I wrote a positive review when I got these boots. It's not posted! I'm here looking to buy a second pair to wear "for good". I love these boots. I bought a pair in September 2016. Have walked all over Europe in them in early spring and late fall. Comfortable to walk in all day and has a wonderful Soft springy heel. Gortex lining has ALWAYS kept my feet dry, even in horrific rain. Suede still looks new, sole still in good condition, and I carry a tiny container of leather conditioner to touch up the rest. I have received literally hundreds of compliments on these boots. The only thing that's weird is the lump the buckle makes when you cross your legs at the knee. But you'll adjust. And the rest of the boot more than makes up for it. I have thin calves, and I love that this boot adjusts for that. I inserted padded heel liners to adjust the fit for my foot, which also removed a rough spot in the back.

Absolutely love this boot, so much that I bought both colors. The first time I wore these, I received so many compliments, even at places I wouldn’t normally expect strangers to go out of their way to say things. Great for outdoor dog shows too! I generally hate anything that is tight around my calf and make me feel trapped, but these glide on smoothly and are easy to get off of my big calves. Only complaint is what some others have mentioned about the buckle being right over top of the top lace tie area. I can live with that!

Returned because of the crazy bulky anke, cumbersome cord system and lack of an easy on-off zipper.

I have a high foot arch and am always skeptical of slip-on boots that don't have elastic or a zipper. These work great! Fit my high arch. I have 14" calf's and ordered the larger calf size. It works well with riding tights, and should half enough room for fleece lined riding pants in the winter. Excellent tread!

this is a super nice riding boot. Was considering the Berwick GTX but the price point a bit high. Zappos had this boot on sale & it is a great deal. All the quality I've come to expect w Ariat and they are almost too nice as my all around tall rider. :) Heads up on size though, these run smaller than other Ariats I've worn. Normally I wear a 6.5 in their Terrain H2O or their western style boots. The 6.5 was too small, am ordering a 7 hoping it will fit. Will update once I've tried them.
I'd also recommend:
Ariat is the only riding boot brand I would buy.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this boot. Very comfortable, easy to put on, very comfortable. However, I am only 5'2" tall, and the shaft was slightly too long and dug into the back of my knee when I sat down, so I had to return them.

These boots are absolutely gorgeous! I have NEVER had a boot that was too high on the leg (I am 5'2") but these were. Nor have I had one to fit me in my calves. I so wanted to keep these but they were just too long for me. I LOVED them, however.

I have bought this boot last winter and wore it almost every day. It held up fantastic and I had many compliments, even from non equestrians who kept asking where I bought the boot. Always again!

I wear these to the barn and around town. Always get complements and they are very comfortable with great foot bead and support. I can clean stalls fetch horses in a muddy paddock and hop on for multiple rides then go grocery shopping and they are tough, comfortable and good looking all pour pose boot. i live in a cold snowy climate. Just the right amount of warmth to go outside. Not too warm to work andride in a heated arena

Beautiful boot, but because of the suede interior and no zipper, it makes it really hard to get in and out of the boot if you wear anything with any nap, like wool socks or corduroy. Not practical for the field.
