so cute, not comfortable :(

These felt clog like, because the sole is thick under the ball area of the foot, so when you walk, your toes drop off and seem to propel you. Interesting. I returned these because there's nothing to keep my orthodics from falling out the back.

The sole of the shoes is MUCH TOO HARD. It feels like I'm walking on concrete. The soft padding is insufficient.

Cute shoe! would work with or without socks. love that you can adjust upper to fit your instep. Sent back to zappos because the pillow like liner makes a puffy sound when you walk. Sound would probably stop as soon as you've worn the shoe enough to flatten the sock liner/insole, but until then you might be hearing little puffy sounds with each step. manufacturer needs to rethink this liner/sole combination. thanks again zappos for the great selection!

These are super cute but there's a lip around the heel that rubs against the bottom of my foot, which is certainly not acceptable for walking. The toe box is very loose, so I cannot go up a size. Returning reluctantly.

This shoe is really comfortable , however...where the cutout petals are close to the edge, the leather has torn:(

I'm so disapointed this shoe did not fit. the width is great for wide feet which I have however the length runs very short. I normally wear a 36 and my foot hangs off the back in these. Will try a larger size shoe is very cute and I'm sure would be very comfortable.

Just got these today and I'm excited to wear them for work. They are cute. Tried them with my usual socks, they were snug. Took off my socks and the shoes fit perfectly.

I almost didn't purchase these shoes based on the only other review, but I am really glad I did. They are very cute and comfortable, exactly what I was looking for. I normally wear an 8-1/2 and first purchased a 39, I did have to return them for a 40. Not sure it was the shoe or the European sizing,

These shoes aren't designed to be worn with socks so it was a bummer when the inner sole started deteriorating after less than a month of wearing them. My big toe dug in and created a hole and they became grimy and uncomfortable. Yuck!

Did not care for the material, too stiff

Love these shoes! But I am a true size 8 and I needed a size 9. First I ordered the 7.5-8. Too small. Then I ordered the 8. Still too small. Then I ordered a 9. Perfect. Order way... up.

These run small but they are really cute. I can feel the stitching on the insole which I don't like but I'm going to order another pair one size up and give them a try because I think they will be comfortable if they are not so tight. Like other reviews, the fake buckle is a mishp on L'Artiste's part but I like the style enough that I'm willing to overlook that flaw if they are comfortable.

These are cute shoes, and I'm sad they didn't work out. But right after I put them on and did a little test walk, I immediately heard the most ridiculously loud popping sounds coming from each shoe. It was funny how loud these sounds were. They weren't super comfy on top (can't remember if it's real leather or not, but it was stiff and chafed my feet a little). The heel was a little high for me but overall the shoe was really cute. Loved the aqua color.

I have absolutely loved these shoes for their style and fit, but after one year of careful and relatively infrequent wear, the sole on one of them cracked clear through at the ball of the foot. All materials age, but I think the manufacturer should have done better product analysis and testing to select something that does not degrade to the point of failure in such a very short time. I have plenty of shoes that are over 10 years old and holding up well. True, some have had minor repairs, but this particular damage is too severe to remedy..

These are super cute, but they arrived with scuff marks. The inspector could not have missed this, so disappointing.

really difficult to walk in

This shoe was perfect and so comfortable for three months - and then it fell apart and caused blisters and pain. They are way too expensive to only last three months.

Love the look. Did not feel comfortable at all. Hard insole. No shock absorbing or cushion for the heel. Not flexible. But very cute.

The fit was good, but the finish on the leather had major scuffs on it after 10 minutes of simply walking indoors in my house to see if they will comfortable. For the price, these shoes should last a bit, instead they are showing that they will not wear well at all. Bummer because I liked the style so much.
