I love Haflinger shoes and usually wear a size 7 when there are whole sizes. However, this particular clog in size 38 (size 7) was too big for me.

Definitely on the roomy side as to width. Usually wear with thicker socks and insoles. Recovering from fractures in foot and ankle and the Haflinger clogs were the only comfortable shoe to get on, walk and wear with good traction.

My Haflingers just arrived and I love them! On advice from other reviews I ordered a 36 and it's perfect. I usually wear a US 6 W or US 6.5 M, so I don't think the stated equivalent of US 5 is acccurate. A 36 would usually be very snug on me but my toes aren't cramped at all. I have a very high arch but the top of the shoe is not pressing too tightly on the top of my foot at all. (And I gather it will relax further.) I'm not wearing socks right now; they might be a little tight on top at first with thick socks. But they feel great, the support is awesome, and I look forward to wearing them for a long time to come.

I love these shoes and it truly pains me to send them back - they are insanely well made and the cork footbed is superb with excellent arch support. These are wonderful but they are just a little too big. I got my usual European size (37) and they are about a 1/4 size too wide Truthfully, If I wore socks with them, they'd be perfect but that's not what I need.

This is the third Haflinger slipper I purchased, mainly because of the comfort and great arch support. They are warm when it's cold but also not too warm when the weather is temperate. Very comfortable.

These are the quintessential house shoes and are so adorable! They're perfect for quick errands, dog walks and loafing around the house. I had my last pair for 10 years and finally got a new pair. These are so cute compared to the original hafflingers and just as comfy!

Love these haflinger slippers! Published sizing is off. European 37 is listed as U.S. size 6, and European 36 is listed as U.S. size 5. I wear 6 or 6.5 U.S. shoes, but the Eur 37 was too big. Returned for Eur 36 which fit perfectly.

Love the outrageous colors - orange with fuchsia trim! Bought them to use as slippers but they are more like a clog with a boiled wool slipper top. The cork sole is like a Birkenstock. It feels a little large because of the wide toe area but keeping them anyway. They are comfortable.

I love these shoes. My last pair are worn out! I do have to remember to order a 5 instead of a 6. I normally wear a 5.5, but the 6 is too big.

These are fantastic! My first pair of Haflingers, and I am hooked! They run a little big. I am typically a 7.5-8, so I ordered a 39, but ended up exchanging for a 38, which are perfect! I have terrible plantar fasciitis, the arch support is excellent! The color combo is beautiful and there are so comfortable...I am really loving these! Plus, the customer support at Zappos is awesome! By far the easiest and most pleasant exchange experience I have ever had!

I love this shoe! A couple things to know: I have a relatively wide foot and it fits me perfectly -- not a great shoe for narrow feet, but that's any Haflinger item. The fit is very similar to regular width Birkenstock, although the toe box is a little wider than Birkenstock shoes tend to be. I got the orange color and it's SUPER orange. I personally love that, but if you're looking for something more subdued ... get another color.

The Kris slippers/house shoes are very comfortable, have good arch support and fit well. I was worried that this style would not be right for me because I have a very high arch, but they were fine after walking for about 15 minutes. I wear US 8 1/2 and size 39 is perfect.

I normally wear a US size 8 so I ordered a 38 based on other reviews. The fit was perfect. I love the color and the comfort - they make me happy! This is my first pair of Haflingers but it won't be my last.

I wear an 8 1/2 medium width pretty consistently and 39 fits perfectly. The brown is a a nice soft color and the splash of color on the heel makes these cute. The wool is warm and cozy.

I love these shoes they are a perfect fit with great arch support. I am disappointed that the bottom of the shoes look as if they have been worn before :(. Not sure how to report so I am leaving it in the comments.

Great slippers!! Great quality....very well made with a great arch support. I really like how these can be worn outside as well.

These are just what I'd hoped they'd be--super cozy, a little funky, tough enough to wear outside when I walk to the mailbox. They're a little larger than I expected, which just means they're big enough to wear with thick socks on those extra-chilly winter mornings! Also, awesome Zappos customer service, as usual!

This is my third pair of Haflinger cork bottomed boiled wool clogs. I wear them as "house shoes" all winter long. Each pair lasts about five years and gets significant wear. They are awesome! Very comfortable, keep my feet warm, and are stylish in terms of "slippers". I have slightly wide feet and high arches and yet these work. I wear a 9.5 and the size 40 fits me perfectly.

Bought these for my mom and she loves them. The last pair she had lasted for over 20 years!

These slippers are the best. I used to wear Uggs slippers which had little to no arch support. These are comfortable enough to wear all day and very warm. I pair them with colorful socks, the rost color is such fun!

Fit like a comfortable pair of worn out jeans straight from the box! Been wearing them every day inside and outside, even in the snow! They stay on my feet well and keep them warm! My new favorite shoe!

Been wearing these shoes for years, just have to replace every two years or so bc the felt pulls away from the sole and sometimes my big toe wears a hole. Nevertheless, very comfy plus nice support. Ideal house shoe (plus a real sole so you can take out the trash). Wool feels scratchy briefly but softens up.

Lovely shoe but as a medium width, it was just too big for my narrow foot.
