I bought these boots for their waterproof feature, but their fit is not 100% for me. I'm usually an 8 1/2 in boots and sneakers, but when I first ordered these in 8 1/2, my heel kept popping out, though the toe box was perfect. I even tried these on with my thick wool socks I usually wear during colder months. I exchanged for a size 8 and now my toes are snug in the toe box (though not painful) and my heel has minimal popping out. I'm still debating on if I want to return these or not. I have skinny ankles and these boots weren't as slim fitting around the ankles as I was hoping, but they are better than my old Chelsea boots that I got the Blondo to replace. Wish I didn't have the weird fit in the heel versus toe box areas, otherwise this would be a 5 star review.

I hope this message gets out there- if you are specifically looking for a waterproof bootie, these are NOT the pair for you. They are not waterproof!!!!! Could be a defective pair, but I wore mine for a cold, slushy, snowy day here in Philadelphia, and came home with wet socks. Not cool, Blondo! Not cool.

I really wanted to love these booties in mushroom. They're gorgeous and the heel height is just right. The leather is soft and high quality. The stitching is even perfect! Room enough for my medium width foot without squishing my toes. I wish they had more padding! There's very little arch support or passing on the ball of the foot--almost none. I would not want to walk more than 30 min in these.

These are very cute booties and waterproof too. Sadly they were too narrow and so stiff I could hardly get the stuffing out or my foot in. I normally wear a 9W but can usually make do with a 9 1/2 M if the shoe doesn't come in W. This was way too narrow and a bit short. The inside didn't seem cushioned either but it didn't come close to fitting anyway.

I just received my order and was really excited to try these boots on. However, I couldn't even get my foot into them. I ordered a size 9 and am pretty much a true 9 all around yet I had to look at all size markings in the shoe and on the box to make sure I didn't order the wrong size because there was no way these shoes were a size 9. I thought maybe they were a 6 and the marking was upside down. I compared them to other size 9 shoes I own and they were so much smaller. I would try to order a size up yet I really don't know if this was just a glitch or I would need 2 sizes larger.

Wearing this boot was torturous. The top of the boot dug into my ankle and left angry red marks. I wore them for about an hour and was hobbling around in pain. They are really cute though and seem well constructed. Too bad it made me feel like my feet were being slowly amputated.

surprisingly, very uncomfortable.

I'm a true 8.5 wide...could barely fit my foot into the boot. Not sure if I should order a whole size larger? The downside of mail order shoes...

Hard, flat footbed with thin, unpadded insole. No arch support. I have repeatedly attempted to wear around house but these were uncomfortable when "wear testing" on tile for an hour. Not fit for travel with miles of walking anticipated. Good height heel with very nice looking nubuck. Dark taupe color is a medium brown & appeared as shown on my monitor.

The shoes look exactly like the Blondo Valli Waterproof Bootie, except this one only has a zipper on one side and no stretch. Unfortunately, the zipper is too short for it to open sufficiently. I can not get my foot into the shoe, even though the shoe is the correct size. I love the Blondo Valli one and regret that these will have to go back.

I ordered a size 9 in these boots, which I normally wear, but they were very large. I returned them and ordered a size 8-1/2. I received those and they are still slightly larger in the heel and now very narrow in the toe area. I will be sending these back as well and starting over for a pair of trndy yet waterproof boots.

How is it that I can't even fit my foot into an 8 of this shoe? Every other shoe I fit either a 7.5 or an 8. Annoyed.

Very stylish bootie but way too narrow, even though they were labeled as a wide.

I was very excited to find a nice looking waterproof bootie in a wide width, but they were so narrow! I compared them to a pair of booties labeled as the same size from a different brand, and they are at least half an inch narrower in the toe box. Very disappointing.

The top of this bootie rubbed against my ankle. It’s almost at the perfect height for it. Also the bootie is unflattering. It made my feet look wider from above. Chubby feet are not a good look and my feet are not. I really wanted to like this shoe but it was a no go.

I couldn't even get my foot into this. Bought two pairs of shoes the same size and width; one was perfect, this one I couldn't even get my foot into. WAY smaller than the size indicates.

These were written about on several travel websites recommending them for comfort and being able to do a lot of walking in them so I was excited to order for my first European trip. I ordered the 8.5 W; found it to be short and tight in the toebox area. Zipped them up and were also tight around my ankles. I have returned them and replaced with Vionic 8.5 W Serena.

The fit seemed accurate, but it wasn’t comfortable. It felt like I was walking on a wood floor versus any sort of cushion on the bottom. The shoes were definitely not cute enough to make up for the feel.

Love the style, but as one of the other reviews stated, the heel is what looks to be plastic covered with some sort of fabric. There was already a spot on the left heel right out of the box, so I didn't even try them on. I need a shoe to hold up better than that. Nothing tackier than scratched up heels (IMHO).

If take a 7.5 or 8 chose the 7.5. Wanted to like the boot, it's classy but the ankle edges are rough and to wide. Ankle edge keeps rubbing against shin and is very uncomfortable.

Beautiful boot, but it really digs into my ankles. As per other reviews, I order up a 1/2 size, and the length was fine. But they really hurt, and I'm sorry I have to return them.

The shaft was too short and hit right at the ankle causing discomfort.had to send them back
