Overall 5/5 The Carhartt Denwood Vest is a great product. It is durable, yet casual and serves a great variety of purposes. I gave the Denwood Vest an overall rating of 5 out of 5 and have been thoroughly satisfied with this purchase. Appearance 5/5 I purchased the black version of the Denwood vest. It fits true to size and goes well with almost any color. It is great for work or for casual wear. Not only does the collar looks great, but works great to protect your neck on a windy day. The vest's three external pockets combine functionality without having a gaudy amount of zippers. Durability 5/5 Carhartt is a brand that prides itself on durability, and this vest does not lack in that department. It is 9.4 ounces, made of a nylon spandex blend which is bonded to a poly grid textured fleece. It's rugged, yet flexible. It is great for any type of hands on work indoor or outdoor. While nothing is indestructible, the tough nylon spandex blend in the Denwood Vest is a great, durable material. Quality 5/5 This vest is a great quality for the price. As someone who works outside, I can definitely appreciate the water resistance. Weather is always unpredictable so knowing you won't get sopping wet in this vest is a great feeling of security. As for the casual side, the Wind Fighter™ technology not only is fashionable fabric but is great for when the wind picks up on chilly days. The three external pockets are great in terms of space and are made of tough material to protect against ripping or tearing. The two internal pockets are great for added space or for when you need to keep something safe. My only critique is that the inside pockets do not have any way of sealing them. I hope in future vests they will use Velcro or a zipper so that it is possible to seal those pockets. Comfort 5/5 The nylon spandex blend is quite rugged, yet is quite comfortable and flexible. You will not have any movement restrictions with this vest. They included an adjustable draw cord bottom hem, which helps fit your torso exactly how you like it, and fits true to size. The vest is comfortable for working, and even better for casual wear.

Great vest, but is very generously sized. I'm 6'/235lbs and XL was too big, too long and too wide. Will return for L and hope it works.

Great quality of material, but too long for shorter statures.
