Excellent Price, Stylish Look, Moderate Comfort, Flimsy Construction Pros: Could not be more stylish. Not so bright that it looks like you have tropical fish for shoes. But just special enough to go with your low hung jeans and hip sweater. The price is unbeatable. Cons: Remember the low price? Well these shoes have a very flimsy feel to them compared to what consumers reared on New Balance or Adidas may be used to these days. This model is apparently from the 1980s, so you get a nice retro touch. But the bottom of your feet will feel very close to the ground and when you pick up the shoe you'll notice right off how light they are. Just a touch thicker than old Converse All Stars, but not by much. The arch support is moderate, not great. If you pronate at all, do not wear this shoe on a day when you have a lot of walking to do. Overall: a great bargain, but you get what you pay for. If arch support and comfort are important to you, hold out for a similar design from a more contemporary, more pedestrian-friendly, more expensive brand.

Great styling and very comfortable. I have been trying to fill the void from when Asics stopped making the Shihan shoe and the Onitsuka Tiger is a reasonable replacement. It doesn't meld as well to your foot as the Shihan but it is a great shoe for walking and everyday use.

My boyfriend ordered these sneakers and so far he is very happy with them. His only complaint is that they do not have a lot of support, but for casual shoes, they are great. He is between sizes so he ordered two pairs - the larger size fit better so I guess they run a little bit small. Overall these are perfect casual shoes.

I got the black/black version and it's one year later and I am shopping again...for the same shoe. They are totally comfortable and have a thicker sole than most slim fit shoes. I enjoy the fit/style and would order more color combinations -- for sure. Only con -- the Ultimate 81 is a bit more "slim" than they appear online.

I think my feet are normal size / width, so these shoes are comfortable and snug. On rainy days (as are common in Florida), they squeak like crazy when wet, even slightly. Scuff easily, but don't all white shoes?

Nice lightweight shoe, a little narrow so not for people with wider feet. One very comfortable shoe however.

I really like these shoes. The bold colors really stand out. The shoes are comfortable and not too skinny. Arch support is about average for shoes like this so no complaints there. The only gripe I have with these is how easily they get dirty. Any little bit of dirt sticks to them and requires a wash. Luckily they wash easily so all is good.

I bought these for my wife. She really loves them. We are Steeler fans and they are Steeler colors. She says they fit great.

A surprisingly quality shoe. Let's face it, we all by Tiger shoes because they're cool. But this particular model has decent support both in the collar and in the sole of the shoe. I nice bonus is the black honeycomb sole, which provides great traction on wet stone! Random, I know, but that's what's outside my office. Plus, needless to say, they look good, and I get plenty of compliments around the my office-a design studio where this sort of thing matters.

Just a very comfortable shoe. I love the styling and overall fit. My foot is a bit on the wide side with a high arch. hope this helps!

These shoes look great, even in a larger women's size (9). They are not the most comfortable shoes ever, since I had purchased them to be cute shoes for walking around the city; they rub a little in the heel area and the side of the foot. But overall, I like them quite a bit.

I do quite a bit of walking in the city (several miles on the weekends). This is a good city walking sneaker, though I find the arch support a bit aggressive: in these shoes, it feels like I'm standing on a wad of paper stuffed just underneath my arch. It's hard to tell what the overall effect of this is going to be (longer-term foot pain, etc), but for now I can walk without issues. Standing around, you can definitely feel it. As for the look, what you see is what you get, and I like what I see. Works well with jeans and some pants, cords, etc.

These are great shoes! I have been wearing these for at least a month almost everyday minimum eight hours a day. I work in retail, so I am on my feet all day. I have never gone home with sore feet, ankles or legs from these shoes. A huge improvement in comfort over the Chucks that I was living in. The only down side is, I found these to run almost a half size too big. I did not realize this until after a whole day of wearing them.

I was looking for a fun, semi-neutrally colored sneaker to go with jeans. I've started bike commuting a bit, but I didn't want to always be stuck wear my running shoes or have to carry an extra pair of more stylish shoes. These shoes fit the bill and I would totally buy another pair.

These are great looking sneakers; I've gotten a few compliments on them already in the short time that I've had them. They're very stylish and seem to be well made. My only complaint is that they're not the most comfortable sneakers...there's not a lot of cushioning in the soles of the shoe, so wearing them for long periods of time takes some getting used to. They're also somewhat narrow, so I definitely don't feel as stable in these as some of my other sneakers. Neither of these points is really a deal-breaker for me; they're comfortable enough and for a few hours of wearing them, they're fine. Overall, I really like them; they're definitely the nicest looking sneakers that I own and that's all I really expected from them. I definitely wouldn't wear these for any kind of athletic activity though.

Great ligthweight and eye-catching sneakers. Easily washable.

Great shoe. Loved the color. They fit well and I liked how they looked, but I returned them because I wasn't sold on them.

Very light, fair support, sizing runs larger than usual, lacks a solid feeling in construction, but seems to be made with care. My star rating is based on 3 being average.

Nice low profile. A bit too flexible and narrow for running. Not very comfortable but looks good.

Good looking shoe. Works well for hanging out/chillaxing. Tried to wear once to work though. This is not a good shoe for standing for long periods of time. Very little padding, etc. Also, gets easily water-logged if you're walking around in the rain. Overall though, for a off-work shoe, it's great. Sizing: I'm a 11.5 in Asics gt 2150, a 12 in Asics Gel Cumulus, and an 11.5 in Adidas Galaxy Elites. The 11.5 Tiger fits me perfectly.

I love the color of these shoes, especially with the blue laces.

Very light and comfortable. Fairly narrow. A previous review stated that these run large. I found that this is not the case. Overall, I am satisfied with the shoe.

Really cool shoes but have a couple issues: After 1 year of use, they developed severe holes where the toes bend on each side and, of course, the tread wears off. For maybe 6 months these shoes are sweet but you have a limited amount of time to enjoy. They also are difficult to clean so wear them for workouts or running.

Pretty decent. I thought I'd like them more actually, but that's not because of quality. The 81's are wider than some of the other Onitsuka's out there, so be aware of that.

I use these for crossfit. I like them for lifting weights but I do not run, jump rope, or box jump in them. I feel they are too heavy for me but others who have felt them said they are very lightweight. I get compliments on them all the time. They are very comfortable and true to size.
