Great socks, warm and comfortable. Even fit my running shoes for a cold winter run.

I am on my feet walking all day at work. These socks give me the cushioning I need without making my feet sweat. I'll buy more .

I have been buying these socks for over ten years. I think my first pair was for a trans-Sierra ski trip where all my other socks fell apart and I ended up wearing them for a week straight. They were still cozy at the end of the trip. Since then I have owned dozens of pairs of this sock for work on the fireline and not once have I found a sock company that has products that compare to Smart Wool. If they have a fault it is only that they are so warm and cozy.

Bought my first pair today at a retailer. On the smart wool site now to get more colors. I'm not a hiker but needed some really thick socks for the weather. On a whim I dropped in a cold weather outfitter, found the socks and was hooked. These are well made, very high quality. Worth every penny.

I am a Wildland firefighter and I am in my boots all day, everyday. When I started my job I purchased a pair of high quality handmade boots. If your familiar with some of the companies then you know the quality/price. Well I was wearing regular cotton socks and my new boots where showing signs of the moisture retention. My wife bought me a pair of the Smartwool socks for Easter and I have never been happier. A quality sock for a quality boot! These socks never make my feet stink or prune even after being on the fire line for hours and hours. I expected them to cause my feet to get hot, but rather found it to be just the opposite. They breath very well. On top of all of that they are extending the life of my boots. Most work boots(or shoes in general) have a stench to them on the inside. Not mine, they still have that fresh clean leather scent from day one. The verdict: buy them...lots of them.

After over 6 years, my 10 pairs of Men's hiking crew socks are wearing out. I have put them through everything that the Army has sent me through, which is a lot. By far the best sock I have ever worn and I can say that you get what you pay for. I only hope that the newest purchase goes as well as my first. If they are the same sock, I can recommend them fully, unlike the underwear, which didn't survive long. Great sweat wicking, odor resistance and blister resistance.

There are comfy socks, athletic socks. and then there are life changing socks. These socks are life changibg. I am an adult male that walks 1.5 miles to work and back, and all day at the office. My feet usually sweat and sometimes hurt at the end of the day. Suddenly I found these socks and my life has truly changed for the better. Minimal sweat and ultra comfort. Amazing life changing socks.

Bought these socks for my boyfriend who will destroy anything that he wears, but these. I bought him 3 pairs 3 years ago as a trial and they are still going strong. No holes in the toes or heels. The soles are finally beginning to get thread bare. Great product Smartwool!!!

I received these as a Christmas gift and loved them so much I treated myself to 3 more pairs! I give them out as Christmas gifts now - hands down these are my favorite cold weather socks! Durable and worth the price!

I got these for my son for Father's Day, gave them to him early, so he could try them on and see if they were the type of socks he likes. He loves them. I had one pair that I had and didn't know where I had got them, gave them to my son and he wore them to work until he wore out the heal, so now he has some new one. These are really great socks, just wish I could afford to buy him more.

Purchased these over a decade ago. Finally lost there comfiness. Where did I go to buy more socks? Where do you think? Get these, you can't possibly be dissapointed.

I bought these socks for hiking in Costa Rica. They are warm but not too warm and oh so cushioned in all the right places.

These are the best socks ever! I am a ranch manager and I wear them every day to work. They give an amazing cushion on all sides of my feet and make my boots a dream to wear. I have not ever worn their equal...thanks Smartwool for such a great sock!!!

Socks are very comfy and provide good cushioning and breathability. And they look great. I like the text hidden inside the top hem. You'll have to buy a pair to find out what it says!

I have severe secondary Raynauds and these socks did absolute wonders for my feet! I would even wear them with nice leather boots to work. Needless to say, I now own several pairs.

I recommend these socks for anyone who wants to be warm and comfortable in cold weather. I wear them all winter. They are by far my favorite socks. They wash nicely and don't get typical "pills" from repeated washes. They are very comfortable and warm. I have several pairs of them!
