Great comfort, support, good for walking - Finn Comfort's cork bed shoes/sandals are the most comfortable if not the most attractive. Brisk walking is easy and my foot does not slide out despite the lack of heel strap. Overall the sandal is more attractive than the virtual display. Denim blue is a prettier color than displayed. Comfort gets even better the more they are worn. Last very well.

Finn comfort’s Jamaica sandal - At work sandals hurt my feet, my knees, my back and my left hip. I have not worn them since! I do like the look and fit. I just can not wear them all day.

Finn Comfort's The Best - I have worn Finn Comfort sandals for four years and wouldn't switch to any other. I used to have to avoid sandals because I was supposed to wear an orthodic in my shoes. With these, I don't need one. They provide excellent support and comfort.

Wow, I feel like dancing. Since I wear orthodics, this shoe is the greatest. I wish that more of your sandals could accommodate orthodics.

Finally!! Comfort instantly - I have bunions, arthritic toes, and constant pain. My footh tends to be wide, but these shoes were comfortable from the start. I just received them, and hope they will continue to be a great discovery in a comfortable shoe. Love the service I received from Zappos.!

Amazing comfort - I'm a former wearer of Mephisto shoes who has found the perfect sandal. Overweight and with arthritic knees, I have been in search of a good-looking sandal with great support and good looks. The Jamaica sandals fit perfectly, never flop at the heel and look great. I wore the ones I purchased in NY daily!! almost 24/7. I have just purchased another two pairs in different colors and will eventually get more.

Great Shoe!!! I have very short, wide feet. These shoes look nice and are very comfortable. This is my second pair.

fit is perfect . The color is darker than the picture. I had cognac before and this is much darker.

Loved the shoe, super comfortable and fit well. The shoes have velcro straps for adjusting and removable footbed for orthotics. They would have been perfect for long days walking in Europe. Unfortunately, I had to return them due to the sole being too flexible and causing fascia pain from the excessive pull. I'll have to stay with Dansko for their firmer soles and pain free walking.

I was a bit disappointed in the color being a silvery color... expected more black it’s blueish, silver......I like the style and the fit, very comfortable...

Very nice leather uppers, but cork footbed is not as cushy as I had hoped. Sorry, I will be returning them. They are well made and very easy to adjust the straps to fit, I just need something softer.

It was too soft for me after wearing Finn Comfort for twenty years.

I wear a 9 to 9.5 shoe. I went with Zappos' recommendation to go with the 39 in this sandal which is an 8.5 to 9. They did just fit and are very comfortable. However, my feet literally extend from end to end and when I stand my left big toe hangs over a little. I am returning them for this reason. I went to the Finn Comfort website and they state to go with the size 40 which is a 9 to 9.5. I will be reordering this sandal in my correct size (from Zappos) when my refund is processed.

The inside sole of the shoe was very light in color and did not go with the outward appearance of the sandal.

I really liked the charcoal color of this shoe and it was easy to adjust. In the end I returned them, finding them just too heavy on my feet.

These sandals are very comfortable.

I am wearing them right now. I wear Finn Comfort shoes most all the time and these are a nice addition.

I have arthritis and a bunion on the right. I bought these shoes, in wide width, to wear in the house. They are extremely comfortable, very supportive for a sandal, and suitable for me as house shoes. I can wear them with or without socks. The materials and workmanship are what one expects from a shoe costing this much. Like all shoes which use velcro on straps to make them adjustable, the straps are not long enough to cover the velcro when I adjust them to my feet. I don't mind this in a house shoe, but for that reason I don't wear these out.

When I saw the color of these sandals as it showed up in Zappos, I was really pleased. Not too conservative, not boring. The real color of the sandals is just burgandy. I should have known. I 'm keeping them anyway, and hoping that some day they will make the color shown, usually called bittersweet, I think.

I have four pairs of Finn Comfort. They are the only shoes that I wear. I have a pair of Jamaicas, which I love, so I wanted to try another color. These are a little smaller than the ones that I have and the insoles are not the soft footbed, which I have to have. My older insoles are softer than these. If I can get the soft insoles I will go for an exchange.

Jamaica - 2519 - I have been having a lot of problems with shoes and Zappos has been extremely helpful for me in finding comfortable shoes. I live in a small town and the stores here only carry shoes for regular feet. My feet are wide feet in the front and narrow in the back and this combination is almost impossible to find. I also have very high arch and recently started with problems with the metatarsal area. It is very painful to walk if I do not have low, good fitting shoes and good cushioning shoes. Finn Jamaica worked for me although I would prefer for this shoe to be less bulky and more flexible. It is very well made and it does provide arch and metatarsal support. The cork helps cushion the feet as I walk. European shoes seem to be made better than US shoes. I have been able to walk with less pain than before. THANK YOU ZAPPOS YOU ARE BEST. I WILL NEVER BUY SHOES ANYWHERE ELSE!!

AT LAST - I have problem with my feet, legs, and knees. I have tried all kinds of shoes for some relief. This shoe gets me through most of the day! I wish the insole was a darker color...after use it looks dirty...and it is not...it's just the way it looks. Thanks ZAPPOS!!!!!

I'm afraid that I cannot rave about the Jamaica sandal with the same enthusiasm as other reviewers. I previously owned a pair of Mephisto Elka sandals which I loved but which wore out. I was looking for something similar but different. The Jamaica seemed like a good choice for my rather picky feet with the cork foot beds, memory foam, etc. Nonetheless, after having my Jamaica's for well over a month, I am still not convinced they will ever be my go-to pair. The leather is rather thick and stiff which makes break-in a time consuming affair. I still get skin-abrading rubbing from the top strap after numerous wearings. What others call excellent arch support, I would call "noticeable" arch support. Unfortunately, although I am wearing the correct size, the arch support does not fit my foot well and just feels like a lump in slightly the wrong place. Also, despite the velcro closures, I can't seem to tighten the sandal enough while it’s on my foot. Consequently, it always feels a little too wide (although I must confess I had the same problem with my Mephistos after they stretched out) so that may just be a peculiarity of my foot. Bottom line, I bought these shoes in anticipation of a sightseeing trip to Europe but, despite the money and break-in time I've invested, my Jamaica’s will be staying home.

Length was correct, however the width is very narrow. Nice leather straps and good height.
