I was so hoping these would fit! They are super cute but the 8 wide felt more like a 7 1/2 medium. ÷(

I love everything about this bootee. I got the blue and it is exactly the color I was thinking of. Nice round toe, just right heel height. Impact absorbent sole. The weight could be lighter but it's not heavy either. Insole is good if you don't need anything extra--pretty thick under the heel which is nice. I need custom medical orthotics but since the insole is removable that's no problem. I like very much that the working zipper is on the outside, since as a world class overpronator, often my ankle will be irritated when it rolls onto an inside zipper. I have slim ankles, so the folds inside the working zipper did not bother me. In face if I have one criticism of this shoe it's that the ankle is a little loose and so not as supportive as it could be. I've yet to try it with socks, so that will probably help. I won't be walking miles over cobblestones in these but I should be able to to go out in the world and not wear sneakers now and again.

low toe box and a stiffer than expected shoe - didn't work for me

Out of the box, these Hush Puppies met my expectations for both quality and color. My actual foot size is between 8.5-9M and these shoes were sized well for me - more loose than tight on my bare feet - should be great with footies or light socks, which is my preference for work. I work retail 20+hrs per week and walk ~30mi/week, probably 22-24mi/wk at work. I've worn-out a Teva oxford-style shoe and am hopeful this low bootie will perform as well for stylish (-to-nerdie) support and performance. I'll see how I like the removable insole with the raised bump pattern once I've worked a couple of shifts in them. More to come, on the shoe. As usual, Zappo's nailed the prompt delivery!

I really needed a 12 N but did not have the option for this. My ankle could slide completely out of these. Just because some women have longer feet it does not mean we have big ankles or heels.

Cute boot, but just not comfortable for me for some reason. The great thing about Zappos, though, is that you can order, try on at home, and return what doesn't work with free shipping both ways. I live in a rural area and this phenomenal service is a HUGE perk for me. Thanks Zappos!

I was so excited to get these. Love the style, the leather and the overall look. However, these did not fit like any size 10 wide I’ve ever tried on. Extremely narrow. Could barely squeeze my foot in and could not zip. Sad, and sending back.

Love the style, but the shoes feel tight and narrow even in the wide size. I was hoping these were going to be my go-to walking shoes but I can’t imagine wearing them for a full day. Sadly I have to return them.

I wear a size 11 and when a shoe actually fits, I'm happy. When it also looks great I'm beyond happy! Comfortable and great style... Love! PS the zipper thing is no big deal.

This boot felt a little big overall especially around the ankle, but I returned because I just didn’t care for the styling of the boot. Too clunky and rather masculine.

I read that others had difficulty with zippers but I thought I'd take a chance. Found the same for the pair I received, only to realize that the interior zipper is decorative only. The outer zipper is the functional one. Should have been reversed to have interior zip functional instead. Too bad. Having to return. Otherwise would have been ok but not as comfortable as I would have hoped.

I have been looking for a short boot for quite some time. These are perfect! They have a low heel with plenty of grip for snowy days, and are well made. the only issue I had with the boot was that the heel slipped a bit, a problem I have with all boots, as I have a very narrow heel. The problem was solved with heel grips, and I am looking forward to cooler weather so I can wear these beauties!

Even though I love these, I had to give them 3 stars because I can't seem to get the size right. I'm normally a 6.5 or 7, but I have already gone down to a size 6, and they are still way too large. They are cute, and are exactly the booties I have been looking for, but they are sized much larger than any shoes I have tried. They also have removable insoles, which means even more room if the insoles are taken out. I feel bad ordering so many pairs of shoes and having to return them (Thank you so much, Zappos) but I really, really like them. I'm going to give it one final shot with a size 5.5 and if those don't work I'll give up.

I love the way this shoe looks, but for comfort and walking long distances, I'll wear something else. As other reviewers have noted, the heel is too wide and the foot is a bit narrower than it appears to be. I put heel pads in, which helped keep my foot in the shoe. After a day of walking around in them, I added foot pads to the front. They are comfortable enough for those times when I need a bootie but for walking more than a mile, I'll wear something else.

I ordered the black leather, and they are very cute. I like the flexible, non-slippery soles. I'm usually a 6.5 or 7, so I ordered a size 7 and they are at least a half size too large--maybe even a whole size when the removable insoles are taken out. They have two zippers, but only the outside zipper works, which isn't a problem for me. I am going to reorder them in the proper size.

These shoes are well made and I love the Mayzin Cayto color, which is actually taupe. They are very comfortable and run true to size. I also like the fact that the insoles are removable for my custom orthotics. Highly recommend!

The boots arrived looking even nicer quality than what is shown in the pictures. The styling has a very simple and classic feel. They were comfortable right out of the box. While it's true, as other reviewers have stated, that only one of the zippers is functional, I did not have any trouble at all getting the shoes on and off. I also do not have any issues with rubbing from the inside zipper guard. I would recommend anyone looking for comfortable and well made ankle boots giving these a try.

I ordered a 8.5W for my wide feet. These were cute but the heel was way too loose on them.I think these would work for someone whose entire foot is wide. My heel is normal, but my forefoot is wide, so I had to return.

These are adorable booties - they run true to size or possibly just a tiny bit large - the wide width was perfect for my feet and left room for my orthotics to be inserted - bought another color!

Ordered 11 W, and it arrived and felt both much narrower than a wide and much smaller than my normal size. Cute color! Wanted it to work, but they're being returned.
