they have a washed look to them which I didn’t notice in the pictures at first but I liked them anyways. Really comfortable and I can wear these all day.

A favorite pair of shoes. I pretend they go with everything because I love them so much.

After reading the reviews I ordered a half size up from my normal 9.5. They were way too big. Luckily, my wife loved them and they fit her, so we're keeping them. She wore them around her office all day and said they were awesome. They have way more support than other shoes of this style.

I liked these shoes, they made me feel like summertime. The size seemed just right - I found my heel slipping a bit in them but I think that could be cured with a tongue pad. Ultimately the color on these was lighter than what I had in mind so I decided on a another pair but I would definitely revisit these come closer to summer.

I was so surpised by how cute these look on. Very lightweight with amazing arch support, streamlined, cool, and comfortable. They also are much more stylish on than they appear online. They go great with cut-off jean shorts or ankle jeans. They are low-profile and make legs and feet look slim. These really help if you have any kind of back, knee, or foot pain. Very stabilizing. Perfect for walking around in hot Florida weather.

These have been my favorite shoes for the last 12 months. Perfect for Florida weather! It's definitely true to it's size - I am 7.5 and ordered 7.5. Very comfortable, great support and stylish looking.

Love these shoes! First bought them in soft gray and have now added the charcoal. I put Vionic inserts for adequate arch support in most of my shoes - not necessary in these. Love the slip on style too.

These are amazing shoes! The minute I put them on I knew I'd be buying more. They are cute, really well-constructed with heavy duty canvas, and have great arch support. I have sensitive feet and always wear inserts otherwise I get shooting pain in my feet. With these I don't need inserts. In fact, I walked 5 miles the other day in them with absolutely zero problems or pain! I bought them for my 83 year old mom who has a lot of foot problems. Now she looks sporty and she's comfortable! Love these!

I purchased this in the charcoal lace color in my usual size of 8M and found the fit of the shoe to be just slightly too small. I am ordering a half size up, 8.5M, in hopes for a better fit. With this said, the cushioning of these shoes are outstanding and I love the fabric of the charcoal lace color.

This shoe is very cute and comfortable--I feel I could wear it immediately and not worry, because the insole is so substantial. The only reason I'm returning them is that I like the look of the Sperry Topsiders better (they have a thicker bottom than the Taos). These are a bit too flat, plus the white is a kind of yellowy white I don't like as much as plain white.

They are cute but a little too narrow for my feet. I have a wide foot and these didn’t come in wide. They are soft and comfortable other than the width issue. Sadly, sending them back.

Love these. So comfy and cute, I can actually walk around all day and my feet aren’t killing me! I’ve washed them in the washing machine and set them out to dry, so even after a bunch of wear, they look great!

These are great little slip ons. I didn't wear them so I'm not sure how they will feel after wearing them for a day. Decided to trade in for the lighter gray color.

I ordered these a year ago and was happy to see them still available— I had to get a second pair. They are the perfect slip on for running errands, taking a quick walk, or dashing out to grab lunch. I’m a true size 9 and they fit perfectly and are super comfortable. They’re also fairly durable as I’m now using my original pair when I do yard work.

I'm most often a 7.5 but an 8 in these was perfect. Super comfy with a good foot bed and a bit of arch support because the foot bed curves up at the arch. They are way cute. I've got several colors.

I have a narrow heel and usually wear a 9 medium, though slip ons are usually too wide. Had to order up a half size and with a thin sock these feel great! For someone with a truly medium width foot they would prob feel tight.

These shoes feel like a dream. Comfortable and the support is amazing! I need to order more of this brand bc these shoes are all I want to wear right now!

Ordered 1/2 size up as suggested by other reviewers- worked out perfectly. I love these shoes! I also have the moc star which are super comfortable. Great purchase!!

Taos shoes and Earth shoes are all i can wear anymore. They give my old (77 years) feet support and a good fit. I usually wear 8.5 or 9 depending on whether or not I wear socks...they are perfect for walking the dog and around the house or to grocery. If they had a wee bit more cuteness I would buy another pair. I have two pair of Star tennis shoes and they have the same comfort but the added cuteness factor.

Love these shoes - now have them soft gray and charcoal. Great support and love the slip on style.
