If snazzy was a show it would be the Mitchel Zip Boot by John Varvatos. These come out of the box smoking and never cool down. I love the way they look with dress slacks or designer jeans - great for work or a night out. Normally I wear an 11 and had to send back and get these in 10 (Zappos makes that part easy!) and they run a touch narrow. Indeed, I had to stretch them out with wads of paper and shoe trees - lucky the leather is not only beautiful but it is supple and malleable so I was able to stretch them out and make them fit more comfortably (this extra effort is the cause for 4 stars, ?not 5). Note, if you have a wide foot these are not for you. Also, it takes a little effort to get them on and off - but it is worth the work. All in all a solid shoe - just runs a touch small and narrow but if your foot can make that work you won't be disappointed.

Great looking boot! Runs a half size big, normally wear an 11.5, 11 would have fit perfectly. Color is true to the pictures online. Definitely recommended!

Typical Chinese-made leather shoe. Like every other leather (as in, not athletic) shoe I've worn that's made in China, the shape of the shoe last (the "mold" or model of the foot used to make the shoe) is ridiculous and the sizing inconsistent. Interestingly, the size in terms of length is pretty accurate. The size 11 has a proper arch length, while the width is greater than a D (at least for the 11), but that works for me because I have slightly wide feet. But the heel, ankle, and tube are huge, making the shoe feel oversized. In other words, the shoe is lasted with an abnormally wide rearfoot, while the forefoot is okay. I tried a 10.5, and the decrease in the forefoot size was not 1/2 size but easily a full size (much tighter), while the rearfoot fit perfectly. I expected better from John Varvatos, especially at a nearly $300 MSRP. Not recommended.

Great looking. They run a size large. I usually wear a mens size 11 but the size 10 fit in these.
