Love these shoes. They fit perfectly and are very light. Been wearing them almost every day since I bought them!

I recently purchased some snow boots from Zappos and was pleased with the overall buying experience with my VIP membership, so I looked again to Zappos for a pair of shoes. I didn't know what shoes I wanted, I just like lightweight, comfortable, cool-looking shoes. The Onitsuka Tigers had very good reviews and many color choices to choose from, even some exclusive colors. After reading a handful of reviews, I made the purchase and have really liked them. I have even gotten quite a few compliments on them. At first, the arch support was a little stiff, but after breaking them in, I have been completely satisfied with the fit and comfort. If you want a great looking shoe, that is comfortable and lightweight, the Onitsuka Tigers fit the bill.

Great everyday shoes. I've owned 6 pairs of the Ultimate 81's and it's my favorite shoe for everyday wear. Whether on your feet all day or not, these shoes stay ventilated and comfy. And if you need to run from cops and jump a fence at a moments notice. Well, they're still asics.

I really like Onitsuka Tiger. These are the third pair of shoes I've gotten from Asics. I find the fit is true to what it is said to be. It's a lightweight shoe, wind can blow through fairly easily. The one thing I noticed that bummed me out a bit, was normally they include a second set of laces, usually a different color to change out if you want, and they didn't include them. It's not a deal breaker by any means, just a little bummed.

Good shoe. I have a black pair that I purchased from Journeys, and that pair did not have the extreme arch support than the ones I bought off Zappos. May be good thing for some people, but I do not need the extreme arch. Overall, pretty good.

Comfy shoe, no break in necessary. Noticeable arch support. The shoe is definitely a more narrow shoe but fine for me as I have average feet. Not too narrow. The shoe sole is molded for shape of step movement so rolls with step of foot. I got the black/steel gray and the black is sort of a really dark denim look but still neutral look to it. I usually wear 6.5-7 in womens, 6.5 fit perfect in these. Can't slip the shoe right off as inner surface is grippy so grips against sock. They are a bit slick on smooth wood or muddy surfaces but otherwise, I love the shoe.

It's been about 3 years since I last bought a new pair of shoes and I've been looking at the Asics Ultimate 81 for quite a while. Then one day I decided "I'm buying this," when the new color Black/Fiery Red was released. Bought it, shipping was about 5 bucks from where I was at and had to wait 5-7 days. Being a person that likes to check the shipping status, I saw that it wasn't budging from the main place for about two days. I went on Zappos customer service and sweet mercy, the friendliest service ever. They bumped my original shipping from 5-7 to 3 days and it took no less than 5 minutes. Once I got the shoes, I was overwhelmed on how light it was and the quality. My feet can breathe compared to my previous shoes: Puma G. Vilas. These shoes make me feel like I'm a ninja. I've been having these shoes for about two months and I would buy again, in different colors next time.

These shoes are excellent. I got my first pair back in 2009, and apart from my big tow burrowing its way through the bottom, they lasted me at least two years of solid use. They are very comfortable, have excellent support and look very nice. Just ordered my 2nd pair because I know that they will last.

Extremely comfortable arch support, as well as all-around comfort. Not big and bulky; trim and nice low profile. No big thick sole, just a nice, normal thickness and did I mention really comfortable? Look great! Fit true to size and medium width. Perfect sneaker, no kidding.

Sweet shoes. You don't need me to tell you that if you're looking at these. As for fit, for casual wear I'm usually either 10.5 or 11. I think I read some previous reviews about the Ultimate 81's that said to go for the 11 in this case. That worked out great since there were no 10.5's available. I usually like my shoes snug, it's my worst nightmare to have a shoe that I end up dragging in the back or the toe catches the ground in the front (or even the sensation like that might happen is enough to bother me). That said, the 11's are good for me. They are a bit more loose than some of my other Tigers but not to the point where they bother me at all (and I am very picky). I think if I had tried the 10.5 the might have been tight on the sides around the toes...it's hard to say for sure though.

The type of material that is on the shoe looks slightly different than whats pictured, its kind of a cheap looking plastic type of material that makes them look like old people shoes but I still like them. Good shoes at a good price, worth the purchase.

Very comfortable shoes. I walk between 3 buildings on asphalt all day, these shoes are very comfortable! I don't need my arch support insert with these shoes. I also like that the shoes are very quiet when walking across hard floors.

Let's start by saying I've had health issues affecting my feet for years. Gave up the fancy pretty shoes for comfort. Tried these at the suggestion of my daughter. I wasn't sure if they would work, but when you're desperate... After they arrived I put them on to walk around the house a bit, I was happily surprised with the arch support and not too much not too little. And they are flexible too! I've since worn them to work and out shopping and my feet are happy. You know what, I'm happy! These shoes not only look cool they are some of the most comfortable and supportive shoes I've ever worn. Try them, you won't be disappointed.

They felt snug at first but play with the lasses then they will feel just right. Liked them so much I'm getting my second pair today.

The color was spot on. They are very comfortable, and they fell true to size. I have gotten several complements on them since I purchased them. I would highly recommend them if you like old school sneakers.

I love Asics and I love these shoes. I wear them all day while I am at work. At first it feels like there is no support, but at the end of the day my feet still do not hurt (and I am on my feet most of the day). In fact, it is not until after I take my shoes off that my feet start to hurt (probably from being on them so much). I would recommend getting these.

I love these shoes, they fit well, and go with skinny jeans as well as boot cut pants. They are comfortable and great to wear at any casual event. These are not running shoes.

I love these shoes. So comfortable for these old Boomer feet. I would have preferred a shoe with a more subtle accent, as I am a senior, but, for a young person, the flash of gold is cute. Added bonus is that they come with an extra set of laces that match the gold accent. I have gotten several compliments on these shoes. But the best part is that I can walk around all day in them.

This is the second pair of these my son has had. They are a little pricey, maybe because they are all adult sizes, but after trying several brands and styles, they are his preferred shoe for parkour. They are flexible and grippy, and have a flat bottom so are perfect for parkour. As a mom, I also like that they are surprisingly durable and look super cute!

These sneakers are great. I bought them for my boyfriend who is constantly on his feet for work and will have throbbing pain by the end of the day. They're casual enough for everyday wear but also can be dressed up a bit if you want. Great support and breathability. We have already purchased these sneakers in other colors too. A must have in my opinion.

While these are great shoes comfort and looks wise, I just do not think they are worth this price. The materials are quite basic and inexpensive. Having said that, if you love your Tigers, then buy the 81s without delay.

Love these sneakers! I found them after an extensive search for minimalist shoes, which I needed for Crossfit. While these have been around way before the "minimalist" craze hit, I've found them to be just right for me. They're sturdy enough for weightlifting and light enough for running and jumping. My first pair wore out after using them for about a year, which is probably about average with most sneakers.

Only heads up is that you should order a size larger than what you normally wear (I normally wear a women's 7 and had to order these in an 8). The other thing to consider, as another reviewer noted, is that different colors fit differently because of the fabric differences. Overall, absolutely love these shoes-- classic look that won't go out of style anytime soon!
