This boot is phenomenal! My dog is obsessed with walks and with snow and I finally found a boot that can keep up with him. It is 8 degrees (F) out now, we just walked an hour on icy sidewalks, and my feet finally stayed warm the whole time! I buy good boots (Pajar, Solomon) and wear multiple pairs of ski socks and still get cold toes. These Baffins are amazing! They aren't as stiff as a few of the other pairs I've tried on, and the insulated foot bed actually made walking on jagged ice comfortable. Plus, I feel like they don't look as moon-boot-ish as some of the other warm ones. I highly reccomend these boots. I think they'll withstand many lake effect snowstorms. The only pointer: they run small. I am usually a 9.5 (10 with thick winter socks) and I ended up keeping an 11 as the 10s were too snug.

While these are really cute for snow boots, they are so uncomfortable. I wanted boots for walking around in NYC in snowstorms but the sole is so stiff that they make you walk flat footed, stomping around like Frankenstein. And when you try to walk normal, the calf area of the boot presses into the calf so much it's painful. Returned these.

Baffins are serious cold weather gear. The quality of the boots and the foot conforming material mean you need to take a 1/2 size bigger than normal shoe size, but I had the last Baffins for 20 years. I expect these to last the same. There are interior boot lining pull straps to prevent the dreaded bot lining smush-down when taking them on and off. I chose the lace up pair because of my wide calves, and it worked!

These are great boots. I love charging through a foot of snow like it’s no big deal. We had to do a lot of shoveling this year and my feet were comfortable and warm. I worried that my normal size 8 was too snug but there is a removable liner that is very cushy. It molds to your foot and feels great even over long hours. I’ve warm Sorel as my winter boots for years. These are better for my time outside.

Loved these but they ran quite small.

I loved everything about this boot except it had a horrible slip at the heal with every step. It may just be my feet, though. Don’t discredit it because of my review; my feet ar finicky. This boot seems like it would be an amazing boot if it fit me properly. I’m bummed I can’t wear it.

I really was impressed with the quality of these boots. However, they ran almost a size small for me. I would order at minimum a half size up if not a full size.
