These immediately became my favorite shoes. Incredibly comfortable and bend in exactly the right places, I almost feel like they are more like heavy duty socks.

Love the Ultimate 81 for a number of reasons. They have that thin sole that I look for in most Tiger kicks, with a little more cushion in the heel. Though, as far as sneakers go, the sole is still very low profile. Also, unlike many other Tiger styles, they don't have that pointy toe. They look great with jeans or shorts and perfect summer shoe. They are light, and they breathe well. Conversely, this also means they are not very waterproof. They come in a variety of fun styles. They run a little large. I usually wear 10.5 but for these I go with a 10.

Awesome shoes. I've got a high arch and was a little concerned about the arch support, because the shoes don't appear to have much, but my feet feel surprisingly supported. They're comfortable, light weight and I love the classic look. I'm planning to get different color soon.

I really like these. They are comfortable, cute, and lightweight. I will probably get another pair, but I cannot decide what color...

As a woman with size 12.5 feet, I have the hardest feet to find shoes for. And for some reason, when it comes to sneakers, I always end up with ugly old man tennis shoes. I was feeling sad and depressed about my feet - after having a baby, I had only but one severely worn out pair of Mary Janes to wear. My one pair of flip flops had been stolen and I couldn't freaking walk anywhere in those stupid Mary Janes. So I finally decided to invest in a pair of walking shoes. I fantasized about leather and pumps and ooh strappy sandals! But let's face it, I have a kid and I need something practical. However, I was determined not to have old man sneakers nor or old lady Crocs (dude you should have seen the Crocs I had to wear while I was pregnant, it was not pretty), never again! So I scoured and searched the athletic shoe section here on Zappos, hoping to find something to soothe my barking dogs and maybe look at least a little fun. I finally came across these Asics, and thought, hey! These look nifty. They had slightly better reviews than Vans and the price was decent. And they come in a sassy shade of green! Practical, yet youthful. There wasn't a whole lot of jibber jabber about how this would affect my running/climbing/workout routine - I really just wanted a pair of shoes I could wear to work and maybe wear to a social engagement and not look totally boring, or alternatively, have giant blisters on my toes from heels that were too high. Anyways - these looked perfect. They came in the mail after a couple of days. I noticed Zappos doesn't do the overnight shipping anymore, but it was still free and still very speedy. I excitedly slipped these on my feet, though I expected the worst. Rarely, if ever, have I put a pair of shoes on my feet and not felt some kind of pinch or rub or saw my toe popping out the top. But I was pleasantly surprised - these fit perfectly!! They are snug but do not have any "hot spots" whatsoever. They provide great support for my flat Flinstone feet, but are not clunky at all. In fact, considering these are a Men's size 11, I'm shocked that they're men's shoes at all; they look quite feminine, though not overly girlie. You could say they're a good style for a 20-something hipster type like myself. I appreciate how practical they are - I can take a walk with my kid in the mornings, and go to work in the same shoes, but not look inappropriate (then again my workplace is pretty casual). These are really a great all-purpose shoe. The material is very breathable, and my feet don't feel sweaty or hot at the end of the day, despite living in the Texas heat. And they fit great on my wide feet! So, super cute, super comfortable, these are great shoes!

The shoes came quickly and the white on the shoes isn't too obnoxious making you want to get them a little dirty; it's just right. I got these as a gift and he's an 11 to an 11 and 1/2, got him the 11 1/2 and he said they fit really well!

I purchased these for my husband. They look good. He loves them. He wears them everywhere and they look good. He says they fit really good which is huge coming from him because he has flat feet and shoes never fit him correctly.

These shoes are awesome. Lightweight, comfortable, classic design. Not too simple so that they are boring, not too complicated so that they look stupid. I wear an 11 or 11.5 in most shoes. I got these in 11 and they fit perfectly. A few details on the materials that you can't tell in the pictures: the grey areas in front of the white strips are a perforated mesh type, which allows are to easily pass through but is not translucent at all. from the first stripe back, the grey areas are a nylon material, very reminiscent of 80's windbreaker jackets. The sole felt rather hard at first, but they are surprisingly comfortable. I ran a 5k with these and felt great the whole time. The white part on the back that says Tiger is actually reflective, although you can't tell in normal light. The green areas are all some kind of dense felt-like material and don't look anything like suede initially, but with a bit of use the grain comes up a bit and it looks more like suede (in case that matters to you). Mine came with additional green laces that match the green on the shoes. I sprayed mine down with SchotGuard and there was no discoloration.

I had read a lot about what shoes are good for training in general (weight lifting, running, etc.) and these came up in many forums. I decided to go with the charcoal/black combination and I love them. My brother made fun of me and asked "You work out in bowling shoes?" Of course he was kidding, because they look really sleek and stand out. The flat bottom sole provides support when doing squats or power-cleans and they are really a great pair of shoes for a decent price.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. Everyday sneakers that are comfortable and stylish but not big and bulky like my running shoes. They are a great buy!

Order these a few months ago so I've had a chance to evaluate them. First, these (to me) are incredibly comfortable. Surprisingly so, considering they're fairly narrow. I add custom insoles which makes them fit a little snug but not uncomfortable. I wear 12 in Nike's and ordered these in the same size. These are pretty true to size. Additionally, I prefer to pair these with jeans as they have amore elongated appearance.

Even though these shoes are light and comfortable they should only be bought if you like getting compliments from total strangers.

Purchased these for my girlfriend and she absolutely loves them! Not only do they look great, but they are incredibly comfortable and sporty. Some say these are a half-size bigger than marked, but we found that to be untrue. But Zappos made it right!

Got them in Kelly green and even though I wasn't expecting it they came with green laces too! Awesome. Ordered half size bigger and they fit great. Width is a bit narrower than most shoes but this is great for me. They feel really comfy and I can feel that shock absorption work. Very happy with them and as always Zappos.

This is my third pair of sneakers by this brand and I am still very satisfied. This shoe has excellent breath-ability in addition to superior comfort and style. It's the ultimate 81, and it is the ultimate purchase.

Awesome shoes! Love the design and comfort. Glad it came in different colors so I was able to choose which one fits my personality. Hope they will be available when I need replacements in the future.

Love the shoe. Frankly, I was surprised just how comfortable they are. I'm considering buying another pair in a different color because I like them so much.

My guess is that this shoe will have limited appeal unless one has narrow feet and a low to moderate arch which I do. So for me it's excellent because I can rarely find a shoe that fits. Note too that this model is similar to a "running flat" so there's minimal cushion and you need to have an awareness of good running/jogging form.

I loved the color and fit. They fit true to size and I like how light the shoes are. They are comfortable for all day wearing with no break in period.

I bought them because I liked the "old school" look. Very light and comfortable all day long. I worried about the width being too narrow but they were fine, I ordered my regular size. I've had compliments on them where ever I've worn them.

I got these right before my trip to Boston. They're stylish and surprisingly comfy. Not a running shoe, in my opinion, but it was comfortable enough for me to run around in downtown Boston. Sightseeing in speed mode. I love them and I'm going to purchase another pair soon.

Great shoe, very comfortable. I have a wide foot and this shoe fit great. Comes with another set of shoes laces to further customize your look. Very satisfied!
