Ah Pact, they insist their pants are so uber comfy cause of their valuable super wonderful non gmo organic-spanic cotton. Butttt somewhere along the way the pants got really thin and they make a weird noise when walking. It happens when the thigh parts of the fabric rub against eachother when walking and makes an almost squeaky noise. Also the sheerness of these pants makes it seem like they would get holes in them fairly quickly. And at 5'4 these pants hang down to the ground and trail on the floor like the train of a wedding dress. Were they making this length for people 5'10 and up? wtf say it's a long length then....

Thankfully we bought these NOT on the Pact website because we just discovered that the return process is an incredible hell on earth experience - one has to email them, and then they reply and ask if you really wanted to return them, and then you say yes, and the process seems never ending. So, buy on Zappos! On to the pants, they are weirdly shaped from the knee down (they just keep stretching over your feet, almost like putting on stockings, and nearly as sheer). And they are very long - those of you who are long in the knee to foot area of your leg, but short in the thigh, will find these great. Sheer! I returned them, but my friend kept hers and they ripped after one washing. They rip and run almost like stockings. Sizing is odd at Pact: if you buy two of the same item, they won't be the same size. And some of them shrink weirdly. We ended up scrapping the quest for organic cotton and buying a big box of stuff from American Giant along with some specialty items at Gaia Conceptions, Icebreaker wools, and Smartwool. Patagonia's organic line is really nice, too, with dependable and consistent fit and quality. So, like I said earlier, if you want to try Pact, use Zappos because you will be able to return them hassle-free

The fabric definitely does not feel at all like cotton with elastic. It is quite rough, catches every bit of lent and feels much more polyesterish. Unfortunately, this quite typical now for fabric to say one thing and be a complete lie. We first noticed this in 1990 when buying fabric. These pants are rather tight from the upper thighs up. I am quite small and was surprised how body clinging they were. I love that they are long enough though! They also are cut at the perfect height around waist.

These pants run long. Not by current high-heeled fashion standards, I guess, but I'm 5'9", extra large, and had to hem them up by 2 inches in order to wear them with flats. Otherwise, I love the fit. Fabric is light weight, good for the warm climate I live in.
