An early Christmas gift for my husband and it was a real hit. He loved them and they fit perfectly. The color is very versatile and will go with all of his sport clothes. Mephisto has always been one of his favorite shoe but this is a new look for them. Very smart looking.

You defintely should consider a half size smaller. Although comfortable, it has a more untilitarian type feel and look. It has excellent traction and is an excellent winter option shoe. I was looking for a more summer, fall and spring option, and better style look and light feel. I went with the Match. I may again consider the Paco when time for a late fall, winter, and early spring shoe replacement.

I really like the quality of the shoe but this company needs to start offering a wider shoe for the people with wider feet. I have now tried the Match and the Paco and they are both too narrow in the toe area.

I love Mephisto's as a whole and actually like the look of these (a little cluncky, but nicer than the Match in looks) They were a little too stiff and large in a 10 1/2 for me. I range anywhere from 10-11 in shoes, so will be trying a similar pair, but not sure if moving down to a 10 will help on this one

Actually, they were okay...i just realized my wife bought me almost the same pair for Xmas. Sorry, i have to return these so i don't ruin the holiday :).

Fit is Ok, but they make a squeaky noise when walking. No, they are not new; this happened from day one and never stopped, more than a year later.

The good: Gorgeous and well constructed shoe. This looks and feels like a very expensive shoe, one that's worth every penny. The bad: The collar doesn't have much padding, and it rubbed against my ankle bone in a way that never improved after a month of wear. Depending on your foot, this shoe might not be very comfortable. It certainly wasn't for me, although I wished so much that it were. It also makes a squishy/squeaky noise that isn't very cool. Unfortunately, I had to return my pair, and Zappos customer service was tremendous and accommodating.

Too loose in the heel. Otherwise, fine.

Felt good in the initial try-on. After walking around in them for a while the side of the shoe digs into my ankle and makes it uncomfortable to walk in for anything but short periods.

Leather too stiff, not soft or yielding enough. Feet hurt after wearing them
