Excellent boots for Canadian winters

I love these boots ! I winter camp and need winter hikers for snowshoeing and hiking. The fact I cam switch liners is amazing. They are very comfortable. I had to go to a mens 9 as the Baffin sizing is very off. Also this style is only available in Mens and not Womens . So far the quality seems good, time will tell .

Probably the best pair of boots Ive ever owned- perfect for outdoor cold weather actives. Superb comfort, while in them all day. Great product.

The boots are great the support staff are great. I had a problem.. the heel became unglued but Baffin sent me a new pair immediately.

600km of winter commuting got the best of both soles. Did not get this problem with my older, cheaper boots. Contacted Baffin warranty dept. with detailed photos. They acknowledged to the very worn soles, but considered this normal after 600km and one month usage. Wish I could have uploaded photos. Im' crossing my fingers these wont leak. On the positive side, the boot technology and warmth is ingenious and comfortable.

Decided to upgrade from the winter boots I had and took a chance on the Borealis. Come the first storm of the season, these boots have measured up beyond expectations! I use them for walking to and from school here in downtown Toronto, and they're comfortable, fit well on my oddly-wide feet (they widen most in the toe box, which is usually a big problem for finding boots that fit and are comfortable), stay really warm and dry and grip well. These boots will last for years, and I'm glad I can eventually buy replacements/backups for the inner boot.

Warm and comfortable that breathes so well my feet have yet to be hot while indoors and my feet usually always do. Very please with the overall quality and Baffin the company. I had an issue with a defect on another pair that was discontinued and they fully honoured their warranty and replaced them with these that I cannot be happier about. I see some reviews complain they fit tight which I would say the toe box is a bit snug initially but expands over time. I put a shoe tree in to speed it up and they are just perfect now. Definitely recommend it and imo far superior brand that the Pajars and other winter boot brands out there.

Warm, traction is okay not extremely grwat, but is quite heavy and may take getting used to. The reason for low rating is the fact that the outer layer gets a layer of condensation in it and doesn't look great at all for a shoe in this price range. Thinking of returning if possible.

The ultimate winter backpacking boot. The ability to take your liners out and wear them while you sleep is fantastic and the warmth and waterproofing is great. I dont find my feet getting sweaty despite seeming like they wouldn't breath. You can use your regular socks as well instead of having to Mack hug socks.

Went to all the outlets you guys said had these boots. Stores didnt have them. Even spoke to a rep there who sent me to mec store. Not avail. Read reviews online. Was skeptical but bought. The fit is tight. I spent almost $300 on these things and not comfortable. Not to mention just recently they were on sale for $199. Disappointed. I have some of your bigger safety boots and they fit well but not these

Love these boots! I appreciate the size tools. They are incredibly comfortable, warm, and great for hiking.
