Love these shoes! I love the style, and they are pretty comfortable. I mean, they're not as cushy as walking or running shoes, but I'm comfortable in them all day. My only complaint is that the back of the shoe comes up pretty high and rubs on my heel if I'm wearing pretty low cut socks. It hasn't been too big of an issue, but I wish they didn't come up so high.

I've found these shoes to be quite comfortable for the normal day. I walk quite a bit but its inside generally and on flat ground. Trying to do much anything besides knocking around sounds dangerous. The few times I've tried my feet end up quite sore. These shoes also may not be so great for people with flimsy ankles or real flat feet, like myself. I've noticed my ankle is a little tender after some of the longer days. However, I'd still recommend them highly for a stylish walk-about shoe. Order them half a size smaller if you have skinny feet, I usually wear a 13 but 12 1/2's fit well in this shoe. The color pattern I ordered was darker then I thought it'd be but I think I prefer the black to the green that this picture shows. Again a good shoe for the everyday.

I already have these in black, white, and grey. Those are great. So are these. I got these to liven up my wardrobe so I can wear lighter jeans and more colors. They are comfortable and even good for running in. And they came with the obligatory spare extra set of laces like Onitsuka Tiger does (orange). I put those in after shortly keeping the white laces in and they look nice with them in. Good price and a great pair of kicks. I think they are vegan even (why I like most Onitsuka Tigers), unless the stripes are leather. Probably not, though. Synthetic leather if they are.

I love this shoe so much! The only problem is that they take slightly longer than usual to break in. And they get dirty pretty quickly. But I love them still!

Good shoes. Lightweight and comfortable. They came with a set of black and a set of red shoelaces.

I really like the shoes - they are light and the size is just what I was expecting. My only complaint is that the arch is a little high for me. I have flat feet but normally don't have problems. These shoes feel like the arch is kinda stabbing me. I've had older pairs of the same shoes without this issue.

VERY lightweight shoe. Feels like it will fall apart if I run in it at all...

I ordered the Grey/Sulphur Spring color, the photo shown does not accurately represent the gray color – it’s much lighter color in person. Shoes are pretty comfy; with the nylon toe box they felt broken in right out of the box. Mine did not come with the proper laces, but with a call to Zappos I was taken care of -- Thanks again ZAPPOS!

This is my first review so bear with me. This is a very bright, but fashionable shoe. I get positive comments wherever I go. Everyone seems to like the red and gold. It is a lifestyle shoe and by that I mean not a running shoe. It does not have the support or cushioning for comfortable running. That should be obvious though. It is visibly narrower than most american made/designed shoes. That being said, the fit is true to size. I have no problems with it. It is comfortable for going out in a nightlife type situation, which is where I wear them. I have good arches, so I can’t attest to their arch support. I feel it’s fine. My only mild issue is that the red part is some sort of suede or suede-like material that got dirty pretty fast. It seemed to be magnetically attracted to dirt. They aren’t filthy, but I am a little anal about keeping my shoes nice looking. Because of the material I don’t know if they will clean up nicely with a wet rag as some do or if the dirt will smear. I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. Overall, these shoes are real nice and I would purchase them again. I may not wear them as often to keep them nice looking, but I’m the kind of person that wears shoes as an accessory.

Shoe fits perfect. It’s a little bit shiny which I could have done without. The sole of the shoe feels thin and doesn’t provide that much cushioning. Overall I still like them though 7/10 for looks. 6/10 for comfort.

I have not had the shoe long enough to establish a definitive opinion on it, but in the short run, I love the shoes. The only thing I don’t like about them is that the inside heel is leather, which makes my foot sweat more/doesn’t allow sweat to leave the shoe. Luckily it is only about 10-15% of the surface area so I can deal.

They look and feel awesome. Perfect fit. Only one problem, the stripes on the sides started to break in a couple areas where they crease... they’re made from a less durable material than I’ve had in other Onitsuka shoes. Can only tell if you are looking up close.

Very comfortable shoes. I thought at first that they were too big width wise but now I like that they aren't really tight. I took off points for style because I don't like the view of the toe area from a top view but I love the sides. Overall good shoes, especially for the price.

Good shoe all around, though the heels squeak when sweaty. This happens a lot, since the shoe doesn't breathe very well. Fits true to size, don't order big.

This shoe is sleek and stylish. It is comfortable with minimal cushioning and arch support. Also, the red and orange laces look a little much in person, but you can switch them out for black ones that complement the color scheme without being overbearing. I have had a few pairs of Ultimate 81 over the pas 5 or six years. I even had this color before. Overall, these shoes have a comfortable, slim fit that I like. I have flat arches and wear custom orthotic insoles in all of my shoes. No problems here. My only hang-up is that it is a little expensive for such a low-tech shoe. I expect more cushioning for the price. The shoe's durability makes up for this. It will come apart, but It will last you and look good as it is wearing out.

Love Onitsuka Tigers. They're not your running kind of sneakers, but always have really original colors and are really comfortable. They are not clunky and great for more narrow feet. I've gotten tons of compliments on these. Not a huge fan of the sparkly laces, I plan on changing them to black.

I got this in the zappos exclusive leaf green/white combo with the hint of orange on the sole. They come with white and orange laces. I wear mine with the white. I don\'t dress trendy enough to rock neon orange laces but it\'s nice of them to give you the option.\r\n\r\nFit - They fit true to size, not narrow like the other Tiger styles. I find it strange that their styles all fit differently. I have the rotations in a size 10, these in 10.5 and the mexico\'s in 10.5(tight narrow fit). Out of the 3 styles the rotations are the most comfortable but very flat. The ultimates give you more cushioning. I used to wear converse a lot before I found the Asics Tiger brand and i\'ll never go back to converse. The tiger\'s are much more comfortable and have better styling imo.

Great pair of shoes. Comfortable, lightweight (which I prefer). They breathe really well due to the mesh toe area, which could be a problem if wearing them in cold a$$ weather. Seemed a little pricey, but I would buy another pair. Zappos, get the colors I want in stock in size 9.5!

This is a great shoe, and it looks good on the picture. It runs little long (not exactly big, but the toe box is long). I ordered 6M and 8W. Usually the 8W is perfect size for me. But maybe I could get away with size smaller this time. What is interesting, that when you wear these, they actually make your foot look small. The shoe look small, even that I have a room in front of my toes. I kept these shoes and wear them all the time.

Very comfy and cute for a big and wide foot gal. They are actually a little bigger than expected, but I\'m still keeping them. I probably should have went a half size down.

These are very cute! They are perfect for what I bought them for. They are just casual sneakers to wear around. They're cute, and comfy enough. They're not super comfortable or cushy, but they're not in any way uncomfortable.

Looks really cool. The sole seems to attract dirt and debris easily though. Fits great with no pain or discomfort. Zappos shipping is amazing. These people really strive to keep your business.

I love the way Asics look and I've wanted to purchase a pair of the Ultimate 81s for a while. I got them quickly (Thanks Zappos!), but they weren't what I expected. They're certainly stylish, but on the narrow side. Wore these today in cold wet weather and found them to be a little uncomfortable; the breathable material doesn't keep out dampness or chill. These will be great shoes for the summer, but definitely not year round.

Great looking and generally comfortable shoes. There seems to be a wide array experiences as far as sizing goes. No different here. I normally wear a 12, but 11.5 fit betters length wise. However, the width is correct at 12 and too narrow with 11.5. I'm left debating which (length or width) is more important and/or closer to my foot size. Don't expect much arch support just because it's from Asics. There isn't much, but this is in line with most other shoes of this style.
