These shoes look good and feel great. I am on my feet all day and these sneakers are so comfortable. They do run a half size big and they stretch a little bit, I wear a 9 and I purchased a 8.5 and they fit perfectly.

Great sneakers, really cool looking! They do fit a little smaller than most other sneakers I own, I had to size up a half size.

Very pleased with my purchase! Was a bit worried the fit may be too narrow; it was not. Very comfortable -- I did not experience ankle discomfort as some people commented. They already felt broken in! Perfect for riding my bike. I also live in a rainy climate and there is extra protection (sort of like this plastic strip thing) around the base of the shoe (beyond the sole) so my feet do not get wet. The gold is rad and I will likely get more colors in the future.

I bought this shoe for my teenage son, a soccer player who wanted better support in his everyday sneaker. These not only look sharp (they are not quite as white but more tan than the photo) but also offer more arch support than similar casual athletic shoes. This is his second pair! And size 12 is perfect; sometimes he has to go up to a 13--in Puma's especially.

This is my second purchase of the same exact shoe, same color. Bought my previous pair in the summer of 2008 and gave them a good breaking-in, wearing them nearly every day since then for 3 years -- spring, summer, fall, winter. Extremely durable. Will donate old pair -- still a perfect shoe, just wanted a clean new pair.

Love these great, casual kicks. Perfect for running around town on the weekend. Fit is comfortable. Note these are actually mens shoes, so they are a bit wide and if you have a narrow foot they may not fit well. Great gripping soles. They do get dirty quickly as they are light colored shoes, but a little Folex spot cleaner works like a charm.

I originally bought these simply because I liked how they looked. To my surprise, they quickly became my favorite pair of shoes because of their incredible comfort as well. The arch support is especially comfortable.

Love these shoes! I bought a pair in black in NYC in September and couldn't wait to buy another pair. They are comfortable and versatile and I've gotten complimetns on them every time I wear them.

Never bought sneakers online before so I was a little nervous at first as to how they were going to look and fit. When they arrived I couldn't have been more pleased. Overall they're a cool looking sneaker for kicking around in. Well ventilated so they should be really good come summer time. I did order up a half size larger and that worked fine as I can slide them on and off without having to tie them all the time and they still fit well so no worries about them falling off your feet. Really like them a lot and will be getting a few more pairs in different colors.

I'm a boy and I really need a shoe that's lightweight & flexible and still be durable & provide good protection at the same time. Ultimate 81s are the shoes that fulfill my dancing needs. Insoles are good. But I would rather replace with a running insert. Doesn't help that the stock insoles are glued to the bottom of the shoe. Other than that it's an awesome shoe!

I have around 7 Mexico 66 and this is my 3rd Ultimate 81. Onitsukas are so comfortable plus Zappos service is AAA.

I've bought 2 pairs of the Ultimate 81s now and I love them both. For a lightweight shoe they have good arch support and my feet never feel fatigued from a full day. All of them come with 2 pairs of laces in different colors so you can customize them a little. They definitely turn heads with some of the more bold color combos.

These are great-looking, casual shoes. Mine actually came with both the white laces (shown) and a set of orange laces that match the orange stripe. The break-in period on these is a bit long and they're not super-supportive, but if you don't have any foot problems you shouldn't worry. I always have to buy a size 11 in the Onitsuka Tigers when I normally wear an 11.5.

Perfect shoe for Kung Fu, Tai Chi. Super comfortable, true to size. And beautiful colors, too!

I ordered the Onitsuka Tigers to do my Tai Chi in. I searched everywhere at malls and stores and couldn't find anything half as good. I am more then satisfied with their performance. They are extremely comfortable and stylish too. I was happy with the price and speedy delivery too! Thanks Zappos, and to anyone looking into buying these I would definitely recommend them.

I got a recommendation for these from someone, and they did not disappoint. A little difficult to get on the first few times, but wore in well. Also came with a second pair of laces, one matching the upper, and one white.

Excellent shoe. Comfortable, flat bottom without too much support (which I don't need). Looks snappy. Has a stiff bottom. Ordered up to a 12.5 from my usual 12, fits like a charm. Be warned though, if you have very short socks, the shoe may chafe at the back around your tendon area.

I originally bought this shoe in the spring of last year (2010). Thought it would be a stylish summer change of pace from my flip flops. I love the comfort of the shoe - not much to them as far as footbed padding, etc, but somehow, they are extremely comfortable. They fit a guy with size 14 feet that are a little wide like a glove (doesn't happen often for me) and I really love them. I just ordered my second pair, as the others are getting a little ratty looking from use, but still in great condition. I even took up running this spring, and these shoes were the ones I used until I bought "running shoes." Still not convinced that these are better for that than my $100+ running shoes. The folks at the running store took one look at them and were in disbelief that I was using them, but I had zero problems with them. Highly recommend for both style and comfort.

I was looking for a shoe that would comfy to wear at my job (where I'm standing for about 8 hours at a time): I found the shoe with these Asics. Not only are these shoes stylish, but they are ridiculously comfy! I usually like to keep my kicks relatively clean, but faghettaboutit! These shoes are too comfy to make me want to not wear them everywhere I go. Do yourself and your feet a favor and buy these.
