I wanted some 'fluffy' socks to help relieve some metatarsal pain I was having. These are very padded in the mid-foot and heel area so they offer foot pain relief. They'd be great for anyone wanting more cushion, not just to ameliorate foot pain. I bought one pair to try out; plan to buy more. Because they are thick, you have to have wiggle room in your shoe. They do a nice job.

These socks are not "no show" unless you are wearing above-ankle boots.

very cute color and style and size small is perfect for me however the area under arch isn't padded. i prefer the styles with padding under the entire foot.

This is the most comfortable pair of socks you'll find, BUT it does not last! I own many pairs of these socks, and within a year, I wore a hole in every pair. Because it costs so much, I have learned to darn the socks, but gosh for $14 a pair, you'd hope they last longer than that! :(
