This slipper is very nice. I like the hard sole and soft inside. Some things stated in other reviews are true. I wear a straight 8. Not 8 and a quarter or 8 and a half, just eight, and my toes barely brush the tip of the inside of the slipper. It is not uncomfortable at all, but if I was any size over eight I would of need to have ordered a nine. Also some people feel there is slippage in the shoe. I have just a bit of slippage, pretty normal for some shoes, doesn't bother me at all. If the slipper was any longer though it may have more slippage. Also, I wear a wide and this is wide enough for me. Unless you have very wide feet I would just stay with regular wide. I can see how this slipper may not work for some people, if you can not order a half size, but these ones work for me. COMFY!

I usually wear an 8.5 W so I followed the advice to order down to an 8 rather than up to a 9. When I put them on I was a little worried they wouldn't work because my toe just barely touches the front but not enough to be a problem. After wearing them a few days they molded to my foot. The one issue that I see a lot of people commenting on is that they won't stay on your feet when you walk. The leather bow actually runs underneath the fur all the way around your ankle. So you can tighten it to where you won't slip out when you walk. I tightened it the first day and now I can slip them on and off no problem. I also don't step out of them when walking. The footbed is the real prize with these, like a memory foam mattress. It's very warm and lined with faux fur on the interior as well. I think they are so freaking adorable (I'm 31) and the hard rubber sole makes them nice for having to run out to the car or to the mailbox. I bought them in chocolate and love them to pieces!

I am a size 10, but they are too big...unless you are wearing heavy socks, you will step right out of them. I am going to exchange for a size 9. They are very comfy and nice support.

These slippers will not stay on my feet. The bottom is incredibly comfortable, but it is very heavy and thick and the top of the slipper is too thin and flimsy to hold it on your feet. I walk out of them with every step because the clunky bottom is dragging it down. So sad because the bottom is really awesome! Needs better design. Will have to return :(

I was disappointed when I first tried on the 7 1/2-8 1/2, as I would have preferred a regular 8. I still feel that way. But I found that I could easily tighten the fit by adjusting the leather tie. I just hope the ties don't break soon, as don't know how I would replace them. But I like the warmth and coziness of the shoe so much that I am buying a second pair.

Gloriously comfortable when I first put them on, but as I walked, they slipped off my heel. Too bad, I think perhaps that the sole is too stiff. Nicely padded inside, love the shearling type of fluff, but didn't work on my foot. As for size, I read some reviews and ordered the 9W (I'm usually an 8W in most shoes) and it was a good 1/2 size too big. Ordered the 8W and it fit well, just slipped off my heel. Bought the Kensley slide in an 8W and love love love it.

Nice support & nice looking. Ordered sz 8W as no half sizes avail. It slips on my heels but smashes my toes. Wanted to make it work but removed, my toes sighed in relief. Not very wide for a so called wide fit. Heads up shoe manufacturers-not all women will put up with squeezed toes-guess wide is the new medium/narrow. Also, why would I not need a 1/2 size in a slipper if it's what I wear in a shoe? Wish the fluff could roll up to warm ankles, that the tie was real and the tongue could also roll up. Slippers in that style not available in anything but med width. Looking for a house-shoe with support, comfort and warmth. I've tried MANY slippers, always with socks for extra warmth for my cold toes. It's proven to be a daunting task.

Yay! I found the perfect slippers! I live in Minnesota, so warm slippers are a survival mechanism, as is the ability to slip them on and walk outside. These are the best I've had yet (after 26 years here!) No fussing around to put them on, a tie to tighten them if necessary, and warmth around the top. They fit my skinny feet, which is rare, even without socks. (Don't tell anyone, but now I can't wait for winter!)

Wonderful ! But have to return...the 10 is too big; the 9 is too small. Bummer, because they actually have great support, plus are just darn awesome looking !

Loved this but my heel slipped out the back when walking.

After 5 foot surgeries I need to wear a 6W, but with good support---so difficult to find in slippers. I ordered the 6W but it was way too short as my toe hit the end. The option then was a 7W and I kept it but it is sloppy to wear. A 6 1/2 might have been perfect but with a narrower heel. I'm still looking for the perfect house slipper/shoe. I bought the Merrell but for some reason they no longer bother with wide sizes. I kept the 6M because the support it so good---however, it is too narrow for consistent wear.

I am SO disappointed with these!!! I initially purchased 2 pairs and the first one did the exact same thing- ripped right on the stitching on the side. Now this one has done the same thing after only wearing them for a few weeks. I used to love these slippers because they are very warm but I wouldn't buy them again now after having this happen twice.

Very comfy, plush slipper. I'm not sure why others had trouble with the heel slipping as all you need to do is tighten the lacing and re-tie it in a bow. Mine don't slip at all after doing that, and the footbed is very cushy which feels great to my feet. So glad I ordered these!

Love these slippers. The leather tie broke, was able to replace with shoe laces. So soft, so comfortable

After ordering many slippers I wanted to settle on these. However, my problem with them is that the heel slants lower than the front of the slipper. Why in the world any shoe company anywhere would design any shoe that slants backward I cannot fathom. That could and more than likely would cause a back problem over time! Dear Me, I must return yet again. I won’t have slippers for Christmas this year after all.

I really wanted to like these because I had a prior pair of Tempur-pedics that lasted 5 years of heavy use and were by far the most comfortable shoes slippers I'd ever worn. However, as some other reviewers have stated, the design on these seems flawed. I'm an 8.5 and the 9 (no half sizes) won't stay on my heel. Perhaps it's all the unnecessary fur around the opening that is slippierier than leather?

Marvelously comfortable and cute for winter at home although the sold would certainly allow a quick run to the mailbox. No real arch support but plenty of cushioning. Returning for a smaller size. The 9 is a bit large, hoping that the 8 will fit.

Warm and comfortable slipper that looks great, and can be worn outside. I wish it came in half sizes--feels a little snug--but worth keeping...and Zappos service is wonderful, as always!

Finally found a pair of slippers that fit! Took many tries with other name brands. I took a chance on Zappos because they offered free returns. Slippers are very comfortable & great for my bunions. The only drawback is that the rawhide laces tend to come undone but it's a minor issue. I've seen better-looking slippers but these are great. HIghly recommend them.

These slippers are such a disappointment. I liked them very much when they were new, but then the tie that runs around the cuff stretched. I had to pull them tighter every few days, and then the cord broke, making it impossible to keep on. I probably could have had the cord replaced at a shoe shop, but I decided to find another pair that would not be so annoying.

Too Funny I really liked these slippers. Great for going outside for potty trips with the puppy. Only problem, my foot would slip out the back.... hmmm. So I ordered another size smaller - same issue. I returned the smaller one and just figured I'd make my original pair work. Well, I learned something from my puppy! She untied the lace on one slipper. Oh My. I thought it was non functional! When I retied the bow, I was able to tighten the fit. Imagine, I learned something from an 8 week old puppy. Now the slippers fit perfectly - Bow WOW!

Best slipper ever bought. I filtered for slippers in a wide because I had foot surgery this past summer. I wear 6 and it w true to size and the wide was perfect. The inside is plush and great foam. I don't have arch issues so I cannot report on that.

These are sooo comfy, like walking on marshmallows. I have a high arch and the arch in these slippers fit my entire high arch area. Great slipper and so very warm!

I got these for my mom, she wears an 8 wide and the shoe fits great. Mom likes the hard soles she feels like she will not slip on the floor.
