Love these shoes. They are the perfect light & comfortable sneaker. True to size.

This is my absolute favorite pair of shoes. I own about 12 pairs of them and this one color combination (white with red and black trim is my favorite, I am on my fourth set). I have wider feet and normal heels. Pumas do not fit me not do a most others which is why I keep going back to the Asics ultimate 81 style. Believe it or not they wash really well. I just throw them in the wash with a little spray and wash beforehand and they look new again. I travel for work most of the year and they are light and pack well. These are just casual and comfortable street shoes. There is not much cushioning or arch support so do not plan on running on a tread mill with them. Not all casual Asics fit the same, the Ultimate 81 just works for me.

These shoes are stylish and comfortable casual sneakers. They're not designed for grueling athletic use and such use is certain to destroy them rapidly. However, if you use them as a casual sneaker they're very light, comfortable, and eye-catching (especially if you don't want to be just another Nike swoosh on the street). They ran half a size small for me, but I have long narrow feet with high arches. Arch support was moderate, but acceptable. I have zero buyer's remorse and will probably buy another pair when my current ones die.

This is probably my 8th pair of Ultimate 81's. My go to shoe. Lot's of great color schemes to choose from, reasonably priced, comfortable, everything I love in a shoe. Good Arch Support, Even in the old pairs I have kicking around for yard work. Will be buying another pair soon.

These shoes are great, They still lack some flexibility when it comes to kung fu stretches, but I feel it's just a matter of time before I break them in. I will get some mileage out of these too. Kung fu shoes usually wear out too fast.

These remind me of my Asics Tiger wrestling shoes back in the early 90s, but with a thicker sole. They are quite light, but yet still substantial. The width of the sole in the heel is a little narrow and thus I am not highly confident in the stability (you could roll your ankle), but this is typical of these retro style shoes. There is nothing advanced about the design, and these are not very good at absorbing shocks but it is a classic, super comfy and sweet shoe. I love them and use them as cross trainers. You feel fast in them because they are so light and fit so well. To those complaining about the ankle, I don't get it and can't imagine anyone having an issue as the foam is quite squishy there and couldn't possibly put pressure on or rub the ankle.

I have narrow feet. These shoes hold my heel yet still have some room in the box. Beefy enough for all day walking yet still light weight. Would not recommend for wide feet. I also have Mexico 66 which are slightly lighter, more flexible, and sleeker but slightly less support. Both are excellent shoes.

These are great shoes, I have owned more tigers than any other brand. I love the Mexico 66 and figured that the sizing would be the same so I ordered a 12. It turns out that that was too large so I exchanged them for an 11½ which was perfect. The black on black makes great work shoes - I get a lot of compliments. Ultimate 81 rocks.

I bought these for my husband - he wears size 14 and they fit great, light but supportive, nice styling, great price, great casual shoe that can support a 6'6" 250 pound guy and still look good!

Terrific shoe. Comfortable as you would expect from Asics, with some added arch support that feels luxurious. Retro style that plays well with jeans or casual pants kicking around the city.

Love these. I bought the Navy/Gold for casual wear & walking. They are so comfortable and stylish with good arch support.

These are great shoes for martial arts. They provide good ankle support and more cushioning than other flat-soled shoes I've tried. My only complaint is that I need to replace them every 9 months or so, but I put them through a pretty torturous workout.

I loved these sneakers but I was looking for something a tiny bit "dressier." Otherwise, I like everything about them. Fit true to size, super comfortable to wear all day and look cool!

Love these shoes. Comfy and good arch support! My size is usually 6, but I ordered 6.5 and is good. However, if you want to wear thick socks, I need size 7.

Awesome shoes. Very comfortable and durable. I'd recommend giving yourself an extra 0.5" on the size for your toes but other than that I really like these.

Fit great for my feet. Look sharp. Great for everyday wear. Don't think I would use these for athletic purposes.

Ultimate 81s have been my only sneaker for about a decade. They're lightweight, look awesome, and hold up pretty well as a casual street shoe. If you've never owned the Ultimate 81s before, there are some things you should know: The lighter-colored panel above your toes is very breathable. But this means that it lets water in too. The shoe is soft and flexible. It doesn't support your foot so much as wrap around and cushion it. The foot bed is pretty flat, though it does have some arch support. As you break in your shoes they'll start to conform to the shape of your foot better.

Love these shoes! These are my fifth pair of tiger shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes I have purchased. Looking forward to purchasing other colors.

These are comfortable and did what I wanted: a running shoe that could pass as a dress shoe. It's a light shoe with a small (maybe 5/8 inch) heel.

These are my new favorite shoes ever made in the history of shoemaking. Light, durable, and they feel like they were custom made for my foot. I have narrow feet, and these are perfect - no wiggle from side to side and good arch support. I ordered the black/charcoal, and they came with three sets of laces - gray, white, and black. Bonus! And they look like they were made for a ninja - double bonus!!

These were my second pair. They are my favorite shoes. They run a bit narrow so you might want to get a 1/2 size larger than usual.

Currently wearing them. Still love them. I've worn other Onisuka Tigers previously, and they are pretty much the same. Probably a little more comfortable with a little thicker sole which provides some cushion. I waited for the leaf green color to come back in stock in my size, and I'm glad I did. They look awesome, especially with the orange laces that come with them. Pretty much the only small complaints I have are that the pad for the back of the ankle can grab onto socks while putting the shoes on, and the sole can make some goofy sounds on certain floors when you first get them. Overall, very happy with them. I would buy them again if I had to remake the choice.

I'm a vegan and it's hard to find good VEGAN SHOES. There are so many toxins in the leather tanning process, so this non-leather shoe is great for everyone. They are nice an light, very breathable, and have great support. Very well made a sturdy, and very stylish. This is my third pair of these.

These shoes speak sweat nothings to my feet. Love 'em. Tried others. Always come back to Ultimate 81's.

Great fit, I wear a size 11 Adidas and the size 11 was spot on. I've always been a Samba guy, but the comfort on these is incredible. Great cushioning. Laces are nice and thick, seem durable. Only worry is that the toe upper is a mesh and may wear through over time.
