this shoe looks great, but felt too small. I was tempted to just exchange for a larger size, but the sole of the shoe is slippery. From the slide it looks like it has a ridged bottom, but that only goes around the edges, and the middle of the sole is flat and slippery. Defeats the purpose of what I need them for. too bad, they look great. They have to go back.

Wonderful soft leather and walking comfort. However, even with my narrow feet, these are really snug across the top of my feet and since I have a small bunion on my right foot, they are not comfortable enough to keep. I’m returning only for that reason.

OMG are these ever gorgeous shoes, and comfortable right out of the box. I worry a little about the long-term durability of the sole, but the style and comfort of these make them so worth it for me.

Something I can rarely say: I love these shoes!! I wear size 12 N in most shoes that I will be wearing with nylons or thin socks and M if I wear them with heavier socks. I have a narrow heel and low instep so, finding a casual shoe that is attractive and will stay on my feet is difficult. I now have 2 pair of the Napoli shoes. One in the red, which actually looks closer to cordovan than red, in a 12N to wear with thin socks or nylons and the navy, which is a true dark navy, in a 12M to wear with heavier socks. I wore the navy shoes for the first time yesterday and was on my feet for 6 hours on a hardwood floor. My feet were totally comfortable! This shoe is so easy to put on and off with the zipper which makes it easy to change to outdoor shoes or vise versa. The cushioned insole is comfortable and softer than most that you find in a shoe of this style. It is also removable so, if you wear special orthotics I think you could easily use them.

Lovely leather, same excellent Munro construct. Easy zip. Sorry to have to return because of bunion on R foot. Tried both 8.5 W and WW, in this shoe. Have always worn 8.5M w/no problems, until a few years ago. Now can only get by in shoes with orthotics and a W width. While the R foot feels great in WW, the left one swims. Too bad. Yes, the shoe is pricy, but having worn a very similar Miunro model back when I didn't have a bunion, the quality is worth it. These shoes last and keep on looking good.

I actually tried these on in a store and form other reviews went with a a Wide. You can wear them right out of the bc. The blue Nhuck s a nice color and with the black sole - goes with grey, blue, and black.

My Munro Napoli shoes just arrived. The red color is a very dark red, almost cordovan, so is very versitle. They fit my size 12 N foot perfectly which is truly amazing! Since my instep is very low (I have a normal to high arch, though, it's impossible for me to wear flats or loafers without danger of walking right out of them and falling. I was a bit dubious as to how the wedge would feel but was sure the shoe wouldn't go flying off my foot while walking so I gave them a try. So glad I did. Even at this price point I think I'll order another pair in black. These could be worn with skirts as well as slacks and jeans.

I have worn Munro shoes for many years. For some reason the Napoli shoes hurt my feet which has never happened before. My toes hit the end and my feet get sore. Unfortunately I am returning them.

This shoe looked nice, but was very narrow. I was disappointed that it was so tight and did not work for my wide foot. I ordered my usual size of 10 WW that worked with other shoes including Munro, but the company has now made their brand a lot narrower than in previous years.

Shoe is more narrow than should be. Don't like the look of the sole.

I was surprised that the two pairs of Monroe's seem to be running narrower than I expected and than other shoes that I buy in a wide. It's been a long time since I have bought a pair of Monroe's but don't remember them running narrow before. I've re-ordered in a WW which I've never worn before. Besides that they look great.

Very elegant looking shoe with sweet smooth leather which is more mahogany than red. The toes were tight and the ankle loose, just the opposite of what I need. My 8.5W foot got into the 8.5W shoe, at an adequate length.

These shoes are great as an easy slip on for work. While the shoe itself felt wide enough, the zipper part took some time before I could get it to close over my big foot. However, with pant socks, I was able to close it. Also, the zipper can be half zipped or left unzipped and the shoe still works well (i.e. won't fall off your foot). It has great arch support as Munro shoes are known to have. I believe someone else commented that the shoe was slippery as the ridges are only on the sides. While true the ridges aren't on the bottom of the shoe through-out, I had no issue with slipping on cut pile carpet, laminate, or tile. Not sure the surfaces/needs the other poster has for the shoes.

These shoes were comfortable, which is huge for me, but the soles are deceptively designed. The perimeter of the shoe looks like there's an athletic tread on the sole, but in fact, it's smooth! Why? I'm looking for something with grip for the winter.

I really liked the look of this shoe, but it was far too narrow. I ordered a 9 1/2 W and it was more narrow than some of my regular width shoes, so I had to return. I considered ordering the WW but they're not in stock.

These were not comfortable. I am spoiled by the support and roominess of Alegria shoes. I ordered the double wide, but they did not feel wide enough.

I like the style of this shoe -- sleek, modern, and well-made. I have worn Munros for many years because they offer removable insoles (so I can add my custom orthotics) and the sizing, until recently, has been very consistent. This particular shoe runs shorter than marked and narrower than marked. I wear a 7.5M but ordered these in 8M to wear with mid-weight socks. I'm glad I did because the 7.5M would have been too small, even without the socks. With the 8M, I can only wear a light-weight sock. Once I adjusted to the sizing, I was pleased with the fit and the shank provides the stability I need. If you are between a M and W, I'd say go with the W. If you have high arches or flat feet, you will need your own orthotics because this shoe does not provide sufficient arch support. All-in-all, I like this shoe in the denim (a perfect dark blue nubuck). Just size up, and you'll enjoy them.

Quality of materials and style was nice, but I have a narrow foot, which this shoe was, but it was very, very narrow and I couldn't comfortably get my foot inside the shoe. I've never worn anything but narrow width shoes. I didn't want to even try a medium width because the narrow was extremely tight. *
