Awesome shoes love them. From the second I put them on they felt super comfortable. I got them for short runs (2-4miles) and Crossfit they preform beautifully. Being over 200lbs with flat feet I sometimes have planter fascia issues if i go too minimal with my running shoes but find the super padded motion control shoes too bulky and heavy causing me to hill strike. Theses shoes seem just right some where in the middle enough support so my feet don't hurt but still light weight responsive and mobile. They also remind me a lot of the feel of my old wrestling shoes so if you are a wrestler there might be an advantage to training in these.

I just ordered my second pair of these shoes. I use these shoes to workout specifically for crossfit. These shoes are great for lifting, short runs (under 5 miles), jumping, lateral movements etc. Not only do they work well, but they also look awesome. I frequently get compliments. They are a good workout shoes and good for going out on the town. I am about to order a 3rd pair so I can have one for the gym and one for going out.

For someone who is 6'5", 260 opunds with size 14 feet I have a hard time finding shoes. The weird thing about my feet is technically they are 14s (so says the foot measurer thing) but I never wear that size. I go any where from a 12 to a 15! It just depends on the shoes. My feet are pretty normal when it comes to width and arch. So when picking these shoes up I was very cautious. This was my first time ordering clothes online but I just could not seem to find an awesome pair of sneakers. Thank god for Zappos! Anyway I got the black/gray/lime color. I just got them today and wow! I was so nervous to put them on. First I tried them on without socks. Fit like a glove! Very comfortable! Perfect if you like to go no socks with shorts. Very breathable and light weight. Perfect for running. After that I put socks and some jeans on and noticed them getting a tad tighter due to the socks. But I am sure they will loosen up. But be warned they are pretty tight shoes. As I said I am sure they will loosen up a tad though. Also I noticed people complain about the heel collar. I have not noticed it. But I did notice it feels like my foot does not completely sit in the shoe. But not to where it is annoying. I think my foot just has to mold with the shoe. Other than that this are very comfortable! Style wise they are awesome! Very nice retro style! Flashy but not too crazy! Since these are very thin style shoes I would recommend not wearing super baggy jeans with them. I wear a loose straight legged jean and I feel like those are even a tad too baggy. The tighter the jeans the better these will look but they still look great. I have noticed some glue but not a huge deal. You can always take a knife and scrap it away. So to end. If you are a big guy like me. Got big feet but shoes never fit you right trust me these will. I got a 13 and it fits great! And I am sure it will be dream with a little wear! Thanks, Zappos!

I just purchased my third and fourth pairs of Ultimate 81s. They are awesome, unique shoes for daily wear and they make great driving shoes as well. Downsides are susceptibility to water and lack of arch support. Some styles also use leather in the heel that can rub and cause blisters during initial break-in.

If you have been the type of person to wear skate shoes like Etnies or indoor soccer shoes like Adidas sambas then you should like the all day comfort of these shoes. I found them to be comfortable, stylish, and still good for my modest workouts. They have a decent cushion for running and are pretty light but will not compare to the modern running shoes that cost twice the price. For the price of these shoes they are awesome because they hit a lot of marks in the features you would want from a shoe.

These are my new go-to sneakers. I have bigger feet (size 10) and sometimes sneakers make them look like boats but these are flattering and cute and I get compliments on them all the time. It was a nice touch that they came with a second set of laces (bright orange/red to match the stripe on the bottom of the army green ones), along with the plain white ones. I live in the city and walk a lot, and they've been comfortable from the first time I wore them - no blisters. I will definitely get other colors in the future.
