I have barely worn these and they are already starting to fall apart. The tan rubber sole is coming apart from the canvas toe. Aside from that they don't look as nice in person as I expected. The tan rubber sole looks cheap. I was kind of desperate for basic black vegan sneakers so kept them anyway despite of this, which I now regret.

Right out of the box they looked like used. My expectations were so high for these and I was really looking forward to wearing them, but when I opened the box I was extremely disappointed with the condition they came in. I think the photos speak for themselves.

Loved these shoes! But after 4-5 wears the toe cap started to separate on both shoes. I didn't fall or stand on my tippy-toes or anything. Will be returning these.

I bought these for my husband based on the reviews they had and also based on the Asics purchases that I have made for myself. However, there is little support for the feet and the front of the shoe started pulling away from the leather only after wearing them two times. We will be returning these. Would not recommend them. I am not sure how these shoes got such high ratings from so many wearers.

Sole started ungluing from the toe almost immediately. Arch support was entirely too much in just one foot.

The sole and the material Are both rather thin and seem to be poor quality. Minimal arch support. Would probably require a supportive insert for comfort.

My podiatrist recommended Asics without an arch and to insert my orthodics. I tried them twice for less than 3 miles--ouch! After 4 weeks of rest I am just about recovered -- that did not work for me. Help, sore feet!

So small. I buy Onitsuka Tiger shoes almost exclusively. I wear a 10.5 US. I ordered a 10.5 and they are at least a full size too small. I bought the exact same shoe in a different color with no problems. How is this shoe manufactured a full size too small?! So frustrating. Makes me regret shopping online.

I would reccommend not buying this shoe, the bottoms of the shoe start to come apart only 4 months in. I even returned them once and exchanged for another pair thinking it was a defect and four months later here we are again. I also work in an office so they aren't from wear and tear.

I am returning this item because I am sure it is not sized correctly. I have always worn sized 9 1/2 in all the shoes I have ordered from Zappos and they have always fit me just fine. However, these are too small! Why? Aren't these sized correctly? I am very disappointed with these shoes. Can't believe this sizing is correct. I have always been satisfied with all my Zappos orders but certainly not with this shoe.

Does not fit correctly, back is too high and front is too low. Hits top of foot, cannot even put an orthotic into it!

These sneakers were horribly uncomfortable. I tried ordering a second pair and had the same experience. Moreover, a friend of mine also had the same experience twice as well with tigers ordered from Zappos. There's something wrong with the arch - it's too high in some bizarre way and it's just uncomfortable to walk in them. Also, the gray is much lighter in person than in the photos. I thought these would be a high contrast pair of kicks, but they looked washed out from the beginning.

I've had them for less than 2 months and the bottom sole is already peeling away from the top! I don't use them for exercise or running, so It really doesn't make sense. Yesterday, I just noticed a worn spot on the top where my toe is. I'm not particularly hard on shoes but these look like I've had them for a year or more. So, I can't vouch for the quality of these. Cute, comfy shoe, unfortunately not good quality from my experience.

I've owned a few pairs of these and really enjoy the way they look and fit. I like low profile sneakers and these are among my favorites. The problem is that the quality has gone way down. I ordered a pair last April and within one week, the sole was peeling off of the toe. I wrote Zappos and they replaced them immediately. While Zappos offers a great product, I cannot say the same about Asics. Within a few weeks, my new pair was doing the same thing. Figuring that one pair would be no different than the next, I decided just to live with it. However, the worst was yet to come. The soles have worn completely flat in certain places already. This is especially disappointing considering that they haven't been worn much during this snowy winter. Considering the limited wear time, these shoes have basically worn out in just a few months. My first pair lasted a couple years so needless to say, I'm not impressed with Asics' new business model. Oh, and they're more expensive now too. Time to start shopping for a low profile shoe company that wants to keep my business.

These shoes are narrow across the toes and have no removable insole for replacing with orthotics. I ordered the men's size 4 women's 5.5, but they would only fit a child's foot. The material is not sturdy enough to consider use for sports.

These look really awesome. However, I found out after a few times of wearing them the left shoe is crushing the back of my ankle. They fit fine, it is just the angle that the back of the shoe has is putting pressure on my tendon making it painful to walk/run or wear for days, so I stopped wearing them. Since I ran outside in the mud I figured Zappos wouldn't take them back.

After a week of wearing the rubber sole is separating from the toe of the shoe and I'll have to return them. Also the color is a very shiny demin, it is not grey and black as I thought from the photo.

Worst shoe ever! Gave me some serious foot problems and had to stop running. Also, they looked really worn just after a couple days of wearing them!

Ugly shoe. The birch color is an awful choice and makes the shoe look dirty. White stripes instead of birch would be much better. Nice design/shape, bad color combination.

If you are into ballet, these are the shoes for you. They are cheaply made, even the shoestrings are too short. My son loves his Asics but these are pathetic! The heel is extremely narrow.

Really confused as to why this was the highest rated black shoe. Very uncomfortable, very stiff and tight on the top of the foot (and I have small feet). Worn twice, gave them away to Goodwill.

I have been using Asics for as wile, both Mexico 66 and Ultimate 81 models. I still buy these shoes because I thought that they last longer than other brands. Nonetheless, four months ago I bought a pair of Otnisuka Ulitimate 81 which I have been using on a regular basis until today (I don't use them every day). Well, after just 4 months of use the shoes present holes in their side, just in the line where foot bends while you are working. I don't think that sneakers should last forever but just 4 months it is completely absurd. Really I should have my money back.

I'm a woman, and I bought the size I normally wear; they are unfortunately too big so I never wear them. Go a half size smaller and maybe even a whole size. After wearing them a few times I realized they're really big, so one whole size might be good too. Good luck and make sure you try them on before you decide to wear them out and keep them. Very pricey too.
