Just received my KUHL Spyfire Jacket "Raven" in black, just in time for a cold chill here in Illinois. Great for a very lightweight material that has the warmth of a heavier coat. I wore it in temps that are in the 30's and was very comfortable and not hot. Then the next day we had single digit temps. I wore it out all day shopping and was comfortable. Never got cold. I would highly recommend this jacket. BTW received a lot of complements on the sleek style. Definitely a must have!!! I wear 6-8 and a medium fit great!

This jacket is super sleek and stylish...more of a city/going out style. Love the cobalt blue inner lining and soft shell fabric across upper back and shoulders....the fit is true to size, but for me, the waist flares out at the hips too much. My friend has a little more booty and it looks great on her. (I'm 5'7" 125lbs narrow hips). Kuhl nailed it with the quality of fabric and attention to detail with the Spyfire.....wish it fit me, but my friend is super happy!!

This jacket is my new Texas winter jewel! I wasn't sure if the Kuhl Spyfire jacket was actually my typical style, but upon trying it on, I was hooked! It is a warm jacket without the bulk of a typical winter coat and without sacrificing style. I have worn this about everyday since I received it. This jacket has perfectly placed pockets with a cute royal blue lining, which gives the jacket more character, and the best part is, that it is fitted and runs true to size! This being my first Kuhl purchase, I definitely plan on keeping an eye on this functional, yet stylish brand.

I love my new Kuhl Spyfire lightweight down jacket. It is the perfect weight being not to heavy of a down jacket. I live in Maui which you think of hot, however, I live at 3000 foot elevation and during the winter months our weather gets to be about 52-60 degrees in the morning and evenings. I know, that sounds ridiculous to people on the mainland that that would be cold. But for Hawaii, that is cold! I find this jacket to be the perfect weight for the colder morning and nights while walking my dog. It is also water repellent which is great for the winter months when we get more rain. Best of all it has a great fit and is on trend in style. I wear a size 4 and the size small fits me perfectly. Only issue I don't love is when the jacket is fully zipped the high neck feels a little too high on my neck. It doesn't choke me but I know it is there. This is why I gave it 4 stars. If I don't fully zip the jacket up to my neck it feels awesome and I love it. In general the jacket is super soft and a perfect lightweight down jacket for cool but not freezing climates. I am going to Alaska next summer on a cruise and this will be the perfect go to jacket to bring on this trip!

Cute coat. I was excited about the sleek look combined with the warmth of 800 downfill. I think the XL was too big for me in the mid-torso, but ok in the shoulders. Being a swimmer build, we get used to that scenario. It is a very cute coat, I really liked it...I just wished it fit better for me.

Kuhl is one of my favorite brands. The Spyfire jacket did not disappoint. It is a blend of style, function and flattering fit. It is cut to narrow the waist and has zippered pockets to fit ID or a phone. Only reason I did not give it all five stars is because the collar hits the chin when zipped up. However if one is lucky enough to have a tall neck, then this is moot point.

I wanted to love this jacket but it was really quite small for its size as compared to competitor's. I'm a solid size 12 in clothes and I wear an XL in coats, but this XL was tight across the chest and I definitely would not have been able to layer under it at all. The Blue Depths color was exactly as pictured and gorgeous, but it wasn't enough to make me consider the frankly exorbitant price for an ill fitting coat that also wasn't particularly warm.
