I have tried on several Chelsea boots, including Blundstones, that claim to be true to size, only to return them for being too big. I read all of the reviews on the Ariat Wexford before purchasing. However, I expected to encounter the same issues. These Chelsea boots are absolutely true to size! They are the most comfortable boots I have worn in my 64 years. You can easily see and feel the quality. The Chelsea Wexford is a winner for me. They can go from the barn, to a hike, and then out to dinner. I consider them a very classic style. The Wexford is not an ultra feminine Chelsea. Rather it is a substantial workhorse of a boot that has a very stylish edge. These are a win for me. Now onto other colors!

Beautiful shoe just didnt fit my foot right- I got wide because my foot is wide at toes but narrow at heel - and the heel was just very very loose - just not comfortable for my weird foot

I love my new wexford Chelsea Boots. These are my first pair of Ariats and I am converted. I wear them not only all day in the workshop, but also out to dinner or downtown. They are great work boots, but also so fashionable and very cute to wear out and about. Built tough!

I love how I didnt have to break this boot in. I just put it on and they are comfortable and ready to go. I also love the durability and versatility. They go with pretty much anything. I will say they run a tad big. I normally wear a 7.5 in boots and after reading the reviews decided to go with a 7 and Im very glad I did. With socks they are fine, but very close to being a smidge big. Also the color was a bit darker than expected. I was torn between Java and Chestnut and ended up java. Having a tiny bit or regret over that decision, but I still really like them.

I bought these for my mother who is 70 yrs old and she cant get enough of them! I am gonna need to buy her a few more colors lol Amazing quality and truly comfortable for her persnickety feet! True to size and width as well. She wears a size 8

While I did keep them, Cordovan is not the correct color description. Cordovan is maroon by definition. Theses are a dark brown. I was hoping for the true cordovan color as something different. But I liked the boots enough that the brown was a small compromise. Well made, comfortable, good support.

The boots are cute and for the most part comfortable. The leather version is a little tighter than my other pair. Overall a good boot!

I received my first pair of Ariat boots today and love them! Pros..Beautiful color, they come in wide, the toe box is roomy so my toes don't feel squished and fairly lightweight. Cons.. very stiff, the ankle area is not relaxed or loose as it appears in photo with model (She must have tiny, tiny legs ankles) and I really wish wide came in more colors. Overall I'm happy with the purchase I just wish the leather was a bit more relaxed/soft. It does run a bit big and I think I could have worn an 8.5 W.

Great boots. Loved the look, leather and color. Unfortunately had to return them because the wide wasnt the same wide as I know from my paddock boots (which fit perfectly). I would have bought three colors, if they would have been wide enough.

I love this boot! The soul is so cushy and cond comfortable!I can wear anywhere from a 8.5 to a 9 it just depends on the shoe. I ordered a 9 because I have a high instep. Its a little wide. Im wondering if it comes in a narrow?

This shoe is gorgeous! I ordered weathered brown and the photos look more cognac, but the actual color is more of a brown, but it really is a good looking shoe. I ordered my regular size, but these felt big so I returned them since you can't do exchanges. I am contemplating reordering a half size smaller, but the front does feel like it will cut into my shin if I don't wear with long socks so this may not be the boot for me. I really wanted these to work, but I may go with another brand that isn't as close to what I was looking for, but the front is longer so it hits better on the shin and has a thicker heel. Return process was easy enough with an insider account.

While they took a while to break in they are ultimately comfortable. I also had to go out and buy specific socks as unless your pants go into the boots they end up rubbing uncomfortably against your ankle skin.

These boots are super soft and great for rainy weather. They dress up any outfit and add a comfort I havent been able to find in any other boot. I love them!

Good looking but heavy and the arch didn't work for me; I felt a distinct drop from heel to ball of foot. It's probably just me; my feet are not what they were when I was young.

Returned because the boot wasnt supportive or structured enough.

I ordered a 5 1/2. Too big. You dont have a 5. But other than that I liked them and returned them

I purchased these for a trip to Europe in early spring. Have always been an Ariat fan for comfortable boots and these did not disappoint! They did not need any break in period. I wore them around the house for a week with thicker socks, but they really didn't even need that. They were very comfortable walking a ton all through Germany, wore them every day for 10 days. Cobblestones, stairs, streets, damp weather. Zero aches or pains, zero blisters, zero rubbing on my ankles or shins, feet stayed dry and not sweaty. My feet also never were cold (30-50 F temps). True to size (7.5 women's) wearing gold toe lightweight socks. Thicker wool socks were tighter in the toe box, but I don't expect to wear thicker socks. Tried on a similar Chelsea style of Keen boots and they were so stiff and tough! If you are on the fence, buy these! You won't regret it. They are so comfortable & worth the price. I purchased the black and they really are versatile. Any little scratches from my travels can be buffed away.

Ive been wearing these boots non stop for two months in the snow and rain. Very comfortable and well made.I love not having to worry if they get wet on the way into work. I bought my normal size and the were comfortable right from the first wear. Ive been thinking about buying in the brown color as well.

After many tries, Chelseas that fit! I tried other brands and none of them worked. My daughter, a rider, suggested Ariats. After sizing way up on my original order, I wound up at my actual size - 8w. I would have liked a bit more width but the leather is supple and will stretch a bit. If you have a higher instep, there will be a bit of pressure but that will also sort out. The ankle opening is built for a person as opposed to a bird. I havent worn them yet but had to weigh in on the sheer surprise that they fit as intended. My daughter says they look great and I agree. Because I went with black, they are suitable for the country or the city.
