The interior measurements of the large packable space are: 7x14x17. This is a very professional looking carry-on bag, but it's also a very small bag, smaller than most carry-on bags. The inside dual zip bags barely fit one shoe each... I guess they were not made for that because they are less than an inch shallow. The larger interior zip pocket is also very shallow. The outside zip area has a padded sleeve for a laptop, which is a great idea, I love it. The smaller outside zip pouch is very shallow, just fits my hand and therefore would not be large enough to slip in an airline ticket/boarding pass, much less an ipad. If it had a matching larger (checked) bag so I could go on 1 or 2 week business trip with a matching set of luggage, I would have kept this one despite the small packing size just because it looks so professional.
