I've always loved haflinger slippers, and have had other pairs in previous years, but this style (and all the ones with the felt bottoms with little traction dots) are too slippery for walking on our all-tile floors. Soooo disappointing. Haflinger used to make some styles with thin rubber soles (not their 'hard sole; ones, which I don't like) but this year they don't seem to have any. Some of their styes in previous years also had a piece of suede around the toe over the felt which would keep the felt from wearing through so quickly. Are they now cutting corners cost-wise? Also they seem to have changed how they stitch the sole onto the foot (which is maybe good as that was always a weak area of the slipper), so there's now a 'lip' all around the bottom (with the sold being larger than the foot part). As soon as I tried them on the 'lip' caught on a throw rug in the room and I almost tripped. So although these felt comfortable as always (wide toes, arch just right, not too high or too low)fit perfectly, and of course they have adorable designs), they will no longer work for me (unless they at least bring back the nonslip rubber soles) and unfortunatley I will have to change brands. Also this particular pair was mismarked size-wise. I ordered two other pairs with different designs as well and both were correct while this one was clearly 1 size larger than the other two though they were supposedly the same size. And the right slipper of oen of the other pairs had a rought spot on the inside stitching which would make it impossible to wear barefoot. Seems Haflinger 'quality control' may be slipping...

The little no skid dots will wear away quickly, and they have a felt bottom - quite slippery once those little dots are gone. My first thoughts were "I LOVE how adorable these are". They were soft and warm on the inside and they didn't stretch out with wear like many other slippers do. I had worn these for about 6 weeks when I lost them in a hotel somewhere when we were moving across the country. I was horribly upset and decided to invest in a new pair because they are so comfortable. Since I had the opportunity to use the next pair for a longer period of time in a different environment, I found that the little dots on the bottom wore away quite quickly. We have dogs and they shed a lot, so between the little no-skid bumps wearing away and the dog hair sticking to the felt on the bottom, they became quite slippery on the laminate hardwood in our new apartment. I actually ended up giving them away after about 3 months of light use, because I didn't want to break my neck over an adorable pair of owl slippers - even though I had first thought them amazing enough to replace after losing them. I would consider maybe buying them again if I had a carpeted home, or maybe if I didn't have dogs.

Love my Haflinger Olivia slippers. This is my second pair. Would wear them to town if I could....

Super comfy, cozy slippers that manage to be warm without ever getting hot. The only slippers I've ever found that have a soft sole AND arch support. This is my fourth or fifth pair -- I wear them constantly when home and they seem to last about 2 years before the bottoms become too slippery for hardwood floors and/or the tops stretch out and become too loose. They're worth the investment though! I've gotten a different design each time -- this one is cute though I wish the colors were a little different. I would love it if this style came in more designs, i.e. polka dots, florals or even just bright colors, like pink or turquoise. Only this Halfinger style has the soft sole and arch support, btw -- the other soft slippers have no support. Last year, I tried a pair of Acorns because they were so cute -- the memory foam is cozy for a few minutes but offers zero support and flattens very quickly. Next!

These slippers are cozy and manage to be warm without feeling hot. They have decent arch support, much better than what's in most slippers I've tried (i.e. they actually have a built-in arch, though it's small). They're cute and comfortable. I love the design and like the owl, though I wish they had less brown on them. I would love it if there were many more designs to choose from in this style, i.e. polka dots, flowers or fun colors, like hot pink or turquoise. This is my fourth or fifth pair (each time I get a different design but same style). I wear them constantly inside the house and they seem to last about two years before the bottom because too slippery for hardwood floors. The wool on top does loosen up over time, too. My most recent pair got a hole in the toe area -- like I said, I wear them a lot! They're worth the investment though. I tried Acorn slippers last year because they're so cute, but the memory foam bottoms have zero support. I had to return them.

I love these. I have arthritis and I don't know how they'll feel once winter has set in, but I really love how they fit out of the box and the owls make me smile every time I see them. So maybe that makes me an old lady :) At any rate, I will definitely be keeping these. It's still warm where I live, and the wool is very comfortable in all temperatures so far. I especially like the knitting around the edge, very comfortable. Not too tight or too loose, I would dare call it a perfect slipper.

These are a gift, so they are not my size, therefor I cannot comment on comfort and/or arch support. However, they're very cute and definitely well made.

These are super cute and the sole was what I wanted. I have hardwood floors so I need a substantial slipper, but I don't like to clomp around the house when I get up earlier than my family. This sole was felty and soft but sturdy enough for me. I wear size 7.5-8, and sometimes euro size 38 is right for me (my current Toni Pons slippers are 38 and have plenty of room in them), but I need in 39 in this style. Will exchange.

These give some arch support, are comfortable, and quiet around the house. The appliqué seems to add to the strength of the upper and makes me smile.

The band around the opening is a bit tighter than it had been in previous pairs of Haflingers that I have owned, but it is loosening/softening and they are now very comfortable. Love them.

These are so cute and I love the look. That said, I think I'm truly between lengths so the 40 is just a little short but a 41 would be too long in bare feet. If I had to order again I would go for the 41 so I can wear socks, the 40 does not allow this. The biggest problem is the extremely rough edging where the slippers cross over the top of the foot. It is so tight it leaves an imprint and gets very sore after awhile. I'm hoping it will stretch over time. I would have sent the slippers back but I had already removed the tags and had worn them several days. Too bad.

Hard bottom. Hate them. I like soft sole with non slip dots.
