I LOVE THIS SHOE!!! I would buy this in every color if they had my size!! This has great arch support, plenty of room in the toe box, and super comfy to walk in. I don't wear heels or even wedges but these are so comfy that they are my only pair I own! The style is nice but not as nice as I'd like...the braiding design of the strap is what makes it less fancy/nice in my opinion.

I love these shoes. They are wider than most (for a medium width) which is why I chose them. They fit my mildly wide foot fantastically. They are also SOOOO comfortable. I love the arch support. I want more but they are out of stock in the other colors in my size. I will wait until they arrive. A definite go-to for those who are on their feet alot and with chronic foot pain.

These shoes are so comfortable that I immediately unloaded about a decade's worth of shoe purchased in the unfulfilled hope that they could be comfortable. The shoe gives the height you might want with a dress or trousers, but isn't as severe of an incline as it might otherwise be if it didn't have all the great padding on the ball. So, it offers arch support and metatarsal cushioning in one. Also, I think it's pretty fashionable looking for a "comfortable" shoe. I purchased these in my standard size, USA 7, but when I went to Aetrex website to try ordering other styles, a 7 was too small.

These are some very nice shoes and I love them but they just don't fit me. The toe area really bothers my big toe. I tried sizing up but that didn't work either so now I am really disappointed but i will continue my search for something with a heel that I can wear all day.

This is a cute shoe but I need a wider width than this. Also, I didn't see it in the picture but the arch between the black heel and toe is visible and the cork look. Seems odd on a dress shoe but it does give very good arch support. Have to return them, though.

This was a very nice shoe, but I had to return it as it was too high for me. I am not that stable on my feet and did not want to take a chance that I could fall.

Going up 1/2 a size was the best decision for me. They feel wonderful & even though they are Medium width, they feel as though they could be Wide toe box width. There is ample space in there, which is the biggest issue I have with all shoes. Now if only they had Metatarsal support like Aetrex inserts, i’d Be in heaven. Though seriously, a couple additional color splashes couldn’t hurt. Thank you Zappos for being so patient with me & my feet & the many, many returns it takes to get a pair that fits.

I ordered the 38, which I think is more on the 7.5 side than the 8 as it rubbed the back of my foot. I had to send them back, but ordered the 39 with hopes they will fit better.

I really wanted this shoe. I normally wear a 7 in a closed toe shoe. A 7 was too loose in the heal & toe. Which was so surprising with my wide foot. I usually have to go up a 1/2 size, but I went down. Unfortunately their next size lower is a 6-61/2. That was too small. The shoe is comfortable & the arch is great but sadly just didn't work for me in either size.

I originally purchased this item in a smaller size. I liked the style but needed some extra "wiggle room". The larger size offers tons of room in the toe box and the strap is long enough to go around my ankle comfortably. The wedge is a nice height with comfortable support.

Cute shoe. I have wide feet and wear orthotics and the width and arch support in this shoe are adequate. It’s a nice option to wear with skirts or dresses at work. With that said, the quality does not match the price. Within the first 2 or 3 months of wearing these regularly I had to get the heels repaired on both (the material started pulling away from the edge of the heel and the heel itself started to peel off) and the Velcro replaced on one. The leather started to look scuffed very quickly. I really hate how these orthopedic shoe companies charge so much for the comfort factor but don’t bother to use quality materials or construct the shoes so they won’t look years old in a matter of weeks.

These were very attractive shoes and the leather and finishing seemed to be of a nice quality. They are made in China. Unfortunately for me, they have an ANTI-MICROBIAL treatment on them. I did not see this fact mentioned in Zappos description, but I called the manufacturer, who confirmed this. It also said it on the box once I received the shoes. I am trying to reduce the amount of chemicals in my life, so for me, things like anti-microbial treatment, scotchguard, odor control and the like is a deal breaker. So I never even tried the shoes on, and I would not have ordered them had I realized they were treated. I am bummed, they were cute and appeared to have good arch support and an anatomic style footbed, which is hard to find, but the chemicals made it a no-go for me. I have ordered a similar shoe made by OTBT called 'companion' to try, maybe those will work for me.

These are really stylish and I love Aetrex. But the heel was too high for me, personally. I need a lower height. I do recommend them.

I ordered an 8, when normally I would order an 8.5. They fit just right, but I think the leather at the heel would cause a blister eventually. They're much darker than the picture--much more brown, less gray. They also looked much more frumpy on me than I thought they would. The leather was very soft and the support felt good, but I am sending them back because the back of the wedge heel is so narrow--I felt wobbly in them, and like I could easily twist my ankle. It seems like an mismatched heel to have on a shoe that is marketed as comfortable. I knew it when I ordered them, but I thought maybe the would feel more sturdy when I put them on.

I too found the shoe to have noticably too much space across the top above toe area - it was a visible gap. Shoes are light weight and cute. The leather will show scuffs quickly and fade at heel.

The shoe is beautifully crafted, but my feet spilled out of the sides. Also, the cork footbed is quite visible from the side.

I discounted the overall star rating to 4 because of a few thibgs. My first pair had to be returned due to faulty velcro on the ankle strap. Because of the unbelievable comfort, I gave them a second chance. The style is cute and they are amazingly supportive. I can stand or walk un them for hours, even with thr heel height. Caution to those with moderate to low arches....these may be hard on you. I have high arches and they are great, but for anyone with lower, they may not be so comfortable.Overall, in love. Wish they would swap the velcro for a buckle though.

Love the look but they were very stiff around the ankle and rubbed on my ankle bones.

I originally bought this in the 9/9.5 size. Love the look and I think the arch support will be great but it was just a tad too small. I'm realizing that I need to bump up a full size in heels. I will be returning my original pair and have an order in for larger. Fingers crossed. These are really cute "everyday work shoes"!

My wife loved the shoes. They were comfortable and helped her plantar fasciitis. 4 months later they fell apart. The Velcro on the strap quit working and the sole wore really quickly on the heel. Terrible for an expensive shoe.

Horrible shoes! After wearing less than 20 times one shoe collapsed so it is a full 3/8 inch shorter than the other.
