I love the warmth and fit of these pants. They keep your legs very warm, so don't wear them unless you're trying to stay warm. I agree with another that you probably don't need them unless it's below 35 degrees outside. I mainly bought them to get to and from the gym in the early morning freeing walks, and they're great at warmth and wind control. Fit is also nice but isn't bunchy/awkward with my gym shorts under them. I am a 32x32 pant and have the small. The leg zipper is nice, but I just stretch it over my foot (might also work as a vent if you get hot). I don't know if you can keep your shoes on and take these on/off. The material on the inside is very soft, but note that it is in squares, so you'll feel like a waffle texture when you touch them with your hands, but this isn't that noticeable or distracting.

These are pretty warm. I probably wouldn't wear them running until it gets below about 35 degrees. But they're great for lower levels of activity. They look sharp and, unlike the lighter-weight pants, are structured enough to provide some modesty for men, if you know what I mean.

Large fit perfect and so comfortable and snug!

I was a little bit hesitant about spending so much on a pair of track / workout / running pants but after receiving them I can definitely say these are worth every penny and are of very high quality and well made considering you would probably spend more on separate pants and a base layer. They fit perfectly and are not skin tight (I wear a medium, 34" waist, 30" inseam, wide athletic quads and calves) and I would even recommend them for cycling in colder weather since they are lined with a second layer to keep your legs nice and warm. They are too warm to workout indoors but I don't think they are designed for that. These are definitely keepers for times when I want to run or cycle in colder weather (I would say between 54 degrees down to 40 degrees fahrenheit) and not have to wear a second base layer. Keep the heavier thermal base layers and heavy cycling pants for colder temps. I like the fact that they have reflective strips for days when the sun sets and you're still out there. Very comfortable and recommended. My only gripe is that the calves are a bit too tight, but I have large calves and they are getting bigger!
