I love Reiker shoes and own four pairs. This bootie had so much going for it. The leather looks great in person, feels soft. The wool felt at the top of the boot looks better in person, and it is the same material the boot is lined in. Which is wonderful! You get the feeling of a warm blanket hugging your feet when you slip these on. Ideal for a person who always has cold feet (me). But I agree with the other reviewer. The heel design is just OFF. I put these boots on and made one lap of my home, after one lap my socks had fully come off inside the boot because there was so much slippage. I do have narrow heels, but they aren't THAT narrow. This bootie might be ideal for someone with thick heels or thick ankles or an adoration of thick socks. But it's not for me. A real shame because other than the heel, these would have been a keeper.

Liked the look of this, but there wasn't enough curvature in the heel and my heel would slide up and down a little as I walked. You can tighten the strings a little, but it's not so comfortable. Otherwise seems like a great shoe.

I agree with the previous reviews about these boots. They are pretty, soft and really comfortable until you try to walk in them. The heel slips way too much, and you can't tighten them much with the laces.

I was unfamiliar with this brand but took a chance because they looked so smart. The other dress boots in my closet collected dust this fall because I chose every outfit based on these boots. The leather is divine. Soft and supple but not delicate. The wool at the top keeps breezes at bay and adds a rustic touch. The outer sole allows enough traction that if you got caught in the rain you wouldn't slip. While the footbed isn't cushy, my feet don't tire after a few laps at the mall. I love how slender my foot looks in these boots. I will take great care of these beautiful boots as I plan to enjoy them for years to come.

Love these shoes. They are so cute and comfortable, I bought a second pair in different color. I have been searching for, seems like ages, a pair of boots that are comfortable. Finally found them. Made my day.

Function, form and I am complimented on them each time I wear them which is now my #1 in the rotation. Not perfect for all day walking as the insole is average but with a great sole and warm style they can dress up a flannel or dress down a tweed jacket and jeans.
