These shoes are simple, plain and can be worn with pants/slacks very nicely. I ordered 11 wide and they run true to size in length and width. More important, they were comfortable right from the box. Shoes are not an easy item for me to get a comfortable fit. I need width across the toes, a narrow heel and good arch support. This shoe meets all these requirements and is perfect for me. I plan to do a great deal of walking in an upcoming trip and finally found a pair of shoes that make my feet feel comfortable at the end of the day. Drew is a little pricey but worth it to me.

Great shoe for orthotics! I went to a bio-mechanic/physical therapist instead of going to another podiatrist for custom orthotics. These orthotics are actually tolerable unlike the hard orthotics made by my first podiatrist.
The only problem is that regular sneakers and shoes aren't deep enough to accommodate them and not squish your entire foot. These Drew shoes have an insole that is nice when you want to wear them without a custom orthotic or to switch them in and out as you acclimate to them.
These shoes have a flat, thin liner that can also be removed for extra thick orthotics like mine.
I wanted regular laces and not the thick hook and loop tabs found on shoes for diabetics because they make the shoes look even bigger and heavier. These Drew shoes in navy look nice with jeans and don't scream "orthotics here!"
The fabric has a little "give" to it which also makes them more comfortable. I used to wear a 7.5 wide in my old New Balance sneakers until they changed the style last year and I had to order a half size up to an 8 Wide. These Drew shoes fit at that size and the ones I ordered a half size up from that, or in double wide were too big. So if you wear New Balance sneakers you should probably order these Drew shoes in the same size.

These are among the most comfortable shoes I have tried. They would be perfect for anyone with a pronation problem. I however severely supinate so they have to go back. Nice wide width and so supportive.

Excellent choice for problem feet. I like that the shoe material is flexible and soft but the sole is thick enough to pad the bottom of the foot and give good support. Also I can slip the shoe on and off without even tying or untying.
It was comfortable immediately with no break in needed.

Not the prettiest shoes, but I was looking for comfort. These shoes would be fantastic for the right feet, plenty of support and good quality, but the fronts are a little tapered and my feet require a more rounded toe section. I am so sorry to have to return them.

While doing a search for comfortable walking shoes, these came up. Cute. Good reviews. So, I gave them a try. Wow. My feet are totally weird and picky but these shoes feel great. I've been wearing them during some travel and they are working out quite nicely. The inserts are good and the soles make for good traction and walking. Who knew? I've never even heard of this brand. At any rate, I'm glad I tried them and that they worked out.

I love, love, love these shoes! I have had a lumbar back fusion, I have degenerative arthritis that is attacking my knees, and my feet often swell. I can walk and walk and walk in these shoes in no pain! I thought the white along the bottom would bug me, but they work well with yoga pants and dark jeans. I had to go a half size bigger because my usual size (7.5WW) is out of stock, but with thick socks it has been just fine.

These are the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I love the removable insoles. I leave them in so I can enjoy the extra cushioning for my feet. My feet never get tired or sore even if I'm standing for a long time. I always get complements when I wear these shoes.

LOVE THESE SHOES. What can I say? These are perfect walking shoes. The double in-soles are perfect, (and can make you appear taller!). I can't wait to buy another pair!

My 5th grader has really wide feet (triple wide) and a tall instep and has outgrown children's sizes. However even women's wide shoes are often too tight over the instep and of course the collar of the heel is often way too high for her, since her leg is still short. For example she can't even find an Ecco shoe to fit, and they are usually quite good for adult comfort.
Normally she wears classic Crocs year round, but a closed black shoe is required for school and it has been an utter nightmare to find a shoe that doesn't leave her in tears. This show in a 7(4E) has been literally the only shoe that she's still happy to wear after a day at school.
Sure, the style is nothing to write home about but who cares - it's not the kind of shoe that will get you fashion compliments, but nobody is going to sneer at it either.

I ordered this shoe in 12 medium originally, because that's the size I wear in women's shoes. These run very big and I believe they run by men's sizes. I sent the 12 medium back for a size 11 medium, and they are still just a little too long and wide,so order at least a size/width down! The looks aren't so great but they are very stable, supportive shoes. I have foot issues, including hammertoe surgery and a bunion, so I need great arch support--which these have!

have purchased 9 pair...I have such trouble finding comfort and good fit in any kind of shoe...so every couple of months I buy another pair so I don't run out...Do wish they would change up the prints and colors Red would be nice and polka dot navy or black...pink??? always blue and black are ok...just bring it up another notch for us die hard fans! after all big wide feet need cuteness!

This Drew sneaker is well made and you can see the quality. I have problem feet, size 11 WW and prone to ingrown toenails, but with these sneakers I haven't had any issues with pain and that means everything to me. The width is a little wider than expected but thats not an issue because I wear very cushiony socks that I bought at the same time from Zappos, and they work great together. I picked this Floral pattern and have gotten quiet a few compliments on them. If you are indecisive about getting these don't be. They are worth it, your feet deserve them.

The shoes are comfortable and have a great thick sole which makes them feel very cushiony. Quality made shoe, however, I am returning them only because I bought another pair of a different brand that didn't seem so much like an athletic shoe for casual wear.

I have wide feet and difficulty with ankle swelling. These shoes were comfortable from the first minute. Have worn them each day since and even spent time cleaning my gutters in them. Love them. There is a little bit of a feeling of tilting forward but not enough to be an issue. Wish they were cheaper but love them.

A great show for those that have wide feet. I hope that black returns in my size. Thank you Zappos for your great customer service. Would like to see a black sole so that the dirt does not show up as much.

Attractive shoe; too loose in the heel for a narrow foot; toe box room good; good quality; have foot pain that this would not address. Great brand. Love Zappos!!!

Fabulous shoe but unfortunately was much too big. In athletic shoes I normally wear an 8 but in this shoe I will try a 7 or 7.5 once Zappos has them in stock as it seems to be extremely comfortable for my very painful feet.

This pair of shoes was like a blessing for my daughter. She is a paraplegic and is very difficult to fit. She has small, wide, puffy feet. It is very difficult to find a shoe that gives her a good fit without causing any pressure that she cannot feel. In addition to the good fit, the shoes are also stylish. I would suggest that anyone who has had trouble finding a well fitting shoe, check these out.

I am a happy wearer of Drew Tulip. WW. I ordered these Excel to wear in the summer. They are extremely comfortable with my orthotics. However, they are not as good at motion control as the Tulip and since I have a tendon issue I plan to still wear other shoes when I will be walking a great deal. Nevertheless, when walking about an hour or less doing errands, shopping, walking to a restaurant etc. they are great and I think even look okay without socks. Although they look very big to me from looking down I have received lots of compliments, including from my fashionista millennial daughter.
Zappo's has not had them in stock for some time and I hope will get them back in!

I bought this post-surgery for arthritis in my forefoot. I received new cartilage after the joint was cleaned out. At about 10 weeks post op I was out of the "boot" and down to the velcro closure sandal-thing from the podiatrist. However I am on my feet a lot and the sandal, while obviously roomy, was without support for the rest of my foot. Also, walking in one sandal and one sneaker was uneven, and was beginning to cause hip and back issues. I usually wear wide or x wide anyway so I went for the XX wide in my regular length. The shoe gives the parts of the post-op foot, which isn't ready for full shoe contact, plenty of space, yet the laces are efficient so the other shoe isn't too huge. I'm still using a cane but I feel better in general in the calf, hip etc. I wear the pair during physical therapy. My P/T is very pleased with the shoe and is telling others about it. It isn't particularly stylish but not awful either, like a black sneaker, but looks presentable. The top is light, flexible enough but still quite supportive. I don't know how long I'll use it but for me it was worth the money to heal well and not add any new out-of-alignment body issues.
