I used to wear Tigers all the time. This go around I think I'm not going to buy anymore of them. They're light and airy but do not provide a lot of support and feel uncomfortable after wearing them too long.

These fit really well and I was pleasantly surprised at the level of arch support (more than Chucks, but not too much). Perfect for a “walking around town” shoe. The only thing I really don’t like is that the shoelaces are too long and too fat, which makes for a really stupid looking big bow. Easily remedied!

These are the third pair of shoes I have ordered. very fashionable and comfortable. I ware them almost daily for work where I walk a few miles a day in them. I have also worn these when I travel and find them light and versatile.

I normally wear a 7 or a 7.5 in women's shoes, and ordered a 5.5. They felt rather stiff and pinched my toes a little bit at first, even though I had adequate space at the tip of the shoe. I was a little worried at how uncomfortable they were, but after a day or two of wear, they felt molded to my feet and much more comfortable. They're not as soft on my feet as what I wore previously (Saucony Bullets and vegan Jazz Low Pros), but they're still really comfy and the arch support and is much better (a worthy trade-off, in my opinion). I was looking for something with a sleeker profile like the Bullet, but with a thicker sole and leather-free like the vegan Jazz Low Pros, and this fits the bill nicely.

Like the style. I didn’t read the full description very good. Didn’t realize the material was basically corduroy...but I like them. Not super high arch support, but enough. Size was just about a half size too large without socks on. Don’t want to send them back though! Thin socks will fill the gaps!

Ordered my usual 6.5 but the shoe was a half size too long for my foot. The width was perfect, but too much space from top of my toe to the end of the shoe. Sized down and a 6 was unfortunately too small. I love the shoe and Zappos customer service was excellent as always!

These are super cute and bright white. I wore them for about 4 hours and my feet were achy after. I do have foot problems but usually my asics keep my feet feeling good all day. I’ll keep them but just know I can’t wear them long

They lo great, but are not comfortable for all day wear.

Love the look of these shoes and have been wanting a pair for a long time. They are sturdy but seem to run a bit small. I wear between a 7 1/2 or 8 and my feet are normal width so I ordered the 8. Felt snug but I figured with some wear they’d loosen up. Didn’t happen. It was much too small in width and size. So size up!

Love these shoes. Comfortable, lightweight, and fit like they were meant for my feet. Its been many months since I bought these, wearing them every day and I have just now started to see wear on the bottoms. Like them so much I bought another pair in a different color. The only issue is that they are not for wet rainy days, as they water gets in very quickly!

The shoe is cute, but where the top of the shoe hit was uncomfortably tight and the entire length was too big. It did not have as much support as I would have expected from an ASICS either.

Great looking shoe and very comfortable, EXCEPT that the top of the shoe digs into my foot when I walk. I like them enough that I walked around my house trying to get used to it. Alas, they're going back.

Cute, but too narrow. My foot is a little bit wide across the toes, but since these are either men's or women's size, I expected to have a little more width. I was wrong. Returned.

Love this super comfy basic white sneaker that goes with everything and is different enough that it's not like everyone else's basic white sneaker!

Tried these and they were a half size too big...wanted the navy, but they're out of stock.

Love the look of these but they were too narrow and I would say I have average width feet.

I really like the styling of these shoes. They are supportive sneakers, but fairly streamlined--not bulky like many sneakers are. The one odd thing is the arch feels too high. I have a decent arch on my foot, so I've never had a problem before, but the arch is almost uncomfortable in these shoes. But I decided to keep them anyway, and over time this arch issue hasn't posed a major problem.

Due to reviews, ordered a 1/2 size up. much much too big. Normally a women's size 8.5 and a women's size 9/men's 7.5 felt huge

I'm on my fifth pair of Ultimate 81s. My only complaint about this comfortable and stylish sneaker that goes with nearly everything in my wardrobe (and why this is not five stars): the soles wear out quick because they are so thin. But maybe that's because I wear them so much? Either way, great buy.

Feel a little wide compared to other similar shoes. Had Saucony before... I may go back. I use these at work in an office, but walk 1~2 mile per day just in the office going from meeting to meeting, etc.

Not bad for a city shoe. I'm used to shoes that give more support width wise. These feel slightly rounded on the edges of the shoes, probably characteristic of these more narrow shoe styles. Surprising amount of arch support, I thought it'd be close to flat. 4/5 overall! Felt true to width, despite feeling 'narrow' in terms of support. Felt true to size. Moderate arch support.

I bought of pair of these in Black/Birch from Zappos back in early 2011. This pair of Asics Onitsuka Tiger Ultimate 81 that I own are going on five years old now and are still in great shape! Very comfortable, even when having to stand on your feet most of the day. I have had trouble with other sneakers hurting my feet and arches. I am just too old now to wear some of the brands I liked when I was younger. It's even harder to find shoes that are comfortable and last a long time when you want vegan ones. I chose these Asics because they are running shoes & because they (MOST) are vegan. True to fit & I like the style of them. I have large feet for a girl & they don't make me look like I am wearing clown shoes. These don't look worn even after nearly five years of wear. The hemp Adidas I owned before I bought this pair, were blown out with huge holes on the sides after wearing them about the same length of time. While the breathable mesh is nice, it does suck when it's cold out. You get a breeze through your shoe. Other than not being the best footwear for winter, the only other downside is that these have a very soft toe and are not the best for work. If you drop a box on your foot or kick something, you're going to feel it. I was used to the hard toe on Adidas Superstars, but went with these because I had a hard time finding any vegan Adidas that I liked for a long time. Overall, a highly recommended shoe!

I have mixed feelings about these shoes. First of all, they were purchased for front/back yard work hence demands were not high. Overall, good craftsmanship but had to replace one pair cause glue was sticking out of soil. Not very convenient for long walks due to a bit strange arch support but that s may be me the only one brand that always works for me is Ecco. The rest is so-so. The bottom line is to test them before buying.
