I did return these but only because i found a pair of Sorrel's while shopping out of town that I can't return. Very cute boots and seemed like they would be comfortable. Easy to take on and off but I would think these would go best with taller socks so that they don't rub the top of your leg.

These just arrived yesterday so I can't vouch for the durability, but I'm already in love! I live in Maine and even if there isn't fresh snow on the ground, there's always slush and ice and puddles. I needed something that would hold up nicely in the weather but that I'd be happy to wear indoors throughout the day, too. They fit perfectly -- I have had some trouble with toe boxes that feel too narrow but these have some room for thick socks, etc. They're very sturdy and comfortable, and it's not a hassle to pull on the boot-- the gore provides enough give. I got them in java, and they're dark brown with enough olive in them that I'm confident they'll match just about anything, not just browns and navys.

After two rounds of less expensive boots busting, I saved some pennies and got these boots. A lot of other reviewers made mention of little to no breaking in period, and that is true! I’ve worn these boots nearly every day since receiving them just over a week ago. I wear a 7.5-8, and went with the 8 for these - a solid half size too large! But with some woolly socks, these boots will be unstoppable. Great support, not a single tender spot from wearing them everywhere for a week, and super comfortable. They wear a little like motorcycle boots and clomp a little as you get used to their weight, but that doesn’t bother me one bit. These are my go-to boots for at least the next 6 months!

These boots are an excellent quality - they are made with very nice leather and have a solid sole with a comfortable foot bed. I really wanted to keep these boots but unfortunately I have a very high arch and the boot rubbed on the top of my feet and also rubbed against one of my ankles. This boot is best suited for people with lower arches or flatter feet. The sizing was true to size.

So cute! I love that the leather is soft and waterproof! I have a higher instep and could get into these boots really easily. They will take a little break in time since I have a wider foot, but the sole is really nice and flexible. These boots have a beautiful shape and are adorable and super functional!

I literally tried on about ten different brands of boots in this style, including Blundstone, and loved these the most. I have a fairly narrow foot and high arch and these felt the best. Also, loved the look. I wear them almost every day. A little over a year later, I still love them. My four instead of five stars is because of the heel design. It is a plastic with leather strips glued onto it. How do I know? The strips started to lift after a few months of wearing. I glued them down with Gorilla glue and that did the trick. One year and two months later, the strips peeled again in a different spot and I was unaware until it was too late. Now there is a white strip on the heel where the leather peeled. It was gone before I could glue it. I still love the boot, just wish they would use a different method and product for the heel.

Depending on the brand, I'm either a 7, 7.5, or 8. I initially bought these in 7.5 (way too big!!) and then ordered a 7. The size 7 fit, but I'm just not in love with the color of them (and priced at >$200, I have to love them to keep them). They're more stylish than Blundstones (in my opinion)-- less clunky. The shaft did rub on my shin, but that issue is remedied with taller socks. They are well constructed, sturdy, and have grippy tread and a comfortable footbed. Clearly made to last. If these came in a cognac color, there's no question I'd be keeping them. Disappointed, because they're possibly the most functional waterproof chelsea boot I've found. Make more colors available, please!

1. I love these boots. 2. I am a between regular and wide person who usually wears 7.5. I ordered my size, medium width (only choice) at Zappos for weathered brown. 3. They seem like really nice boots worth the money, but I found the 7.5 a bit long. The width actually seems ok for me, maybe only my right foot would need to stretch it a bit, and the top/ankle rubs my not super thin calf a bit. I did some review reading and realized that Ariat offers a wide width in weathered brown. So I am going to try a 7 wide. I read a review that someone had this experience, that it is better in these boots to order a half size down and a wide, if you don't have a narrow foot. Sorry Zappos! For the price I want them to fit perfectly. But they do seem like extraordinary boots, beautiful and can go a bit between work and dress. For those that want to know, the Weathered Brown seems not perfect in color on both shoes and will probably rapidly bend and crease. That's the look I want, but some may not.

Read so much about this brand and wanted to try it. Love the leather and fit. I wear 9 and 9 1/2 depending on the brand and shoe style. I ordered both to try. The 9 1/2 seemed too loose and I didn’t want to have to wear thicker socks all the time, so I went with the 9 even though the 9 felt tight. I read suggestions to wear two layers of socks for the first wearing(s) to get them broken in/ stretched a bit. I tried this and glad I did it with the size 9 that I kept. I’m sure as I wear them more they will become more comfortable / more fitted to my feet. They are less bulky than my Dr Martens, and offer a different look with outfits.

OmG! These boots are beautiful and comfortable and classy. Feel like a dream right out of the box and pull off practical elegance. Didn’t know that was possible. I’m usually a 9.5 or 10, the 9.5 fit splendidly. Highly recommend!

These Ariat boots are very well made and absolutely gorgeous. I wear a size 7 medium. These boots fit just right in the front and sides but; unfortunately, they are too big for my narrow heels. Oh how I want to keep them, but must return them. Thank you, Zappos.

I love these Ariat boots so much. I have one pair I’ve had about a year and they still look great but I asked for another pair for Christmas just in case they get discontinued. I bought the Java color and it is a great casual boot. I am a photographer and shoot mainly real estate so I am out in rain and snow and these boots keep my feet dry and warm and don’t fall apart after getting wet. I usually wear an 8 but got an 8.5, the 8s were a little right across the top of my foot. These fit great.

I have a "low volume" foot and these fit very well with light and medium weight Smartwool socks. I just didn't think I could wear them to work - they really are more of an outdoor or barn boot. They are of excellent quality, like all Ariat boots, and would be great if I worked at the stable where I ride!

Overall fits well. My favorite part about these boots is how instantly comfortable they were. I bought them for a winter business trip to Minneapolis for wearing in the snow. They were great on that trip and so comfortable that they also became a staple winter boot for me at home in California.

Love, love, love these boots. They are extremely comfortable and stylish. I have stood in them for hours and my feet were very comfortable (this never happens to me). I also receive a lot of compliments. I first purchased them in taupe and just purchased them in java. I ordered size 7 for both pairs. The 7 in taupe felt a little big but I decided I could make it work. The 7 in java was too big; I had to exchange for size 6.5. I am considering ordering another pair in taupe because they go with everything. If I do, I am going to try the 6.5.
