Great pair of Brooks. My son wears only Adrenalines to run. He likes the 17's more than the 16's because of increased support/comfort. Very cool design too.

I’ve had and enjoyed Brooks Adrenaline shoes for many years. However, the pair of shoes (more specifically the left shoe) I received on my last order had a defect in the seam at the tongue-upper that digs into the top of my foot... not good. I give them four stars because this is the first time I’ve experienced disappointment with Adrenalines. If the next pair I get has a defect then I’ll be looking for a new manufacturer.

Looks nice, low cut so doesn't rub ankle but no way extra wide. bought 4E feels like 2E. Tried to find a replacement for NB but no go.

These have a decent good foot on the foot, with enough room in the forefoot, but they are just too firm / too hard. They may be supportive, but there is so much shock/impact that I can only walk around a short while. The sizing seems fine, size 11(D), just too firm / too hard and the heel height (12 mm) seems to high for my liking.

Too Short and a little narrow. I ordered a 4E (biggest made) and it was a bit narrow. Never had a problem with 4E and Brooks before. Very disappointed.

I am in the army therefore running is paramount to staying in shape. Brooks remains at the top of my list for comfort and overall support. I love this shoe and plan on purchasing the same shoe again. This is a must buy.

This is a great running sneaker, if you can get the right size. I got a 9 1/2, which is my normal size. Turns out I needed an 11. Runs a bit small so order a size or so up.

Cushy & comfortable. One of the few small, wide shoes that fit (7, 4E) without being too wide. Switched from Asics because they have become too narrow.

This shoe has a fair amount going for it, but did not quite fit the bill for me. The tongue is not gusseted, the plastic reinforcement area near the eye stays at the throat of the shoe fold inward, creating friction against the top of the foot. The plastic toe protector rubs into the small toes, if it was slightly less pointed in the toe box this problem would be eliminated, the plastic straps dig in slightly against the outside of the foot. I have 4E feet with a wide forefoot and midfoot. I really wanted this shoe to work but all the small details added up to me not being able to use it. Seems like it works for a fair amount of people though.

Good shoes. Fit well. Worn out a bit quicker then I would have liked.

The blue is looks even better in person. I loved the shoe but they EE was a little too narrow. It felt more like just an E. Great shoe but too narrow.

After 5 years of walking on Asics I thought I would try Brooks Very bad decision on my part, after my first day in Brooks I started getting pain in my foot near the arch but on the upper of the foot.kept walking in them for about a week and I am nursing a very hurtful foot. The Brooks have hobbled me, and I am now walking on my old Asics Does Zappos refund shoes that have made me lame? If so I will but Asics. I do not recommend Brooks

I had worn the Adrenaline NYC 2015 and loved, loved, loved them, but couldn't find again, so tried these. I wished they would have worked. I do not run, but wear tennis shoes most the time, and these were firmer and a bit clunker from heal to toe than before. I have a wide forefoot and narrow heal (female) and found the male shoes accommodate me better, and with my custom made insoles for arch support. The styles this year didn't help encourage me to keep these.

I'll always shop here as the prices are good and it's an easy check out process. I need a 2E width and need to order Brooks and you always have a wide width available. I gave only 4 stars because you tend to run out of wide widths in some styles very quickly. This means I'm limited to only a few available colors. It's no problem as I'll be a returning customer.

I bought these shoes for my every day work shoes. I am a Physical Therapist and will spend 8+ hours daily on my feet and a lot of walking between buildings, etc., at the hospital I work at. The Bad (that's right I am starting my review with bad, {which is very little}). The top of the shoe tongue has a lace guide that is off to the side, versus in the center. I find this annoying it makes lacing up the shoes slower. I would imagine this was maybe done to prevent the shoes from loosening during a run or throughout the day. Aesthetically, the space that sits over the great toe has a clear plastic coating (I assume to prevent the big toe from wearing out the mesh)I could go without that feature. The GOOD. These shoes broke in so nicely, just a day or two and I feel like I have owned them for a couple of months. Nice cushioning but still with some energy return, good stability of my heel in the shoe. Brooks have often had the reputation of being low depth, but these feel perfect for my foot type. The mesh is very breathable. The tongue of the shoe is a good thickness, I have never felt the laces cutting into the front of the ankle. Nice flexible mid foot on the shoe, the tread is nicely designed as well. Overall, a great shoe, I would recommend.

I purchased the this shoe In a wide for my husband. They are lighter then previous models( this is his 4th pair of this shoe), and offer adequate cushioning.

I have a narrow foot and High arch. I ended up replacing the insole. This is one of the few running shoes that comes in a true narrow width. This is why I purchase this shoe.

As someone with long, wide feet and a barely-managed case of plantar fasciitis, I have an awful time trying to find shoes that fit properly, provide decent support, and maybe have "curb appeal" if I'm lucky. So far, the GTS 17's have hit all 3 points. I ordered them in 14.4E, and they have appropriate length, a roomy toe box (no squished pinky toe!), and good stability. The eyelets, or combination of eyelets and laces, are such that there is a fair amount of friction when you snug the laces - which is wonderful, because the laces tend to stay where you pull them. One last bonus feature, tiny detail though it may be, is a small loop on the lateral corner of the tongue. The lace runs through this loop before entering the last eyelet and, so far, has completely prevented the tongue from sliding halfway towards my toes like some other shoes. Cons: I wish more shoes came with gradual heel-toe drops (these are 12mm - I prefer 4 or 8). Also, a smidge more arch support would be welcomed.

I bought these to replace the GTS 15 which are perfect for my 69 year old, female, feet with bi-lateral bunions. I walk 1 1/2 to 2 miles daily and the GTS 15 have been great. The newer version has a slightly more pointy tie box which forces my big toe in and causes the bunions to cramp up and hurt. So I am returning. Sad to do so, but happy that Zappos allows me to do so hassle-free.

Second pair of Brooks, good shoes, like the brand. No complaints.

The good: I love the gold on black, looks great. The bad: my true size is 11.5 AA, however this shoe (11.5 D) I could barely get my foot into when first putting them on. They are definitely too small. I am returning these for a different pair.

The silver on these shoes is disco ball shiny and there is a lot of blue. Colors don't look as good in person.

Love Brooks shoes and never had a problem with their quality till this model. Toes rubber starting to come loose less than two months in. Never been dissatisfied with Brooks till now. Pair of Nike Pegasus 33 lasting longer than these. Save your money or buy the Beasts.

Really liked the style and color (Heather/anthracite heather),but unfortunately, the fit and feel just wasn't right for me. Actually, the shoes felt like they were two completely different sizes, although they were both labeled the same. Also, not as much cushioning as I was hoping for. Lots of people seem to love them, but they just weren't comfortable for me. Bummer. Going back. Maybe I'll try something from New Balance.
