I read the reviews of this boot before purchasing and was a little skeptical when I opened the box and compared them, sole to sole, against my favorite boot... they seemed about a half size larger so, I was a pleasantly surprised when they fit perfectly. I put both boots on, to try them out, and they felt great. I left them on all day and just forgot about them until I took them off that evening. The only thing that could make them better are tiny air-conditioners so I could wear them all year.

Very comfortable boots. Size runs a little large but works well with winter socks.

This is the pair of winter boots I've owned, ever! Specifically, I was looking for boots that can deal with icy sidewalks and parking lots. In previous years I had tried to get away with weatherproof hiking boots. But in the last two years I was constantly scared of slipping and falling. These boots were a totally different experience. I confidently navigated walking across most surfaces and also wore them comfortably during snowblowing. I also felt more confident carrying my toddler around when walking on icy surfaces. I can not recommend these enough! (I did return them to Zappos and buy them elsewhere due to a better price, but zappos first turned me on to these boots)

I’m totally impressed with these boots. There are too much soft and comfortable, it’s like to be wearing snickers but better, my feet are warm even at 18 F ????. The traction is from other world. Walking on Ice without worrying about slipping is the best

OK, I don't usually write reviews, but these are just SO COMFORTABLE. Got them a few days ago and thought I'd just wear them around the house to "break them in." But no need. They're comfortable and well-fitting right out of the box! Just wonderful. Can't wait for winter!

Bought these for My Husband and He loved them, they fit perfect, He hasn't had a chance to wear them in the rain yet so I am hoping they are water proof .

Just started to wear these yesterday. So far so good. Feel much more confident walking on not very well deiced sidewalks now.

Great fit. Looks like a quality product. Runs a little narrow. I usually fit 10 1/2, for this brand I had to get an 11. As far as durability and function are concerned I will not know until the end of 2019-2020 winter.

Good shoe for winter snow and rain.

These were comfortable right out of the box, just like my last Caterpillars. I like the style, but I wish they had some sort of toe guard. The fit is good, with a little extra room in the front half, but not enough to feel loose or sloppy. With heavy socks they would be snug. A bit pricey for my blood, but if they last as long as my other pair of Cats I'll be fine with it. What the hell has happened to so many shoe manufacturers, that they can't make a consistent, uniform size shoe anymore? I first bought a pair of Columbia shoes the same size, and could barely get my foot in them. Hang in there Caterpillar.

With the Vibram Arctic Grip sole, these boots do help with slipping on wet ice. It's still important to be cautious on ice/snow, though. They are a bit long, but fit well with thick wintery socks. They are waterproof and comfortable for walking in snowy/icy conditions, like for running errands with snowy parking lots, short walks so the dog doesn't get cabin fever, using the snow blower, etc.

Nice boot, super comfy, rugged, and pretty darn waterproof from what I can tell. Also, it looks pretty stylish, in my opinion. I recommend it.

Felt the leather could have been of more substantial quality. Soles are on the thin side. A little overpriced
