I bought both the Villa and the valli waterproof booties. They are almost identical but this one, the Villa is slightly lower on the ankle and hit in a strange way. Going back but the Valli is a keeper!

I bought these booties in Taupe-Nubuck about a year ago when I desperately needed more water-resistant shoes. I'd been living in the PNW for a year and was basically wearing the same pair of shoes everyday because none of my other shoes could stand up to the constant wetness! I saw the great reviews for Blondos and took a chance, knowing I usually hate heels, and figuring I could just return them when they turned out to be uncomfortable or not truly waterproof. I didn't have to worry at all! I've put these shoes through the ringer with rain, snow, dirt, puddles, and so much more, and there are no stains or watermarks. These booties are deceptively utilitarian: absolutely too gorgeous to be functional AND comfortable too, right? I've never once had water get through the zipper, seams, or nubuck (0 wet sock events,) and somehow they're also still the best looking shoes I own. Comfort: My feet are on the larger side for women, and I often have a tough time finding shoes that will be comfortable, durable, and the right fit. It's usually a "pick 2 out of 3" scenario. Not so with the Blondo Villa! I have a wider forefoot but a standard/narrow heel, so I tend to look for shoes designed with a wide toe box and opt for a women's 12 standard width, or the occasional men's 10. Anything with a heel throws this off, as I'm very clumsy and basically can't compensate for the little extra space without a guaranteed ankle injury. I took a chance and went with an 11W and they fit like a glove straight out of the box. I only mention it because it's highly unusual; I have yet to find any other shoe I can wear in this size. It's possible they run slightly large, but I've also heard the opposite from others. They've held up with the bare minimum wear and tear, and still fit perfectly. What most surprised me was how comfortable they are to wear, even after a full day on my feet! Any other heeled shoe I've owned gets tight and uncomfortable after a few hours of walking or standing, and I always found my foot sliding forward and jamming my toes. The Blondo Villa perfectly supports my neutral arch in every situation I've tested it in, with no sliding, pinching, or pressure. Even if my feet swell a bit after a longer day, they're still supportive and comfortable on the drive home. I'm never in a rush to get them off. Sorry for the long review, and congrats if you read the whole thing! Obviously to sum up: I'm a huge fan of these shoes! Anyone looking for a business-casual or every day waterproof bootie should seriously consider Blondos. They are truly waterproof, functional, stylish, durable, and comfortable. Any shoe that can deliver all that is priceless in my book.

Cute boot and I really hoped they would fit, but they aren't good for my slim ankles and flat feet. I tried adding in a pad and my orthotic, but then the rim of the boot cut into my leg as I walked. I think this would have worked better if it were a taller boot.

I feel this boot runs narrow. I wear a 6.5M, but the M was too narrow, and I reordered the 6.5W. Never had to order a W shoe/boot before, but my toes were constrained in the M. This make the heel somewhat wide for me, but the room is easily resolved with a basic footie. Otherwise, lovely boot.

These boots were super comfortable right out the box even while walking a lot.

I can not say enough about this bootie/shoe. I was slightly hesitant to spend the extra money on a brand I hadn’t tried before but I am so glad I did! I’ve been wearing these virtually every day through the fall and winter and these are by far one of the best & most versatile shoes I’ve ever owned! I highly recommend!!!! Very comfortable to wear all day long. Stylish day into night. Love these so much! I will most definitely be looking into another pair at some point although these shoes are extremely durable, water proof & wear well!!

I purchased these shoes for myself last fall and wore them every day on an intensive walking tour across Paris. My daughter liked them so this pair is for her. They fit well and look great - even with her school uniform.

I just ordered and received my fourth (4th) pair of these boots. Please, Blondo, I beg of you - NEVER QUIT THESE BOOTS! Super comfortable, wear like iron, and look awesome. I wear them practically every day with everything from skirts to dresses to jeans ... All time favs!

The Valli I ordered is more comfortable, so I would like to exchange this pair for the Valli in the black suede in a 10 M.

I usually have trouble breaking in new boots and booties. These so far have been easy. Going to put an insert in them just to insure all day comfort.

Love these booties but was disappointed when they arrived to see that they are much darker and more olive-green than depicted in any of the photos. I will be returning or exchanging for a different color.

Great boot! Very comfortable. The heel is just the right height. I bought the Mushroom suede that gibed with everything. I highly recommend.

I order this boot in two colors. nice fitting comfortable, and waterproof. I purchased the darker gray but loved the light gray too. would buy again

A 6.5M is always the right size for me. However this boot runs narrow requiring me to reorder the boot in a 6.5W. I have never had to purchase a "wide" size, but it is a much better fit for me. The heel is a bit wide, but the foot bed is right. Can wear a thin footy to improve the heel. Particularly in the almond toe styles, this boot is narrow and it even looks narrow as my foot stretches out the width of the boot across the foot and toes. You know that look when your little toe bumps out in a shoe or boot. And not comfortable if too narrow for your foot. Love the boot.

I was super happy with these initially. Other than being about a half size too big which I fixed with an insole, but after about a few weeks of wear the back is peeling off the heel. Super bummed and going to try and exchange.

I have plenty of ankle boots but I live in Wisconsin where we’ve had -30 and -40° this winter. While they’re not insulated, they have a fabulous rubber sole for the ice, are waterproof, perfect height heel for wearing all day, and look fabulous. I am very, very pleased and have been wearing these constantly. Going to get them in another color!

I purchased the taupe nubuck to wear on a trip to Greece and Italy because I wanted a waterproof bootie that was both practical and stylish. They are very comfortable and are now my favorite booties.

I keep seeing this boot at the top of lists of "best boots for walking around Europe" and I really WANTED to love it. It comes in so many great colors and finishes. But the sole feels thin - like there's no cushioning, and I feel like the boots want to let my arches/ankles collapse inward, which is exactly the issue I'd like to prevent. So the search goes on!

All was great except that the finish on the toes of the boot looked worn and shiny. I have these in another color and do not have that so returned. But these are extremely comfortable boots! Wore them all day walking in New York first time!

I am a size 7.5-8 and I originally purchased these in an 8. I don't have wide feet but the 8 was way too narrow and really uncomfortable. I purchased an 8 Wide and it was perfect. Really cute boots and I love that they are waterproof.

I usually get a 10w. It was too big. Tried the 9-1/2w... too short. These booties are so cute I decided to try a 10m and they fit perfect! Comfy right out of the box! Love them!!!

I love these boots and really wanted them to work. I have a wide foot and ordered the 9W. They were too big. Zappos’s was great exchanged and replaced w 9M. They are perfect. Rained last nt and wore them rt out of the box! Didn’t have to break them in.

I wore these for the first time today, and my feet are killing me. My normal size is a 5 1/2 wide, but in boots I can usually wear a size 6. I tried them on at home and walked around a bit. The boots felt good. However, the true test is when you wear them all day. I’ve had them off for two hours now, and my feet are still throbbing, especially the balls of my feet. I’m so disappointed because I wanted to wear these on a trip to London this spring.
