Great quality. Very comfortable and fit true to size.

The other brand was a very light shoe but that's 'cause it uses much less material. This NB shoe is substantial and not topped with mesh. The top is solid which keeps the weather out. Not a trivial thing where I live. And this shoe is the only one I could find that comes in 6E. No other brand has a 6E which I have come to need. It would be nice if NB could make other 6Es. And with the other brand you can't remove the insole for cleaning. Any NB shoe I've ever had you can always remove the insole for cleaning. Because of foot problems this is now the only shoe I can wear so I got two pair. One white pair for summer and a black pair for winter.

Great overall support of my foot in these shoes while I'm in the gym. Love New Balance for their quality shoes in wider fits.

The 857v2 is worth the price. Excellent fit in length and width (14 2E). I use them for weight training and cardio. I added the high impact insole for additional comfort and protection

I use these shoes for work. They support my feet and provide plenty of cushion at the heal. They are comfortable as soon as you put them on.

Love new balance products from the first pair of shoes i purchased, would recommend to all my friends.

Have been using New Balance shoes since my doctor recommended the brand. They last and are comfortable.

I didn't think I'd find a XX wide unless it were hideous. Great fit for my width, but if your on the higher side of XX wide, it will probably be snug. I noticed the inner heel fabric would bunch up when you're putting them on. Lengthwise there's 1/2 inch to spare, so a bit disappointing.

Comfortable and they look great. Can be worn to work.

Love this shoe and it's been my go-to for years V1 & V2! It gets 5 Stars!!! NB.... not so much! You are still out of stock on X-Wide widths and it's tough to keep loyal when NB can't deliver. Not even a way to have the website let me know when they'll be available or to notify me.....

Every day wear for trips , shopping, working and gym.

I wear these shoes to workout at the gym and for casual wear. Very comfortable!

The 857's are perfect. I now have 2 pair - black and white. Website and cust service BAD. Check-out process said I couldn't use my rewards after letting me redeem them and no cust service reply after requesting reward points be reinstated. Looks like I lost out on their value! Experience making me reconsider product.

These shoes feel good and look good. No complaints.

I have wide feet and tall arches. These are just about the only shoes I can order that have a comfortable fit. This is my second pair of 857's and I'll probably buy them again when these wear out.

These are my work shoes. I walk between 6.5-9 miles a day. Very comfortable.

Been using this model going back before they added 'v2' to the 857. Well constructed, hold up reasonably well. Works great with my customized inserts, please don't change the fit!

2nd pair still have first pair, 12 years old. Got them for training but wear them everyday. Comfortable, stable, best value shoe I have owned

This makes about the 8th pair of the 857's that I have ordered over the last 8-10 years. I use these as general daily shoes until they get kinda beat up looking where I then down grade to my working around the house, ranch, deer lease, etc. daily beaters. They typically last a long time with a lot of miles put on them under some pretty heavy duty use. I still have some of the original ones from 8 or so years ago, that are beat up pretty bad, but still very solid uppers and soles that I merely add new insoles and/or laces.

I have very wide feet and have an issue with my feet rolling out when I walk. These shoes are the only ones I have found that will support my feet from rolling out thanks to the Rollbar built into them. These are the only shoes I have worn now for the last two or three years if not longer.

Great to have the shoe I want qiuck and correc.

Wear everyday. Buy new and knowing that they fit, is a wonderful thing

I walk six to ten miles a day in kitchens and this is / was the best shoe for supination. I was told it is no longer available in 12.5 normal width. I was purchasing four pair a year , I am frustrated on where and what brand to purchase now.
