Lovely short boot. The whiskey color is beautiful in person. I love the shoe, but the heal height is a bit too high for me.

These are my new favorite boots. I hesitate to write such a positive review, because then they will never go on sale. :) In my opinion the heel height and shaft height are perfect. They are simple and classic and go with everything. I have a pair in whiskey and plan to get one in black soon, as well. They definitely run small, which can be a bit frustrating. I typically wear 8.5W/9 depending on the style and took a 9.5 in these. They still feel a little snug after I've worn them all day, but trust they will break in over time. I wish Rachel Comey would make a wide version. A tiny bit of extra width and they really would be perfect!

These are both gorgeous and super-comfy. Once you wear them a few times, the leather stretches to conform to the foot perfectly, the heel is a perfect height, and the footbed is padded. Sometimes in heels, I will experience pain in the metatarsals because of the pressure placed on them, but my feet feel happy in these all day! The construction and materials are very high quality. They do run a bit small for a high-end shoe: I often wear a 6.5 or 7 and in these took a 7.5. They're also very easy to get on, the opening is wide enough to just slip on (I'm able to do it without hands!) but there is a small elastic gore that will stretch to facilitate getting them on.

I'm obsessed with these shoes. I have them in 3 different colors because they are so versatile. I can wear the with jeans and they also look really cute with yoga pants for a kind of athleisure look. And I some times wear them with dresses and skirts. They work in so many situations. I love Rachel Comey. Her products are very high quality and always so perfectly designed.

I loved these. One problem: I couldn't actually get them on. I have very average width feet, borderline narrow sometimes. I could not even get my feet all the way in these to see if they fit. So, so cute, though. Wish I didn't have to send back. style definitely 5 stars. Comfort - couldn't get them on. Overall, 3 stars because there are so cute.

Ordered the Rachel Comey "Mars, in Whiskey/Natural, on my continued quest for the "perfect" bootie. It is challenging to find a bootie with a 4" shaft. The sizing is "wonky" that's the best description I can give, this brand does not fit my feet at all. Back it went. Also, I did not like the color at all, to "western" for my liking.
