I've worn this shoe for years. These are as cute as ever, but they run really narrow.

This stylish shoe has a slim silhouette and good arch support. However, the soles are too thin. You can feel every pebble or bit of uneven pavement when you walk.

These shoes run long. The US sizes seem to be off standard. For example, EU size 39 is usually a US women's size 8.5, but Onitsuka Tiger considers it to be a women's 7.5. Their US size 8.5 is EU 40. For running shoes I wear US W9, which is usually EU size 39-40. However, the Tigers I ordered say US9, EU40.5. Too big, going back. I would recommend going by the EU sizes, if you know yours. So sad -- the shoes are so cute, and they are out of stock so I can't exchange them. But some lucky person will get them....!

oh dear god these shoes made me feel like when i was a kid and got new shoes. Haven't felt that way about a pair of sneakers since the 1980's. ugh

I love these! They are my new gym shoe. I love how they feel with much less support than I usually have used in the past. It is a very nice change.

Been wearing 81s for many years. Bu far, my favorite casual sneaker. Super light, comfortable, and look great w/ jeans or shorts. The only problem is w/ the sole at the tip of the toe. Every pair I’ve had, the tip of the sole eventually starts to come unglued. This is the only issue I have w/ these sneakers, but it’s a big one! Not sure why they can’t redesign or use different adhesive so this doesn’t happen.

Great fit right out of the box. Very comfortable - Highly Recommend!

these shoes are dope and pretty

These are by far the best sneakers I've ever owned. They look great, are incredibly comfortable, and maintain a high level of firm support over many years. When other sneakers give out, these keep on going. My go to shoe, and the sneaker I wear when another pair of shoes has made my feet sore.

These were purchased to replace my Saucony Bullet classics and I'm pleased. The fit is true to size, somewhat narrow, low profile and good for hiking. I had a prior version of this same sneaker, that I probably got in 2020 or so. This never version looks 'cheaper'. The sneaker feels lighter, and much of the body of the sneaker is made of like a synthetic 'mesh' type fabric.

These shoes fit wonderfully and they look great, I couldn't ask for more in a casual shoe. But look at the product photo of the charcoal/black, and notice those two threads sticking up near the left-front, where the pinky toe is? That's just the beginning. I've owned two pairs of Ultimate 81s and within a year both pairs - and both shoes, right and left - had holes big enough to wiggle your pinky toe through. I've had other Tigers that didn't do this, so I guess chalk it up to a design flaw, it's just a shame because it makes the shoes unwearable after a while.

These are great! I saw them on a fashion blog and was so happy to find them on Zappos! Ordered a 9.5, but they felt a bit short. The 10 was perfect ( Depending on whe style and where the shoe is made I go between both sizes).

These always look great but could be a bit more comfortable and better made. Had a pair years ago and were better made. They also always seem too long.

love the style and fit and comfort. was disappointed with the quality however. see image, this was observed just 2-3 few week of very light usage.

I've owned numerous pairs and styles of Tigers (currently own 3 pairs, buying another) and the Ultimate 81 are my go-to. I stay on my feet a lot, nothing too rigorous, mostly walking, and Tigers tend to last around 3 years before they start falling apart - wearing away of the heel and toe of the insole, holes in the fabric on the top/toes of the shoe, and even wearing a hole all the way through the bottom of the shoe. All of this is to say I love these shoes so much that they're literally disintegrating by the time I replace them with more Tigers. However they are cosmetic over anything else, so don't run or hike in them. They are my perfect casual tennis shoe.

These sneakers are one of very few brands/models that work for my feet, which are "low volume" with a narrow heel but not narrow toes. Narrow shoes pinch my toes, most other shoes let my heels slip around and cause blisters. These are lightweight enough to cling to my foot so the heel does not rub up and down. The downside is lack of support/cushioning. Walk miles on concrete a few days in a row & my arches will hurt.

A little snug in the width but not a deal breaker. Overall cute comfy shoe.
