Great shoe, wore my new pair for a couple hours at home and my feet hurt just a bit. The next day they felt great...so good that I bought a second pair!

True to fit

This is a beautiful shoe. The highly polished smooth leather and classic design would be appropriate at almost any function or event. The modern cushioning system is truly first rate so far. The modern synthetic sole (probably Neolite) is thick enough that it will likely last a very long time, yet is not overly stiff. I normally wear a 14 E, but ordered this in a 14 EEE thinking it would be better with thick winter socks. The size seems to be a true 14, but the width seems like a regular E. Still, the shoes are more than acceptable, appearance wise, and also for comfort. The workmanship also seems to be first rate. I am a former master cobbler, ( now retired), so I feel qualified to make that statement.

Soles are hard. Work all day and feet hurt after about 4 hours

2 Star rating because I was disappointed in the color. The indigo color I previously tried on in a store was a lighter blue (like a denim) as pictured on the website. These arrived so dark I swear they were black. A call to customer service later confirmed this Indigo color is much darker. The shoes have been returned and I'm waiting on my refund, which is a shame because I really liked the shoe. I get it, dye lots change, but please change the image on your website. Had I known about the color change I wouldn't have had to soak up the expense of returning them.

The design is great but not satisfied with the blue color. Can't really tell it's blue. It's looks black depending on the lighting. Wish it was a more distinguishable blue color.

I've worn these shoes for a wedding and three times to work. I'm required to be on my feet a lot and wear dress shoes every day. You are better off spending a little more and buying J&M shoes over these

These shoes are build really well on the outside. The leather holds up really well and the stitching is really strong. My biggest complaint is about the inside of the shoes. The insoles broke down after the first two days, and they cant very well be replaced. They shrank and pulled away from the bottom of the shoe, and they bunch up under my feet. The back of the inside of the shoe has some kind of seam in it, which has broken down after a few days as well, and has become jagged against the tendon in the back of my ankle.

I ordered shoes for my son and was very disappointed to find out after I spent so much money that when they came, they came scratched up. He was unable to return them and so he is dealing with it.

The shoes were fine, expect, the color burdedey ,was too rich for my suits. I wanted Oxblood, that would better go with my suits. Please sell Pure Oxblood shoes. Thank you very much, for letting me try on your shoes. I will keep searching your website for Oxblood shoes. Also, the Toe of the shoes were long and tight. I was looking for a More rounded Toe. Thank you very much.

Way too narrow for a wide shoe; I couldn't even get it on my foot.
